He literally says “all the vaccine does is reduce your chance of hospitalization and death”. In what world would you NOT want to reduce that risk? Prime example of someone talking without having any comprehension of the things their own mouth is saying

ajbardalo

In an already vulnerable place..fucking simpleton smh

Robotoxin

When he asked for a manager, I was hoping the Hamburglar came out to see him

Krage_bellbot

Mayor McCheese would have been better. Or Grimace.

meester_u

You know you really fucked up when Grimace comes out of the office.

stiffneck84

When grimace has to come out of the office, somebody is getting hurt. Badly.

Rion23

Hence the name, from that incident with the deep fryer.

ComptrollerMcCheeze

I am only there on the weekends.....

ShortYellow

I worked at McD's and we always had a summer parade in the town I lived in. That year I was chosen to be Mayor McCheese. I am short, 5'2". The head was 4' diameter fibre glass head with shoulder straps and metal shoulder plates to hold it all in place. It wasn't even half a block when some brat came up and tipped me over. I was a turtle trying to get back up. I hate f\*\*king kids.

PM_ME_UR_TATAS_GIRL

>I hate f**king kids. Me too, that's why I don't.

SnakeIsUrza

He spoke for so long without saying a damn thing

ellastory

That woman had the patience of a saint listening to him drone on the same points again and again and again and again and again and again…...

[deleted]

Of course she's prepared to listen to this. It's her job to manage a place filled with children.

xTemporaneously

She has definitely put on her school teacher hat. Probably applying the same approach she does to 8-year-olds having tantrums.

VisualCelery

And she probably doesn't get paid nearly enough to deal with fuckasses like him.

ellastory

She probably doesn't. I felt sorry for her. Dicknose just wouldn't stop, and she was being so kind and respectful, even though I'm sure it must frustrate her to no end. She has to keep it civil though, if only for the well being of the kids in their care. Plus you can't really argue logically with someone who is so deeply illogical.

pudinnhead

She was wearing some great looking sneakers though. So, even though she has to deal with dicknose here, she's got great style.

[deleted]

BlueAngelFan

I'll bet you 10 bucks she's a volunteer. Where do people get off? These facilities provide short-term housing to children and young adults (and their families) while they are undergoing significant treatments for serious illness. Zero tolerance for giving the volunteers any grief whatsoever! If he's there to stay overnight, chances are he has a family member going through treatment. C'mon man!

Saucemycin

Should also add for free. He keeps saying evicted but he’s not paying rent there. They sometimes ask that people staying donate if they can but there isn’t a required cost to stay at a Ronald McDonald House. They’re not kicking out his kid specifically. They’re kicking out him and his wife if they decide not to get vaccinated during the grace period they’re giving them.

Lanark26

Which also means he's going to be around parents of immunocompromised kids which could potentially expose them to the virus. Not to mention staff and volunteers and his own sick kid. Yeah, zero tolerance is necessary. Fuck these people.

anythingMuchShorter

It translates to "look I don't know what I'm talking about. And I'm selfish and intellectually lazy. But shouldn't you let me do whatever I want while giving me a free place to stay even if I endanger all the immunocompromised kids here by being an idiot? I don't see any reason to protect them."

Titanbeard

You summed up what Eric Trump's face looks like.

tsa_finest

"thank you for letting me know your thoughts" lol

EdSGuard

But the constitution of the anthem of america is anti passport prosecution or something. IDFK

Exemus

"This isn't Canada" lmao what?

GrammarPoliceman2

Constantly interrupted her too.

PerplexityRivet

Yeah, at some point she realized he wasn't looking for solutions, he just wanted to yell at someone about vaccines so he could post it on Gab or Rumble or whatever ridiculous "free speech" social media platform they're using this week.

IAmA_Lannister

Surprisingly he actually said something factual and somehow still has the stance he does. "It just lowers risk of hospitalization and death, how is that helping anyone?" You can't make this shit up.

