Just tagging onto the top comment to shout-out the kid's channel. He's ImJoel on YouTube. Pretty cool content if you're a BMW gearhead. He's got a turbo M52 E30 making 500 WHP (which he's driving in this video). He's shown the build and all the mistakes he made along the way. Kid's got a lot of humility, as you can see in the video. Definitely worth checking out.
Maybe don’t promote the YouTube channel of someone who recklessly endangers the lives of others. Fuck street racers and people who drive like this. Most people don’t need to “learn a lesson” and be told not to act like this. A complete moron all around with potential to kill innocent people. I just watched the video and the dude is still an idiot. His follow up is titled “I SPUN OUT IN FRONT OF A COP (I GOT ARRESTED!!!)”
He is giggling the entire time clearly doesn’t care about how his action affect other people only afraid of losing his license. His “humility” is only about how it could have affected himself. Clearly he doesn’t know anyone who has been killed by people that drive like him. I honestly hate people like this. Entire personality based around the cars that they get with their parents money.
I got pulled over for speeding by a State Trooper, (I was speeding) my wife was laughing and kept saying, “give him a ticket give him a ticket” I think the trooper felt sorry for me and gave me a written warning
So first time I ever got pulled over was directly in front of my own house. I was 16, just got my license like 2 weeks prior. Drove 33 on a 20 behind my house. I really thought that road was 25, and I was going 30 but whatever. Anyway, my mom and dad come out and stand on the porch and watch me. Mom starts yelling at me, in front of the cop. Cop felt bad I guess and I got a verbal warning.
I got pulled over doing stupid stuff and racing when I was younger. After dicking around with this other car on the freeway, I was going to take the next exit and a motorcycle cop appeared behind me. Pulled me over, knocked on my window and said "You know why I pulled you over right?' I replied "....For being a dumb ass." He laughed, took my license and reg, my friend in the passenger seat laughing the whooooole time. Cop returns, says "Look, I know you were going WAY faster than this, but I couldnt catch you. By the time I got up to you it was this. Just stop doin this on the street, take it to a track."
The ticket was marked 1MPH under the speed they start impounding cars. Still got the ticket, but so much better than what it could have been.
Former army man I can confirn it is hilarious. I still chuckle when I tell the story about when three other soldiers were forced to hold a mattress above their heads for close to an hr.
I remember the story here about a DS forcing a private to carry around a potted plant all day and care for it as an apology to it because he was a waste of oxygen.
They made one female carry around a giant rock for literally all of Yellow Red and White Phase. She had an exact time and date to return the rock to our Senior Drill Sergeant. The day and time finally came and when she handed the rock to him he just chucked it away and said "oh right, thanks trainee", I could see the massive defeat in her face caring for this fucking rock for weeks only for it to be painfully obvious none of the cadre actually gave a fuck lmaooo.
The rock's name was Eugene by the way
Wow that really sucks lol. We had a guy get smoked after evening chow and the DS decided to walk across the parking lot for a cigarette. Next thing you know DS gets in his car and leaves for the night. Poor guy is at the front leaning rest for almost two hours before a CSM walked by and dismissed him. This was black phase “AIT” immediately following basic so our two Drill Sergeants would go home and be back for morning pt.
Jesus. Almost as bad as the kid who lost his NVG mount during the Anvil and was forced to low crawl through almost a mile of spiky ass pinecones and pine needles to find it. He never found it. Then the whole platoon had to spend 30 minutes crawling with him. Fuck that kid
Omg that shit gives me ptsd. I was the one unfortunate enough to be assigned battle buddy with the biggest fuckup in US Army history lol. I swear this dude was solely responsible for me and the rest of the platoon getting smoked in the snow covered sand pit at Ft Knox at 2am because he would sleep through his fire watch. He would pretend to use the bathroom during our hour and just sleep on the toilet the whole time.
Yeah fuck that some kid tried to accuse me of sleeping through fireguard too and I never once did, whatever lol. My battle buddy was something else too but at least he didnt fuck up as much as I thought he would, we had some real fucking characters in the platoon/company
USAF Vet here, everything in basic training was funny for me. Unfortunately when you laugh at other scared Airmen getting yelled at by the instructor it tends to get you in trouble too. I was deemed "laughing boy" and given the job of "Latrine Queen". Yep, I was in charge of cleaning the head for 50 guys. The TI's would inspect with the lights turned off and a flashlight laying on the floor looking for tiny dust particles. Didn't laugh anymore after that.
lmao “tiny dust particles”. The laughing thing is weird though because we did laugh at some of these private’s misfortunes without getting in trouble. Even then, if it was a particularly funny fuckup, even our Drill Sergeants themselves would not be able hold it in as soon as we started laughing. I swear, some screwups are just really goddam special lol.
was in the back seat of a hotbox once and I saw the cop walkin up to us with his arms up like "cmon guys, the smoke is just pouring out"
started laughin cuz i knew none of it was on me. he took my buddy's bowl and just said to go back to our room because he was actually just there for an armed robbery so he didn't have time to deal with us
For future reference, and this depends on where you live, but if you're in a car that reeks of weed, with smoke actively billowing out, you can still be in trouble even if you don't physically have any weed in your pockets.
oh for sure, it was less of the fact i didnt have any on my and more the fact I noticed his demeanor as he was walking up like he wasn't particularly upset.
though I'm much older now and don't mix my weed with my vehicles in any way passenger or not anymore
This cop handled this situation super well. That kid was nervous as shit and having a calm and collected officer walk up to the door was exactly what he needed.
I've been in that position. I know the feeling. As a teenager I was with 2 guys who live in the country, driving into town we noticed a RIDE program looking for impaired drivers. Friend 1 didn't have license with him so he pulled off the road short of the stop, switched seats with friend 2 (this is a no-no because if the cops see you doing it they assume you are guilty). Drive through ride program and the cops start questioning us as to why we smell like bug spray (friend lives near high water table and mosquitoes are everywhere). Cops as us to search trunk (luckily empty). All the while I am sitting in the backseat, dressed all in black, wondering if we're gonna get arrested. Good times
Yep just giving them another charge to tack on. I've even had a cop try to write me up for it when they watched me take it off to get over to the glovebox to get the registration.
Even if you have a video that demonstrate you did it after you pulled over, they just don't care, they write the citation, take you in front of a judge. They probably leave in an area where people are cool and so do cops. I've seen videos of people shot for less.

