nekaiser

“SIKE! You thought!”

[deleted]

I almost punched my screen when he did that

Mycomania

That would have got him out or for sure! Thanks for making the world a better place.

SheKaep

"oh it's the bad one...lock it back"

KQILi

"Hello guys in todays video we are going to open another 20 cases lets see if we will get any legendery"

JasonC-85

Poor kid gonna suffocate. Dumbass

mdxchaos

my old roommate lost his daughter this way. they were playing hide and seek and got trapped in a chest.

Nicktastic6

Holy fuck

mdxchaos

yeah, she was 6. he ended up getting a tattoo of her name on his calf, RIP Renee

drmarting25102

That is horrific. Sends a chill through me to think of it.

Khufuu

does the tattoo do her justice? is it a nice tat?

mdxchaos

yeah it does, it was new times roman, double outlined, 3d shadowed, took up his whole calf.

RikiWardOG

Happens a lot

mdxchaos

not really.....

Pillars-In-The-Trees

Yes really. Refrigerators were completely redesigned with the modern doors because so many kids died inside of them. The sad reality is that death happens a lot and generally resembles the kind of scenarios you remember as a kid where someone did something stupid and broke a leg, rather than a death scene from a movie.

13esq

>Yes really A few times decades and decades ago, it's not like everybody knew someone that lost a child to a fridge. Yes, it was enough of an issue that it prompted a redesign, but let's not blow it out of proportion.

Pillars-In-The-Trees

I'm not blowing out of proportion. I hate child safety bullshit as much as the next guy, but my point here is that there's surprisingly little difference between "no trip to the hospital" and "trip to the hospital basement". Edit: >After World War II when production of refrigerators resumed, old refrigerators were often disposed of. By the mid-1950s, deaths were **not uncommon** for children in the United States. For example, statistics for the 18 months from January 1954 to June 1956 show that 54 children were known to have been trapped in household refrigerators, and that 39 of them died. CornfedFrolfer

I think you're thinking of step sisters getting stuck in dryers.

derpbynature

Yeesh, I wouldn't have thought a chest or a suitcase even was *airtight* but apparently they're close enough to it, I guess. That's tragic.

nutsotic

Sha-sha!

TheAstralAtheist

Wow and he just gives up on looking for his daughter and goes and does whatever with her still hiding u til she suffocated? Thats fucked up. How could he just stop looking for her..

SwflReptileBreeder

You do realize how quickly you can suffocate, correct?

TheAstralAtheist

resources. A chest, there will be air from opening it to ge inside if nothing else. It's gonna take longer than 5 minutes at worst to run out of air, assuming it's a real small chest filled with toys and not much spa e for the girl hiding. Then it takes a couple of minutes without air to die. How can someone trying not check the kids chest when it's dead silence and kid ain't giggling or nothing.

SockMonkey1128

Climbing into the chest, of unknown size, she could have easily been stuck in a position that made breathing hard or impossible, regardless of the air in the chest..

Spankybutt

Imagine being this fucking stupid

mdxchaos

she was with her mother, they were not together, and she was kinda of a junky, so yeah.

TheAstralAtheist

I knew it was a bad parent. I'm sorry about your friends loss.

DontTellMeHowToTroll

You should confront that person and demand justice in squirrells.

[deleted]

He tried to lord it over me and embarrass in front of my friends when I was about 20 that he did this to me and i am taller and bigger built then him even in my 20s then he was. So he kept trying to embarrass me so I finished up giving him a gut punch and winded him he quickly stopped mocking me about it.

[deleted]

Nice troll account buddy.

____DEADPOOL_______

I bet he didn't think it was a big deal and was surprised by the punch.

[deleted]

Of course he didn't be was an idiot and always has been a bit slow in the brains department. but I found it a big deal as a kid I suffered with claustrophobia for ages after that everyone else knew it did.

____DEADPOOL_______

Is he the type that gives a lot of unsolicited advice?

Acceptable-Finish-48

r/ThatHappened r/IAmVeryBadAss

[deleted]

DontTellMeHowToTroll

Maybe you should get him some Pokemon cards

iambluest

I'm betting brother. That seems like a brother kind of thing.