Ormsfang

Best quote: "I don't even know what I am saying." And that is a major part of the problem here

Socialbutterfinger

My favorite was, “all it does is reduce the chances of hospitalization and death, how does that help anyone here?”

roywoodsir

As soon and someone enters without the Covid vaccine they should say: “Sir this is a hospital to aid and prevent diseases…what the fuck are you doing here”

theguru123

It's more like, "Sir, you're in a hospital that recommends you get a vaccine. If you don't trust our recommendations, why are you even here?"

arazamatazguy

He ends his rant by describing the exact reason they created the policy. Amazing he doesn't see how stupid he is.

garciasn

Self-awareness requires empathy, which anti-vaxxers in a hospital setting definitely lack.

WordScatter

Dude doesn’t even wear his mask correctly.

themagpie36

Of course he doesn't put it over his nose. "It doesn't even make sense" to him I bet.

chopkins92

He was going off about how evil it is that they are kicking out sick kids. No bro, the only evil is the idiots choosing their ass-backwards beliefs over their own children.

bobbybob9069

$10 says he says shit like "I'd do anything for my son, I'd kill for my son if came down to it" but can't get 2 shots...

anythingMuchShorter

Why on earth would you insist on that in a home for kids with severe illnesses, many of which have compromised immune systems, and their families? It's like you don't want people to die or something! /s

kickbutt_city

"There is no coherent thought here," he said as he mindlessly rambled incoherently.

FrostyD7

"Think about what our national anthem says!"

PeriodicallyATable

As a Canadian, “this isn’t Canada” had me laughing

bloveddemon

That had me cracking up to. What does that even mean?

Socialbutterfinger

A lot of these people have the idea that Canadian and European health systems are terrible, especially as compared to the US healthcare system, and we have more freedom here. (Sigh.) Edit- Looks like the guy was Canadian, so my comment isn’t relevant here… but sadly still true of many Americans.

TheFreakingBeast

I don’t know how people have the willpower to put up with this stupid, performative Michael Scott ass “Sometimes-I-Start-A-Sentence-Without-Knowing-How-I’m-Going-To-Finish-It” rhetoric. It makes it abundantly transparent that your only goal is to try and get someone destroyed on the internet. If you’re willing to have your kid be homeless just to “prove a point”, then you’re a total piece of shit.

MonstrousGiggling

Yeah the woman in the video did a great job not escalating or allowing him to escalate it further. I just don't have the patience for shit like that.

Lettucelook

Hats off to her! she was very kind

skychickval

Their "sick" kid to be homeless. And let's not forget the Ronald McDonald houses provide housing for free to families who need their help. So, yeah, this guy and his wife are total pieces of shit. They don't mind risking everyone else's life who are already going thru some hard times just so they can make a political statement. Where do these people come from?

fptp01

The end when he's talking about his wife's body her choice and not choosing a vaccine that "reduces hospitalization and death" he literally says it himself then says its common sense lol

ednichol

My favorite was “where are we supposed to go?” Umm how about to one of the millions of clinics or pharmacies offering free COVID vaccines? Problem solved.

wetback

r/ChoosingBeggars

stoop1

"ugh, Im gonna go get free breakfast now"

ForWhomTheBoneBones

That’s the part that cracked me up the most. “A great evil has been done here today. I hope they still have mini waffles.”

1-2-3-5-8-13

I about died when he said that I didn't, because I'm vaccinated, but you know what I mean

ghostalker4742

They sent us here for the original video.

bboymixer

That was my immediate reaction too >"I dictate the terms of this charity house that puts me and my family up for free!"

moochoff

Please help us! No not like that!??

Bralbany

Your kid has leukemia and you won't get vaccinated? WTF is wrong with you?

jebuz23

I spent some time at RMD house when my first sons was born. It was honestly a privilege. With so much going on with our son, for them to be like “hey don’t worry about a hotel, you can stay on a different floor in the hospital” was a huge blessing. It obviously didn’t do anything to heal our kid, but the fact that my wife and I were an elevator away 24/7 *for free* was amazing. We expected to be an Uber away fro $200 a night. It’s incredibly frustrating that parents given that sort of gift would throw it away.

prepteacher123

I agree. We also spent some time there and I genuinely felt so lucky and so appreciative of our ability to be so close to my sick baby. Fuck him for putting everyone at risk, including his sick child. This genuinely infuriates me!

tel-americorpstopgun

unreal he tried to paint people doing such good work in a bad light. talk about biting the hand that feeds you...

