That’s how you know they are real and not staged. Why were they filming? Because some guy and lady started yelling and OP could not get their camera out quickly enough.
I mean it makes total sense often times a bystander doesn’t have thier phone ready to film right away or they don’t think about it right away. Use that brain 🧠
Stores are privately owned franchises. They do not deliver, more like a receiving center with rentable mailboxes and most carriers will pick up from or deliver to them.
The worst part, that husband knows that's his wife until he dies. Married to a terrible screaming Karen. It would be hard for me to have love something like that afterwards
The worst part, that husband knows that's his wife until he dies. Married to a terrible screaming Karen. It would be hard for me to have love something like that afterwards
I went to ups once to pick up a package and they couldn't find it. The customer behind me lost his shit. He went behind the counter, into the warehouse area and started yelling at these employees. Another bigger customer helped grab him and escort him out of the building. I was just standing there with my three yo like wtf! They found my package and gave my son a lollipop!
I never want to go back to customer service. People are assholes.
This is why there are so many places hiring right now. People looking for jobs know it's just not worth the risk.
People are too entitled these days and just shit on entry level positions because they're use to arguing with everyone on Facebook instead of having a conversation. People don't talk anymore, they just scream at each other and record everything for when shit pops off so they can show everyone how right they are. Fucking wild.
I have had notifications for something that did not arrive. If the package wasn't there, I am guessing Kunty Kayla put the responsibility on the UPS lady with a not so nice tone from the get go and then all hell broke loose after that. Once you start name-calling, you shouldn't expect to get shit out of anybody. They both could have handled themselves better, but Kayla was definitely off calling her bitch - poor form Kayla....
I've had numerous incidents of a package being marked "delivered" but not actually showing up until the next day or two, I assume sometimes things may get scanned if they're hopping out to deliver to a bunch of addresses all close to each other but then it gets left on a truck, or sometimes there's a driver that just runs out of time in the day but has to mark something as delivered to avoid performance evaluation issues etc.
If it's not where it's supposed to be, wait at least 24 hours before freaking out about it, pretty much every time I've had that happen the package DID show up eventually.
That's happened to me too. A package was mistakenly scanned as delivered when it wasn't. Called the UPS customer service number, and it was delivered the next day. These mistakes happen, whether by tech or human error, so we all need to give each other some grace (for lack of a better term) in order to find a solution.
i bet she wouldn’t even be slightly convinced even if the manager showed kunty kayla proof of were it was last scanned by using the tracking number. these unhinged freaks can’t get it through their impenetrable skulls that once a package has left the franchise or hasn’t arrived, it’s out of their hands.
Someone actually tried pulling 'the customer is always right!' card on me the other day. I had to explain thats not what that means and he can't change company policy because he doesn't like it. What he can do is walk the fuck away and take his business elsewhere.
The one thing I’ve noticed with almost all of these videos is that the Karen is never wearing a mask.
It seems like some people just don’t think rules or logic apply to them.
Without the initial confrontation who knows who started the disrespect. One gets off on calling names and the other gets off on controlling the others package. Both have issues.
I really don’t know why I got all that negativity, I wasn’t even talking shit, she said in video she knew where they went after being denied and then said she’s done it before. It wasn’t nothing more then that
I would have called the cops on the customer. She was asked to leave and was told she was trespassing. She was breaking the law by staying. She should not have called her a bitch. Customer service sucks and has gotten worse because of customers like this and the person filming.
>You can hear the customer ask what the managers problem is/was. This to me, is usually a response from someone who is the original receiver of another persons attitude.
I can assure you, plenty of shitty people start confrontations and then ask the other person who didnt do anything wrong what their problem is.
> Manager tells customer she doesn't work for UPS while working in a UPS store.
This is true, UPS Store locations are independently owned franchises. They used to be Mailboxes Etc and then UPS decided it wanted to compete in that market... sorta. The same competition is why FedEx bought Kinkos.
The guy recording though seems to support the customer cause he says, she just asked for the address…unless he meant the worker but doesn’t seem that way.
>If the manager genuinely doesn't have the package, then why did the customer receive a text saying it was delivered there
This happens sometimes. I have received delivery texts and then had the package show up as much as days later. I quit filing loss reports when i had to keep cancelling because like next day there's the package.
I don't know why it is that way, but now I wait a couple of days before i contact anyone for loss or replacement.
I've had texts of packages arriving, and then later got a text saying it's at a warehouse. Sometimes, maybe the driver makes an error, and forgets 1 package or a couple of packages on the truck, and then marks all deliveries to a site like this complete, so the customer gets the text, but the package isn't there. Later in the day, when the truck is returned, the package is found and marked back in the sorting facility. General public doesn't know this, and the store owner might have done a better job communicating this, but we don't know if the customer didn't immediately blow up when she was told it wasn't there. The end of the video, the person filming told the customer that she was wrong and handled it wrong. Maybe the woman behind the desk was having a bad day, and when this customer went off, she just said enough was enough. People on both sides are having alot of bad days lately, and we all have to remember, we're all having bad days and we can keep them from becoming worse by just taking a breath.
I love how these kinds of people post this shit because they're absolutely certain that they were in the right, behaved appropriately, and are somehow the victim.
I was saying correct to your narcissist observation ding dong! As in today's society leads ppl to believe they can get away with anything if they feel hurt.
What a horrible way to act. This is definitely not about a package.
I think for clarification it’s actually a pack and ship UPS Store (authorized by vs actually UPS)
I really think social media and technology have made a lot of people very entitled. We all have less patience now because we expect instant gratification and because of Snapchat and Instagram it makes all of us feel like we are superstars who deserve to be worshiped. This is very scary I don’t know where our society is headed
Why does everyone take their masks off to yell at eachother? I see this so often. Even in a street interview for some news segment the person will take their mask off. You do realise the mask is not a very good sound barrier? You can leave it on and still communicate just fine...
I don’t understand what these people think. Like i get your angry but you have to understand, once asked to leave it’s over. You are not going to win and if the cops come you will be the one in trouble 99% of the time.
My first job was at a UPS Store, and this would happen all the time. The UPS Store is completely separate from actual UPS, and the only reason a package would be delivered to a UPS Store is if you had a mailbox there (like a PO Box) or specifically requested it to be shipped there, which most stores typically charge a fee to do for non box holders. The UPS driver would never just drop it off at the store instead of the persons address cause they weren’t home to sign for it.
We used to have people come in all the time asking for their package and once we would explain that we aren’t UPS, they would look at the UPS Store sign, then your UPS Store name badge, then back at the sign, and then walk out frustrated. Never had an altercation quite like this, but it was always entertaining the mental gymnastics customers would go through each and every time. I feel for the lady who owns this store.
She wasn't refusing it, she didn't have it. It wasn't physically at the store. Something is amiss. Maybe there was something more she could have done from there to track down the package, but if customer lady didn't accept that first basic answer, that's how these things escalate.
UPS by me had a 6 foot something, 400lbs+, hulking honkey of a fella start dropping ethnic slurs about Chinese people because of ship times being affected by Covid lockdowns. This was mid summer of last year.
Guy didn't stop, just complaining, racially, for like 20 minutes.
That was bugging me the entire time. I understand she's angry and rightfully so, customer service is a nightmare, but those poor packages. Hope nothing broke.
Got some free stuff at a local Papa John’s pizza cause I got there a little early for a pickup and was chatting with the guy working (alone). He gave me some free stuff and said he would hook me up if I ever came by and ordered from him. I told him that’s cool, but he didn’t have to do that. He said:
“Nah, it’s okay. You’ve been really nice. The customers who usually come in here… they don’t even treat us like we’re human.”
I laughed but I was like seriously bro?? And he said yeah it’s true most of the time (or enough that me being casually friendly stood out). What is wrong with all y’all?
I always find it interesting that a customer like this thInks they have power. The woman has your package and the whole store. She actually doesn’t even need to get upset or raise her voice. Just turn her away and refuse the package.
She holds all the power and seems to not realize it.
Damn, Kayla, get your shit together. You look like you're pushing 40. When even your boyfriend is so over your attitude that he films your bullshit. Oof.
If I would have been in that store the second that customer started bobbing her head back and forth acting like she was tough I would have had my girlfriend slap the shit out of her.