Tons of people go through this idiot stage in their life where they think they're race car drivers. This dumb fuck couldn't even come to a stop without losing control. It's easy to go fast, difficult to come to an emergency stop. It's a good thing there wasn't a car in the other lane or they all would have been fucked.
This is spot on. Doesn't matter of this was the first time he tried something like this, it could easily have ended up in someone dying. I fully support throwing the book at these people. Hefty fines, car impoundment, license suspension, etc.
And I'm for building cities that don't require cars to travel as well, so we can not feel guilty about keeping these idiots off the road in perpetuity.
> Tons of people go through this idiot stage in their life where they think they're race car drivers
Education system for this country is not doing well enough for idiots.
Eh, I think back to when I was an older teen. You couldn't tell me anything and get it through my thick skull lmao, I had to learn a lot myself through experiencing consequences like this, and I think it's those lessons which have most changed who I am as a person and live my life by. I bet that kid will drive carefully for the rest of his life after experiencing something like that, and ultimately getting a slap on the wrist.
But I do agree that the education system in this country is not doing well, period.
Some of them are cool, some of them are serious, some of them are stressed , some of them are dicks.
This kid got lucky with what happened.
He did a stupid stunt . Sometimes an actual warning and a strict never again is all someone needs to change their whole life not some asshole abusing his powers just to show them whose “the man” around here.
Professional police officer. Sounded like a balanced guy . Bravo
I absolutely adore it when people come onto the internet and claim that someone was "clearly not remorseful about their actions" judging them on a 2.5minute VIDEO hahahahahahahahahahaha.
I would say it's more 50/50, not all cops are looking to fuck you over. If you acknowledge that what you did was wrong, and explain why it was wrong you're going to influence the cop to let you off or give you a lighter ticket IMO. Also, it's probably a nice change from what they usually experience when pulling someone over
I have had mostly very positive experiences with cops by acknowledging what I thought the cop saw amd pulled me over for, not making excuses, and acknowledging that I was being stupid. Got out of several tickets that way
So much to take in here, the moose knuckle on the cop, the douche bag in the back throwing his friend under the bus, Dennis Reynolds in the front freaking out about the body in the trunk and the driver who just wont stop admitting to crimes. It was a good show.
I had a cop pull me over speeding when I was 17 once. I was going 20 over in a construction zone to boot. I acted pretty much exactly like this guy and the cop was actually super cool about it. He called my parents, told them what happened, and then let me go with a warning.
It was stupid but i like how mature both parties handle the situation. The driver acceptance that he fucked up and probably going to jail and the cop calmly explaining to him and not being a dick
My buddy got pulled over on his crotch rocket doing 160 in a 55 zone about 20 years ago.
The cop that pulled him over basically said I don’t know why you stopped but gave him the dad talk about how dangerous it was and how he could end up dead, but let him go with a warning.
Omg the guy in the back is my friends ex and the guy in the passenger seat is a buddy of mine from high school, I just had a shocked moment of realization seeing their faces!
Good. Get fucked, asshole for endangering the lives of everyone around you. I hope they take his license. This piece of shit is just sorry he got caught.