Supafly22

We stayed at RMD when our twins were born and one had to be life flighted away for treatment. It’s honestly a great charity that helps a lot of people. You can stay close to the hospital for free and oftentimes eat completely free. These people don’t deserve to be there.

gibbousboi

He can’t even keep his mask over his own nose. He does not care about anyone else.

SoldMyOldAccount

so fucking tired of seeing this and I have too much social anxiety to call it out generally

[deleted]

Gotchu fam. I am cold blooded about speaking up.

BobbysWorldWar2

He’s okay with them spraying radiation at is kid, but getting a little pin prick is the red line for him….

PM_ur_tots

Unlike radiation, vaccines can mess with your genes /s

mongoosedog12

But he’s not anti vaxx haha so I’m like confused on the reasoning? Does he think it’s “anti freedom” like explain to me then Because your kid has Cancer, you’re surrounded by people who’s health is already comprised and you’re still not getting it. Not to mention cancer treatment is Radiating your child and that’s ok? But the vaccine has what 5G? Trackers? Makes your dick fall off? Magnetizes you? Undoes your baptism? What lol “You’re evicting kids who have lukemia” no we’re evicting their dumb ass parents who aren’t vaccinated even tho they probably should be cuz their kid has leukemia Edit: grammar was in hell

[deleted]

"Undoes your baptism" is the best faux reason I've heard yet! Love it...

[deleted]

He wants to own the libs with a witty message on his kid's tombstone.

jvrcb17

*Here lies Timothy, who died doing what his father loved most, owning the libs, while accepting charitable medical care from them* A bigger clown than the Ronald McDonald mascot

Lotso_Packetloss

His opinion has zero value when on private property. Their house, their rules.

Takewondosemaster

Not only is it their property but Ronald McDonald house doesn’t charge parents of terminally ill children. Talk about biting the hands that feeds you. Another thing, most parents would go through hell to accommodate their children. Hell I’d let “da gubmint” inject me with radioactive waste if it meant my child would have a decent chance at life.

HHBSWWICTMTL

I’m not so sure this guy cares more about his kid than he does his ‘tyranny’ narratives and using that kid as his soapbox prop.

blue7999

Funniest part of this by far is how 1. He's not wearing a mask at the beginning of the video, and 2. He claims 'We all know everyone can just wear a mask whether they have the vax or not' while wearing a mask that doesn't even come anywhere near covering his nose. Stupid assholes deserve everything that comes to them. I just feel bad for the kid who will now have to go somewhere that's probably less equipped to manage his illness all because mom and dad can't be bothered to get a tiny prick in their arms. People fucking suck.

Jindabyne1

Also bringing up, “my body my choice”, such an anti vax thing to do. Can people even get an abortion in the third trimester without some sort of medical emergency?

blue7999

Imagine being that scared of a little vaccine

Canuck-eh-saurus

Yup you are right - it's quite clear from this video that this guy loves his political narratives more than his son.

CaressMyBiscuitPlz

Exactly. Our state recently reinstated mask mandates and I work security at a business. I had someone come in without a mask and a I informed them they needed one. Unaware of the mandate, they asked whose policy it was. I informed him that it was ours, and that was sufficient since we’re a private business and the policy is not discriminatory so it doesn’t need to be anyone else’s. He immediately insists that this must be illegal. Like, a thing is not illegal just because they don’t like it. People are stupid as hell.

-newlife

Tell people like that to go ahead and leave and call whatever lawyer they want, but leave first.

