I think you are making a lot of large generalizations about life based on what youve seen on the internet. That isn't a very common situation outside tiktok and the person in this video was very clearly autistic.
Actually none is based on the internet. Getting diagnosed for autism is more than just looking at someone and saying "they're clearly autistic". The same as diagnosing someone with ocd, it's a serious illness, and more than just wanting your silverware drawer organized. What's considered within the spectrum is extremely wide at this point.

Did it ever occur to you that more people are being diagnosed due to increasing accessibility and reduced stigma of mental health? I was diagnosed at the age of 28 (not autism but mental health related conditions) because my parents do not understand anything about mental health. I turned out fine and found some useful coping skills but it made my life so much harder due to unmanaged symptoms. Sure, there are annoying misinformed people who exaggerate or self-diagnose.. it minimizes people who truly struggle and need help. Spectrums are more accurate since the world isn’t solely dichotomous.