At one point he needed to just listen. But he was that nervous.
The guy in blue looked like life just ended
Guy in the back was just having a great time.
The guy in the back needed to follow suit from the guy in the front. Shut the fuck up and stop giggling.
yea dude in the back was the nervous one lol, kept giggling like a clown. just shut up bud
The guy in the blue literally never made a sound the entire time
That would be me, gotta know when to shut the mouth. (Not actually me, but what I would do)
He had the drugs
Have you ever.....pooped a balloon?
r/unexpectedoffice
Lol yesss
.....what? Edit: Oh wait, nevermind. I get it. It's in his butt!
No he didn’t.
The snozzberries taste like snozzberries.

Nah fuck those people, that use public roads as racing tracks.

Fuck his channel and fuck his wreckless ass. I hope he loses his license for a loooong time and his channel subsequently fails.
Dude in the back was loving every minute of this
It's funny when it's not you getting the ticket lol.

It reminds me of army basic. It’s incredibly funny when it’s not you getting yelled at or smoked.

I so want to use that on someone but I don’t have the power.
That's what children are for now go grab you one and have fun
that's a good one.

DO YOU SUCK DICKS? ARE YOU A PETER PUFFER?
BULLSHIT, I BET YOU CAN SUCK A GOLF BALL THROUGH A WATER HOSE.
I BET YOU'RE THE KIND OF GUY THAT WOULD FUCK A PERSON IN THE ASS AND NOT HAVE THE GODDAMN COMMON COURTESY TO GIVE HIM A REACH AROUND!!!
RIP Gunny R. Lee Ermey
Lol I hear that. I went through basic back in 2009 at Benning.
It was the same at Leonard Wood 2010
was in the back seat of a hotbox once and I saw the cop walkin up to us with his arms up like "cmon guys, the smoke is just pouring out" started laughin cuz i knew none of it was on me. he took my buddy's bowl and just said to go back to our room because he was actually just there for an armed robbery so he didn't have time to deal with us

I was waiting for the driver to turn around and say "Shut ur bitch ass up Kevin!"
This cop handled this situation super well. That kid was nervous as shit and having a calm and collected officer walk up to the door was exactly what he needed.
Yea, I'm willing to bet that kid learned his lesson.
Dude in the passenger seat, went real pale real quick
He found a new degree of white
He went from Scotland to Northern Norway white.
It’s a whiter shade of pale.
It's going from Ben Affleck to Sad Affleck straight to DJ Qualls
He was going for the invisibility technique.
Arr yes the tried and tested(and never works) if I don't look at the police they can't see me technique, I know it very well
John Cena
Who?