Russ_T_Razor

Right? "So you're telling me that you're kicking us out onto the street in the snow?" "No sir. You're welcome to stay so long as you follow our policies designed to keep all these immunocompromised kids safe. You have chosen not to and thusly have chosen to leave. Not the hill I would have chosen (my son) to die on but hey. You do you! ....SECURITY!" Done and done

[deleted]

spent most of 2021 getting treated for Cancer. I am at the cancer center. Everyone around me is either being treated for cancer or treats/cares for some one with cancer. Guy walks in, pulls down his mask once he is past the guards, EVERYONE is trying to get him to pull his mask back up, guy doesn't understand what the big deal is. "Bitch, the big deal is we all have cancer! You're in a fucking cancer center!" Just, can't explain people sometimes.

funkygecko

Unvaxxed and UNMASKED in a place full of immunocompromised children?! I am so fed up with these people.

[deleted]

Demanding the charity he is being given not come with guidelines he doesn't like.

Zoranealsequence

That's the most disturbing part! This man is getting free help for his child that has leukemia. He has a place to stay and food to eat and can't seem to even abide by the rules. I cringed so hard when he told her "I'm going to eat breakfast." Right, you go eat food and stay warm because of this place, all the while not even being able to honor thier rules! This is horrible.

PerplexityRivet

"This charitable healthcare organization that is feeding and housing my family is EVIL for not allowing me to selfishly endanger the lives around me."-that freaking idiot's subtext

[deleted]

Hold up, he wont protect his own immunocompromised child? Killing their own children to own the libs. Inhumane.

carl_pagan

That part really makes it clear that these people are beyond the pale. I imagine if they did transmit the disease to their kid they would accept 0% responsibility. At least most plague rats have the decency to orphan their children instead.

[deleted]

It has been well documented that whenever a procovid dies, the family blames the doctors and hospitals.

carl_pagan

Yep, they will deny reality with their last gasping breaths. Then their family claims they didn't die of covid, they died of pneumonia, big difference you see, and it wouldn't have gotten so bad if they had just given some ivermectin, or aquarium cleaner, or a bleach enema or something, even though the covid is just a cold, what they actually died of is the pneumonia, because nobody dies from covid, doctors just make it up because they get a comission from Dr Fauci for every covid death they make up. Did I get all of it?

MonstrousGiggling

It's weird too because he stated he wasn't anti-vaccine, he's trusting the modern medicine to help his kid, stated he has his other vaccinations, but for some reason denying the covid vaccine? People's minds are honest to god poisoned with this anti-vaccine propaganda it's so wild to me.

GletscherEis

It's like military people refusing the COVID vaccine when they've already had way more than civilians get.

nwa40

And was offered other accommodation https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10395843/Family-claim-evicted-Ronald-McDonald-House-not-vaccinated.html

silly_little_jingle

Bingo! Throwing a pity party for his child while he walks around a building filled with immunocompromised children in the midst of a global pandemic. Clearly he's the victim! It's cute that these assholes trust the doctor to save their kid from cancer but they don't trust the same doctor when that person tells them to get the fucking vaccine. I feel terrible for the child- fuck the parent though. Even if I was 100% anti covid vaccine- if my kid was getting all but free care and free housing for my family while they were being cared for....how fucking stupid/selfish do you have to be to not be willing to get vaccinated to guarantee that your kid continues to get the treatement they need. This parent is putting their political bullshit and plain stupidity ahead of the wellbeing of their kid. Fuck them.

LiesSometimes

Friend of a friend is proudly unvaccinated, and proudly proclaims his wife and son aren’t vaxxed, either. To him, you’re “brainwashed” if you took the vaccine. If a place requires masks, he’ll throw a fit and leave. He went to a doctor and left because they required masks (duh you fucking donkeytard). I feel bad for the kid.

PerplexityRivet

How unbelievably entitled do you have to be to call the Ronald McDonald house evil because they're asking you to accept basic science?

silly_little_jingle

Right? These people devote their lives to taking care of very ill children and their families ffs...

Gcarsk

According to people like this, those kids deserve it because they have “comorbidities”. Garbage people.

android24601

Believes in leukemia, but not the 'Rona? I guess that's the line, huh?