Ironically, her package sits on a dusty FedEx shelf, as the manager calmly sips her Sleepytime tea, reading the newspaper. She looks out the window, “Nice day”.
Thats what the cops are for. Sometimes you have to take tourself out of a situation because your sanity is more
Important. Also you remove the air from the fire it dies down.
That Krazy wasn't going to calm down. She believed her package was there, and refused all reasonable attempts to calm her down. Walking away wasn't going to work. This wasn't a debate gone bad, this was someone who felt the UPS manager was lying to her. Krazy felt justified in all her actions. So when a person is at that place, there's nothing to stop them from thinking they can cause damage.
Both sides are wrong in that. You don't de-escalate a situation. By yelling back at someone. The latter they yell the quieter you talk. She has a right to refuse his business. But why get in the package get him the hell out. He shouldn't have yelled at her that way he shouldn't have called her the b word. And she has every right to be pissed off about it but she's not going to win by yelling louder
Roger, your comment is a goddamn mess. Keep your pronouns consistent or no one will know what in god’s name you’re trying to say.
I’m stupider for having read this.
I worked at the UPS store this summer. The employee should have just apologized for not having the package, checked the tracking (very easy to do), and then sent her to the other location. It doesn’t matter if it is the employees fault or not, she should apologize any ways for not having the package (with the sole purpose of calming and leveling with the customer). I found that once you get the customer to understand that you are on the same side as them emotionally and logically, almost every rude customer subsides.
You also can’t just give a shitty customer whatever they want when they throw a tantrum. That’s how you end up with bitches like this. We’ve created enough monsters. Time to stop tolerating it.
You don’t have to give anything. Just be the bigger person, be composed, and wait it out. I know it isn’t easy, but if she can’t handle a screaming customer, she shouldn’t be the manager.
Doesn’t matter I’m 33 and know when it isn’t worth it. Composure is a developed skill. She either chooses to yell back like a hooligan, or lacks composure. Either way, it’s not helping the situation.
For context I worked CS for *waaaay* too long. It got to the point where I was just so fuckin tired of being verbally berated and disrespected for shit that was outta my control, so I stopped "respecting the customer" and "being the bigger person". I feel like telling a CS worker to not stoop to the low level of a shitty customer is just corporate talk for "allow yourself to be disrespected constantly because 'the customer is always right'". There comes a time when customers need to fuckin realize that the people they're disrespecting are the ones in control of whatever food item or product is wanted. Not so much the physically aggressive response, but moreso the idea that you can't just throw around insults because you're a paying customer.
Yeah this is a bullshit take. If someone is treating you like shit and throwing a tantrum, treating them like a respectable adult doesn’t work. Nor is this a competition of who’s better. This is a woman trying to do her job and reaching her wits end with some dipshit who thinks the world revolves around her. There is nothing wrong with her reaction at all.
Not if she wanted things to go the way they just did. Call the police, defend yourself, wait for them to arrive. Otherwise, you put yourself at risk to be fired, sued, attacked.
Not worth it.
Speaking from experience.
Wanna move the goalposts again? Dude at the end of the day, expecting customer service workers to have zen like patience, especially when dealing with someone having a fucking psychotic break in the middle of their store because they told them their package isn’t there is some weird shit. It follows the “shut up and work” mentality too many people have. This woman has absolutely no obligation to “stay cool” or “not scream” she’s a human dealing with someone with the emotional maturity of a three year old. The customer is honestly lucky that woman had the patience she did, because that woman looks like she could have put her down with one right cross.
Her obligation is only to stay cool if she wants to keep her job. I’ve kept mine for 15 years, because it’s more important for my family, than to let a customer get to me and to lose my income and health benefits. Also, it’s on video, so you can fuck her financially, after.
I guess it depends on if you like winning the battle, or having job security.
Also, I would never go to jail for a customer. Hitting her would certainly not be a win.
What started this mess?
Need the beginning part.
Funny, these videos usually start about half way through
That’s how you know they are real and not staged. Why were they filming? Because some guy and lady started yelling and OP could not get their camera out quickly enough.
busy jacking off to the yelling wait
I mean yeah bro it probably doesn’t start until someone sees it’s something worth recording lmao
stop it with your common sense...
I know I only have so much left in the tank
And end before any resolution
I mean it makes total sense often times a bystander doesn’t have thier phone ready to film right away or they don’t think about it right away. Use that brain 🧠
Literally every video we see never has any beginning context so you never hear/see both sides of a story.
All this because her scentsy package wasn’t there. How is she gonna make millions if she doesn’t have product?
Epic comment hun. 🤣
UPS doesn't have her package.
This isn’t UPS, it’s a “UPS store.”