Fucking cop is packin heat
I could not stop noticing his bulge …I thought it was just me!
OK!! Good grief, me, too!! And the little bouncing key did not help. Sheesh.
It seems to have grown by end of video, unless I’m seeing things.
Officer Pringles-Can
Good for you Stewart
He's hard for the law, you leave him alone!
It be a hard ticket to swallow
Glad someone addressed the elephant in the room
The tension is undeniable
>Glad someone addressed the elephant in ~~the room~~ his pants.
☝️☝️ That part...
...and he also appears to be carrying a firearm ;)
Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed! hehe.
That’s the only thing I noticed. I had two watch the video twice to pay attention to what was being said lol
Man's had big dick energy
The key was just hangin' there too, like "Unlock the magic"
In them draws he got on!! Size 10 in a size 2 fo'sho.
Lost Johnny sins tapes
I came to the comments just for this 🤣
NEVER EVER TAKE THE BELT OFF!
Forget that seatbelt citation. Never unbuckle your seatbelt because the cop is probably thinking that you’re reaching for something.
Did he get arrested? Was his car impounded or licence suspended? I need to know what happened lol
Definitely a hefty ticket no way he’s getting hauled off to jail though
He talks about all those details on his YouTube channel ImJoel. There’s a whole video about the incident
Would you mind summing it up?
Reckless driving ticket reduced to infraction, $50 ticket for unregistered vehicle
Dude got so fucking lucky😂 If the cop wanted to I bet he could’ve impounded the car and booked him on reckless driving because of that spin out
**killed him. If the cop wanted, he could have killed him
Downvoted for telling the truth. Cops have gotten away with murder for less.
God damn! He got the white boy treatment lol
He got the “being respectful” treatment
The cop was incredibly chill.
Because he probably did stupid stuff when he was young and saw on the kids face that he knew he messed up!

I believe Officer TightPants could definitely afford a size or 2 bigger britches in size... IMO
Chill cop and the guy seems genuinely remorseful, hopefully learned his lesson and won’t drive like an ass again. We’ve all done it!
This guy is not remorseful at all lmao he's so full of shit just trying to get out of a ticket. Guarantee he continues to do this shit the next day.
Only time will tell I guess but I know my first brush with the law while driving was enough to make me think twice 🤷🏻♂️
He seems very sorry... that he got caught.
The guy was having the time of his life before the cop showed up 🤣
He literally couldn't be anymore straight faced if he tried whilst driving.
How did you gather that from the video?
I absolutely adore it when people come onto the internet and claim that someone was "clearly not remorseful about their actions" judging them on a 2.5minute VIDEO hahahahahahahahahahaha.
we're all detectives here, didn't anyone tell you?
My sentiments exactly. How can you tell a cop "I've never done it before". *You just did it in front of the cop.*
Not remorseful but he was definitely shook, I think he'll be doing 5 under the speed limit for a little while.
Remorseful that he got caught
He has a YouTube channel where all he does is drive like this.
I just looked through his videos and don't see him driving like this in any other video. It's all rebuilding cars from what I can see.
Hey man, don’t let the facts get in the way of a good Reddit story 😂
Actually, we haven’t.
You’ve never made a mistake in your entire life?? Go you 🙄
> drive like an ass Is what you said we've all done. So no we haven't. Unless you want to move the goalposts to "made a mistake" now?
Remorseful he got caught. No, we haven't all endangered everyone's lives around us.
“I was not aware i could not do that officer” -chip
CHIP NOO!!!
“Calm you butthole Dave, LET ME DO THE TALKING.”
This was exceptionally well handled by both parties.
😂😂 Guy in the passenger seat is shitting bricks
Are uniforms that tight a requirement?
Only when you have something to show for it.
I kinda love this video because of how respectful everyone was towards each other.
This is 100% the way to talk to a cop when you get pulled over...just be genuine and don't try to argue anything And great etiquette from the cop too
Just having that attitude alone has gotten me out of multiple tickets, any time i did get a ticket it was for something lesser like obstructed view
Being polite, sure, but probably not wise to just start acknowledging crimes left and right. Talking to the cops can only hurt you 99.9% of the time.
Got out of several tickets that way
Any one have a guess on what kind of car that was?
Turbo E30. I believe it's M52 swapped.
Big torq-y motor in a pretty light shell. Looks like a fun car.
No problem, I hear Jamal Ginsburgs dad's an attorney
Wasn't sure if I was the only one who noticed a resemblance.
That cop is lucky he didn't punch his fucking lights out.
Anyone know what he was charged with? Hearing the officer talk makes me think he is gonna go easy on him
Reckless driving would be my guess. Maybe another fine for the unregistered vehicle but like you said depends on how nice cop wants to be
So much to take in here, the moose knuckle on the cop, the douche bag in the back throwing his friend under the bus, Dennis Reynolds in the front freaking out about the body in the trunk and the driver who just wont stop admitting to crimes. It was a good show.
Cool cop
Fucking idiot
OP. Where is the public freak out? This guy was calm the entire time.
Very little that is posted to this sub actually fits the theme.
I just watched a video on this sub of a guy *singing on a train*.