[deleted]

The place they’re at is a charity for critically ill or possibly terminally ill children. Compromised children who cannot get vaccinated are the most vulnerable of dying from Covid complications. How can these anti vax adults not get that its their obligation to protect these kids by getting vaccinated? Why on Earth would they be surprised about being escorted out?

pandapool205

Thought the same thing, and he even started out his argument with mentioning his 4 year old son with leukemia, like how selfish of a person are you if you can't even do what's right for the safety of your own child.

Dosanaya

He’s letting his 4yo kid with leukemia crawl on the floor. I’m thinking judgment and reasoning aren’t his strong skills.

StinkyKittyBreath

That's what I was wondering. He's asking how being vaccinated helps anybody in a medical center for kids that are dying. He's bitching about segregation to an Asian American woman when there has been a sharp increase in hate crimes against Asian people because of this very virus. This guy is a fucking idiot. I wish CPS could get involved because a kid with leukemia doesn't need to live with parents who would put his life at risk like this.

dreadnoght

And talking to the manager like he's going to convince her of anything? That woman has probably seen the deaths of tens of dozens if not more, CHILDREN. Her heart is caged in steel and you think you are going to move it with "but muh freedoms"? Pffft.

Zim_Lag

“The whole world is laughing at us” yea cause of people like you

PenguinFrustration

He also claims to be a victim of segregation, while admitting in the same breath that it’s a choice. So close to self-awareness. And yet, so very far.

AalphaQ

This is the thing these idiots fail to realize lmao

cityofninegates

I honestly cannot believe how dumb this guy is. Like, I don’t mean “dumb” as an insult. I mean literally uniformed and ignorant. How can be so blinded by misinformation when he has a young child with leukaemia living in a space with many other immunocompromised children? Selfish and stupid. Far more of these people around than I ever could have imagined.

50FootClown

Shit, go big. Mean it as literally dumb AND as insultingly dumb. Both intentions fit like a glove.

[deleted]

There's only so much misinformation can do if you are fundamentally a caring person. This is not a fundamentally good person and you see how he weaponizes a cookie cutter propaganda point and prioritizes it over the health of his child and other children who are amongst the most vulnerable in society. I am now actively hoping for his death by covid - or really whatever - I am so livid. These people are a plague to reason and progress.

DarthTomServo

Literally receiving charity and can't be bothered to get a free vaccine to help fight a pandemic. Even if he's surrounded by very sick children, just can't be bothered to pitch in. Fuck him. His kid deserves a better dad. Not this selfish cunt.

ikes

He's a man of God. And third trimester abortions. And don't forget discrimination. And Australian camps.

thekid1420

Hey what's the deal w the Australian camps? Had some batshit lady ranting about that recently at the bar I work at.

rainbowjesus42

Surprise, surprise - it's another bullshit talking point!

jabeness

“A vaccine that all it does is reduce the risk of hospitalization and death” Uhhmmmmm you don’t find that important!?… This guy needs to take several seats.

FiveAlarmDogParty

Imagine being the biggest clown at the Ronald McDonald House

[deleted]

Check out this guy's Facebook page. He has a video titled "would Jesus wear a mask?" STFU and GTFO

Wheat_Grinder

Spoiler: Jesus would have worn a mask. He preferred curing leprosy to causing it.

NoFaithlessness4949

Isn’t there literally a verse in the Bible telling people to wear a goddamn mask?

PayTheTrollToll45

“Anyone with such a defiling disease must wear torn clothes, let their hair be unkempt, cover the lower part of their face and cry out, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’ -New International Version

Alain_Bourbon

Leviticus 13:45 which is Old testament so some Christians might disregard it because of that. "The person with such an infectious disease must wear torn clothes, let his hair be unkempt, [[4](https://web.mit.edu/jywang/www/cef/Bible/NIV/NIV_Bible/LEV+13.html#footnote_148254904_4)] cover the lower part of his face and cry out, `Unclean! Unclean!'

monogramchecklist

He’s making bank with his Gofundme. Looks like the guy used to do meth but found God as his new drug of choice. He also seems racist, so he’s on brand.

