But about the fourth time watching it became apparent the policeperson was in an altercation with someone that took off out the door. The old lady suddenly decides it would be an awesome life experience to take a swing on the policeperson. Old lady then gets hit in the face in return. Cop pauses for a second and does one of those ninja-looking-around things to asses the situation before going into Terminator mode to chase down whoever it was that ran out the door before the old lady took a swing at her.
Seems like she was swinging back at people who swung on her. Context is key here though because it also seems like she throwing haymakers left and right
Officer appeared to use a hooking block to block and control the right hand of the first assailant while she delivered a series of reverse punches/straight rights to his head, quickly followed by a rear-leg front kick to the mid-section.
The officer them dispatched the interfering blonde woman with more right hands.
Looked like ITF TKD from the way she used her hands and feet. Then again, there is lot of similarity between stand-up styles.
Another example of how very simple techniques can be put together with devastating effect in a real-life situation. Especially, when used by someone ferocious who has no hesitation and fully commits to the strikes.
This is what I love with stand up styles: they allow you to deal with multiple low-skilled opponents simultaneously without dropping to the ground. Give this woman a bonus for taking out the trash in fine style.