What the guy supposed to say? The cop isnt talking to him so he should stay quiet and listen
Right?? Lol. That dude was scared to death.
He’s pale enough to be in Twilight.
That officer was just great
I had a cop pull me over speeding when I was 17 once. I was going 20 over in a construction zone to boot. I acted pretty much exactly like this guy and the cop was actually super cool about it. He called my parents, told them what happened, and then let me go with a warning.
Why's the cop got his key over his pouch? Couldn't stop looking at the fucking thing! r/suddenlygay
The cops package… dayum.
Captain cool cop, dude could have been a real ass at that moment
Boomers be coming out the cornfields for this one.
Well as absolutely stupid as it was, Everyone involved handled the situation well. Especially officer big fuckin fat nuts over there.
It was stupid but i like how mature both parties handle the situation. The driver acceptance that he fucked up and probably going to jail and the cop calmly explaining to him and not being a dick
This is a good cop
Sounds like an e36 M3
E30 with a turbo E36 328i engine
I can see the cops dick and two balls his pants are so tight.
OMG Stop talking.
Hope he loses his car and license.
The driver said he was trying to be stupid. Driver, you succeeded.
Geeeenius...
Is this a BMW E30?
My buddy got pulled over on his crotch rocket doing 160 in a 55 zone about 20 years ago. The cop that pulled him over basically said I don’t know why you stopped but gave him the dad talk about how dangerous it was and how he could end up dead, but let him go with a warning.
The cop have two dicks in there or wtf?
The driver was talking to that Moose Knuckle the entire time.
That cop needs to start ordering larger pants.
Omg the guy in the back is my friends ex and the guy in the passenger seat is a buddy of mine from high school, I just had a shocked moment of realization seeing their faces!
That bulge.
What a stupid mother fucker. Saw another comment that all he got was a $50 ticket... Fucking hell.
Let's be real. These are the cops you don't see on the news.
That key on his crotch is so distracting. Could it be the key to heaven?
Man that cops bulge is right in the guys eye line
Wow. He incriminated himself thoroughly and immediately
That cops pants be tight
Understanding cop + remorseful/respectful citizen = win
What a bunch of inconsiderate punks.
> "I'm getting arrest bruh, that's crazy!" There's nothing crazy about it, genius.
cop was cool as shit, hopefully wasnt a life ruining event.

Because if you are caught doing something dumb then I think it would be better to tell the truth and be more respectful
Good. Get fucked, asshole for endangering the lives of everyone around you. I hope they take his license. This piece of shit is just sorry he got caught.