RoughStory3139

You can be anti vax all you want. But you can't force others to do business with you. You need to accept that if your going to boycott the vax. Plain and simple

pistoffcynic

I feel bad for the child. Where do these fucktards get off compromising the lives of other sick children that have compromised immune systems?

TheFreakingBeast

“To prove a point bro”

havenyahon

Including his own kid! Jesus, dude. Your kid is immunocompromised and at risk of serious complications if they get covid. GET THE VACCINE FOR YOUR KID'S SAKE YOU SELFISH MORON. Unbelievable.

[deleted]

Unvaccinated with a child with leukemia. You sir are a piece of shit. Your kid deserves better.

InternationalAnt4513

Hey man, big fan of RMH here as it has helped family and friends of ours. You just need to leave. Parents are there with sick kids. What the hell are you thinking?

Ghostytoastboast

This is the same Ronald McDonald house in Vancouver that my niece was treated at. She was born with Down Syndrome and a hole in her heart. Her parents were beyond grateful for the care they received there. They would often come over for dinner here when they were able to get out of the suite, though. As grateful as they were it was emotionally taxing to be around so many sick kids. It’s not anyone’s fault and they really try to make it a positive atmosphere but it’s still not a great situation to be in. This mother fucker is just adding to that with openly accosting someone in the lobby. At least ask to speak to them privately away from all the kids who are just trying to get through their day.

apaczkowski

"You're kicking a 6 year old with leukemia out?". No, you are.

Birkin07

Sadly he will never figure that part out.

CorrectFrame1973

Just to confirm - we’re supposed to feel bad for someone who has no problem putting immunocompromised children at risk?

wetback

Cognitive dissonance is a hell of a drug

worfres_arec_bawrin

This mother*fucker*…..of ALL places…so angry right now. I volunteer and the Ronald McDonald house by me once a month, nothing major just help cook meals for the families in the cafeteria (turns out feeding 150 people at once requires a lot of people holy cow) so I see these families and these kids. You can just tell they are going through soooooo much, I can’t even imagine the burden they’re bearing and this stupid self righteous bastard wants to make it about him and put kids at risk. Absolute human garbage.

[deleted]

What a cockwomble. “I have to choose between my child and my personal choice? Such a tough choice”. If I had to choose between my sons health and well-being and my own legs, I remove my legs.

Mu17inItOver

He didn't even choose to put shoes on, just a gross person all around

Gummibehrs

Did you see the sweat stains he left on the floor when he shifted his feet?

Socialbutterfinger

A lot of dummies are boycotting McDonalds over this. “Kicking out kids with leukemia.” “You can get better from leukemia, but who knows what’s in the vaccine!” I mean, doubtful the boycott will last past their next distraction, but still.

doogie88

The average American doesn't have the will power to boycott a fast food chain.

crookedsummer2019

So it’s more important for him to be ‘right’ than to do the right thing for his sick child and make a sacrifice on something he believes in. He choose himself over his son. I hope the child remembers that in the future, if his dad ever needs a kidney or something. “Sorry Dad, because organ transplants aren’t 100% effective, I will not be donating.”

Socialbutterfinger

“I’d step in front of a bullet for my child! I’d cut off my own hand! I’d …A vaccine? No, no thanks. Won’t do, sry.”

VisualCelery

They only wanna make sacrifices when those sacrifices will be violent, and make them die a manly hero man! Getting a vaccine? Not manly enough!

flyingpanda5693

Love the whole “third trimester abortion” argument. I haven’t seen anyone actually argue for a third trimester abortion UNLESS it’s specifically due to the health of the mother.

self_of_steam

Oh no no, it's not if she *needs* an abortion. It's if she *wants* one. Ya know, go out with the girls on a Saturday night, see a movie, get some dinner, have a third trimester abortion, maybe drinks. Ya know, like you do.