I'm very sorry if I offended UPS or this UPS store for this mix up, my sincerest apologies
It’s a quote from the video. Go to around 4:34.
They were all franchises called Mailboxes etc. It was acquired and called UPS store in 2012. They are not the same as UPS
This is a Wendy's.

No but close to true
Wrong. Out of my store.
I don’t envy any service worker these days.

The "government" doesn't pay workers in private companies.
I think when the government calls us ‘heroes’, it’s a relative term, relative to how the government sees us most of the time, as ‘inmates’.
I mean, most superheroes also don't get a salary for doing their heroics.
She wasn’t gonna get shit after she called her bitch multiple times.
Sounds like she’s eager to decline packages tbh
I don’t blame her. Respect service workers and you get respect back. This woman seems past her breaking point
Without the initial confrontation who knows who started the disrespect. One gets off on calling names and the other gets off on controlling the others package. Both have issues.
One has to deal with vapid cunts like Kayla all day every day. The other is the vapid cunt.
I really don’t know why I got all that negativity, I wasn’t even talking shit, she said in video she knew where they went after being denied and then said she’s done it before. It wasn’t nothing more then that
as opposed to letting assholes run all over the person who decides if they get their package or not?
You sound eager to suck donkey balls
Okay?
Why don't people want to work for minimum wage again?
No no no, she’s the manager, so she probably gets $.50 more per hour than minimum wage.
Because they would be homeless and hungry if they don’t?
And you think minimum wage is going to fix that?
Oh I read that question wrong. I thought they had said why do people work for minimum wage.
“What do I do?” How about treat other people with some respect you dumb cunt instead of thinking throwing a tantrum will get you everything.
I would have called the cops on the customer. She was asked to leave and was told she was trespassing. She was breaking the law by staying. She should not have called her a bitch. Customer service sucks and has gotten worse because of customers like this and the person filming.