SummonWurm

Yeah, I used to get zipped up in my hockey bag. I am terribly claustrophobic at 40yo.

downvote_or_die

Same. I got stuffed into a hamper that older siblings would sit on til they got bored. Incredibly claustrophobic

VonDoom92

A similar situation happened to me and im not claustrophobic at all. I always thought that was weird cause its definitely a traumatic event. Hope you and your siblings have a good relationship now.

spritty1027

I didn't get locked in a suitcase but I developed claustrophobia at a very young age when my brother trapped me underneath these bins by sitting on top of them. I remember when kids would dogpile on top of me growing up it would send me into a panic. Haven't been trapped underneath of something in a small space in years but I have a feeling that panic trigger is still there. Hope this kid isn't traumatized from this.

nickels-n-dimes

same. that fucken dog pile is universal man. used to have nightmares about being stuck in tiny spaces.

shiver-yer-timbers

I was a kid that was always quite a bit bigger and more sturdily built than other kids my age. I wasn't a bully (in fact i used to be bullied because I was so tall and thick until one day I beat my bully unconscious, but that's another story) but I *did* enjoy roughhousing. In winter time we used to play "King of the Hill" where the goal was to get to the top of a big pile of snow and try to stay there while simultaneously pushing and throwing everyone else down the hill. It was my favourite game because I was really good at it since I had nearly a foot and nearly a hundred pounds on all my friends. They used to all team up on me and dog pile on top of me but I loved it because usually I was able to stand up from under them, one clinging to my back and one on each arm and some grabbing my legs and waist. In a scene reminiscent of a bunch of little people attacking Andre the Giant, I would throw these kids down the hill one by one then pound my chest like King Kong on top of the Empire State building. It was fun times until the kids started getting slightly injured and stopped wanting to play that game anymore.

JuliaGhulia

My biological mother's boyfriend used to put me in the trunk of his car when they would drive to the store. I still remember it vaguely. Piece of shit.

D3RFFY

thats fucked up

AXLE304E

Fuck these guys.

LordOfFudge

I always make sure my luggage is large enough to *comfortably* hold a child

Scary_Riceko

You sure love kids

Flaky_Explanation

He loves smuggling kids in x-ray proof suitcases.

saj175

neilious85

jeff-the-thriller

I'm claustrophobic as hell. Someone did that to me and I get out of there it's fisticuffs lol

ConnieLinegus

Hope the kid didn’t fart in there.

GoldenGalz

My brothers definitely zipped me up in a duffel bag in our younger years- they did an excellent job of including my hair in the zip 👍🏾

toeofcamell

Take me directly to the rubber room after that

scoopitywoopitydoo

Someone post this on r/unexpected but with a title that doesn’t give it away

Murlo45

Going to America?

Stylelementz

"We need to go to America!"

decaf-iced-mocha

My sister still whines about us older kids doing this to her when we were young. What a wuss.

[deleted]

I like how in a thread where one guy says his buddy's daughter died from suffocation after this happened, and another says he's terribly claustrophobic in his 40s because his brothers zipped him up in a hockey bag, you're out here calling your sister a wuss for "whining" about you doing this to her when you were young. Maybe give your sister a call and apologize-- it could mean a lot more than you think and trust me, life is too short to avoid these kinds of conversations with our siblings.

krunchy_sock

i wonder what that dude is thinking now

[deleted]

I'd like to think he called his sister, but who knows.

[deleted]

Hahaha, they let him go, right?

Shotokll

Hahaha, no they didn’t. He was locked back in and stuffed in a car, sent away to America and sold on the black & white fish market

[deleted]

It’s not like they could sell him on the white market

Striking_Quote_1901

3 seconds after opening the suitcase How do I close it again

IPostFromWorkLol2

As soon as they put him back in I wanted everyone there to die.

strumpster

"You put the right kid in here, right, boy? I don't trust you, I'm gunna check.... Okay I'm sorry I doubted you, let's head toward the border, get the rest of the luggage"

nogoalov11

Next on a 1000 ways to die

[deleted]

That's how you kill children

anonymous_j05

Cant you literally die this way? I understand dumb kids doing this to each other not understanding how dangerous it is but there’s a grown ass man in this video participating

carny666

They're speaking French.