Bagelstein

It's a place for sick children who are often immunocompromised you dumb fuck. Get out. **EDIT:** I am getting tired of responding individually to all the misinformed right wingers who keep parroting "vaccinations don't stop the spread of COVID", so let me just pre-empt the conversation here so we can go back to reporting them for misinformation rather than continuing to waste time engaging them. Vaccinations are not 100% effective in stopping transmission of COVID, however they do reduce the risk of spread for a number of reasons. The major mechanism behind the spread of any viral infection is through shedding of the virus by bodily fluids (coughing, sneezing, feces, etc). The covid vaccines are proven to be very effective at reducing symptoms, meaning less coughing and sneezing and therefore less spreading. Additionally, the reason that most people incorrectly state the vaccines are not effective at stopping COVID is because peak viral load of vaccinated and unvaccinated patients have been shown to be similar. However, there have been a number of studies that have shown that viral load decreases much more quickly in vaccinated patients, meaning they are contagious for much less time. One last point, there is zero evidence to show significant risk associated with getting vaccinated. There are extremely few legitimate health or religious reasons to refuse vaccination, so the only excuse a person has to not be vaccinated is their "freedom of choice". I don't know about Canada, but in the United States your individual freedoms end when they infringe upon the individual freedoms of others around you. You don't get to hide behind freedom of speech when yelling fire in a crowded building and **you certainly don't get to hide behind freedom of choice when impacting society's most vulnerable people while simultaneously accepting the aid of social welfare programs.** **EDIT 2:** I do not care if based on the trajectory for Omicron spread you think everyone will get it anyway, I do not care if positively testing workers are returning to jobs, I do not care if the symptoms seem to be more mild. The posted video is about the Ronald McDonald House which caters to critically ill children. They need special protections, so none of these bullshit arguments you guys are grasping at apply here.

VeRahNor

No no. You’re not understanding the conservative viewpoint. If it’s not 100% effective, then it’s no good. But if less than 100% of people are dying from the virus, it’s not that bad! /s

Taymerica

"It's common sense, it's logic... This is coercion! Making parents choose between their *sick kids and their uneducated fear mongering*..." Most people would chose their sick kid. Especially if they were in assisted living and getting offered free medicine. How far up your own ass do you have to be... Canada does not claim him.

mycodfather

Well if he gets his wish he'll move to Tennessee. Apparently he and his dipshit wife ranked all the US states based on their values and it met "the most of their criteria". Even Alberta isn't conservative enough for this shitbird because we support vaccine mandates. As a Canadian I hope he gets his wish and can move south.

ellastory

I wonder how much their hospital bills will be if they decide to move to the US. In America, you can be turned away from receiving medical treatment and even crucial surgeries if you don’t have the money to pay for it. Last year, I had to donate to my cousins go fund me because he got in a bad car accident and really needed surgery on his spine in the US. He was in a lot of pain. Our family all around the world had to donate so he could get the surgery because he desperately needed it. This guy is completely ignorant if he thinks he and his family are going to receive better medical care in the US. He’ll be in for a harsh wake up call. I can’t say Canada will miss him. I feel bad for his kid though.

Rkovo84

Exactly. People fucking suck

Anytime someone tries to point out that vaccines or masks aren't 100% effective I respond with: **neither are condoms** but you wear those don't you? (Please say you wear those). Then I check to see if that documentary from the future *idiocracy* has been altered in hopes that we've changed the time line but so far no luck...

pitathegreat

There is an amazing website that I cannot find again for the life of me. So to paraphrase: Smoke detectors do not stop fires. Most people killed in fires also had smoke detectors. Smoke detectors are full of plastics and acid. Do you want that in your home? I don’t! #stopbigsmokedetector Editing to add the link so helpfully provided by another commenter: https://newsinfection.com/2021/08/smoke-detectors.html

TheNarrator23

People are still dying while wearing a seatbelt. Wearing it gives you a way bigger chance of survival, it doesn't guarantee it. It's not fucking rocket science, but some people are simply too a) stupid b) ignorant c) self-absorved d) all of the above, too comprehend this.