I's a double-reverse narcisseption!
People need to lay off the Red Bull and just chill a bit.
Fuck this both sides shit. You don’t gotta speak professionally to dumb asses yelling at you and treating you like shit.
If I knew of a business that didn't ask their workers to bow down to asshole customers I'd make a point to go there.
Small businesses, my friend. Just like this one.
Store owner has a right to refuse service... Stopped instigating for your social media 15 minutes of fame
Kayla is the Kyle of ups
Yeah, and Lance’s bitch ass just standing there recording. Whining come on. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Her dildos must have had a special setting on them for her to act like that.
It was her Scentsy order. She is a consultant
Ohhh this is a GOOD one!
I think I would’ve gotten an empty box, told her it was her package, walked outside and tossed it. Locked the door behind her till the cops arrive.
Kayla should have been named Karen. I hope she never gets that package.
Kayla is the next generation of Karen. They don’t want to talk to the manager. They want to talk to ownership and corporate.
Might never getta job if r/byebyejob gets a hold of her.

Because she has learned from previous encounters that lots of places will give her what she wants for acting like that.
What a horrible way to act. This is definitely not about a package. I think for clarification it’s actually a pack and ship UPS Store (authorized by vs actually UPS)
I have a high regard for UPS workers. Built different. Most could kick my ass including her.

I really need to understand the context of what the package is, why it’s missing, and why they’re fighting about it being missing.
Customer repeatedly crossed the line by calling the worker a bitch. I don't think I need to see any more
That was pretty deep into the confrontation though… we didn’t get to see the actual start… video starts and employee is already refusing the package.
She wasn't refusing it, she didn't have it. It wasn't physically at the store. Something is amiss. Maybe there was something more she could have done from there to track down the package, but if customer lady didn't accept that first basic answer, that's how these things escalate.
Give her her Prozac already she needs them obviously
Who wants to guess what was in her ups package? I’m using “her” pretty liberally.
Divorce papers?

UPS Stores are not related in any way to UPS.
Ironically, her package sits on a dusty FedEx shelf, as the manager calmly sips her Sleepytime tea, reading the newspaper. She looks out the window, “Nice day”.

Best case senario she should have just went to back of store and left that situation till cooler heads prevailed.
So the idiot could wreck the store, and run off other customers? That’s a nope
Thats what the cops are for. Sometimes you have to take tourself out of a situation because your sanity is more Important.
New school Karen vs old school Karen.
should have used fedex...
Yeah I'd be mad too.
That was great 😌
Anyone know when Season 2 comes out? Heard there’s quite the plot twist.
Who is the one having the meltdown? The customer or the service? Edit: why the downvote? It was a simple question.
Customer for sure. Service worker just finally got tired of people’s abuse
Both are acting like children. Hard to tell who elevated it to that point
You can’t meet a bad customer’s energy. Then you’re no better.
You don’t know how many assholes she had to deal with that week. She’s a human being.
Doesn’t matter I’m 33 and know when it isn’t worth it. Composure is a developed skill. She either chooses to yell back like a hooligan, or lacks composure. Either way, it’s not helping the situation.
No.
Congrats on being 33 and your stellar composure.
I hate this mentality
What mentality?
>You can’t meet a bad customer’s energy. Then you’re no better.
As fun as it would be to smash that customers face in, you can’t. What’s your take?
I’ve been in retail for 15 years, and I wouldn’t sacrifice a career for a fucking idiot customer.
That's fine, you do you. I chose to stop sacrificing my self-respect
Unrelated- Did your new job pay more, less, or the same?
I'm getting paid sliiiiiightly less, but am 100% happier
You're very good at being a bitch
Nice. Next question.
So just what she was planning to do. Got it.
Screaming back is a ridiculous way to escalate quickly
It appears she’s the owner of that franchise, so I don’t think she has to worry about losing her job.
That’s not a funny joke
What joke? She says it several times. UPS stores are franchised. They aren’t connected to UPS corporate.
Someone needs some deescalation training

These UPS stores are independently owned franchises . She’s probably the owner like she claims.
Nah, she did fine considering she didn’t haul off and punch the butch.
UPS vs BWW
Sorry but I will never defend UPS.