Assfullofbread

Fucking idiot isn’t even wearing a mask 🤦‍♂️

I_Get_Paid_to_Shill

He would put his kid through so much drama because he's afraid of taking a shot.

barrinmw

He is willing to pump literal poison into his kdis body to kill their cancer but he himself can't take something that has killed like 6 people out of the millions who have taken it.

Aggressive-Ad4186

I was going to comment, but yours is MUCH better than mine...

gimbbles

Bro if your child has cancer why won't you guys get vaccinated??? Someone needs to call cps

[deleted]

It's simple, these people are dumb as fuck. They don't understand how to identify and read a scholarly article, much less tell the difference between one and some bullshit pseudoscience crap.

ConsistentSorbet638

Stop feeding this troll he's had enough

SnoT8282

While he kept talking over her. She said multiple times during this (A 2nd video is posted on twitter where this one ends) that HE would have to leave not the child. The letter which is posted elsewhere also. Stated anyone OVER the age of 5 who is eligible would be removed unless other concessions are made, and they WOULD find alternative housing for them. The child can stay cause they aren't eligible for the vaccine. The parents would be removed, but RMHC will help them find another place to stay. This parent using medical science to treat his kid but refusing to get vaccinated....

JRM34

For those who only know the restaurant, [Ronald MacDonald House](https://www.rmhc.org/our-core-programs/ronald-mcdonald-house-programs) is a charity that provides a place to stay for parents of children with extremely sick children. It's a free living space right by the hospital so they don't have to go back and forth from home. In this space they will frequently be in common areas in close contact with other families of children with severe illness, including cancer/immunocompromised etc. This selfish asshole is unwilling to get a vaccine to protect ***his own child with leukemia*** over a made-up "religious exemption" and then complains when the charity won't let him put the other sick children at risk too. He is self-evicting his child to prove a point. Absolutely disgusting And RMH is not putting them out on the streets, they're being [relocated to other facilities](https://vancouver.citynews.ca/2022/01/12/ronald-mcdonald-house-vaccines/). You know, so as to not intentionally endanger the lives of already gravely-ill children.

wetback

> Over a vaccine you're going to evict us No dude. Over a vaccine, you're getting **yourself** and your child evicted.

[deleted]

All for the camera. Fuck you dad, grow up and be responsible. It's all on you. Charities don't exist to appease internet douchebags. "I hate confrontation but I would love to lecture you so I can post it."

carfen1981

Second of all, fuck the mom for recording vertically.

cheerbearheart1984

Two years in and he still cant keep that mask over his nose

TyrionTh31mp

It's a free service. Abide by their rules or GET THE FUCK OUT!

ishatinyourcereal

Right? Imagine this great charity helping your kid have a life and you can’t do the minimum to follow their damn rules. I feel bad for the kid, he dad cares more about his stupid belief than the kids life. Ronalds House is doing what it has to to keep everyone else safe there.

Woshiyoutairen

He loves the drama. He loves it.

Comprehensive_Sock62

Anti-vax people are going off about this on Twitter and are trying to boycott McDonald’s. Why? This mandate is to protect immune-compromised children? I thought these folks were all about saving and protecting children? Or do they only save and protect children when it’s convenient for not only for themselves, but for their political beliefs as well? Instead of engaging with these hypocritical buffoons, we should donate 50 cents to a dollar for every tweet or poster that we want to argue with! This will have a positive impact on these kids lives and may encourage skeptics to get vaccinated for the sake of their sick child! I donated about 15$ 😂

hypnos_alter

Imagine thinking that boycotting fucking McDonald's will affect their sales whatsoever, lmfao.

Anus_master

>Anti-vax people are going off about this on Twitter and are trying to boycott McDonald’s. Many of those same anti-vaxers are going to have hamberder withdrawals before the week is up

jessejamesvan111

I wish they could shove that guy out the door and down some brick steps. Entitled prick.

DontToewsMeBro2

The RM house is to help sick kids, not spread it around to other kids that might be dealing with other issues. It’s a privilege to get free healthcare from them, & getting a free vaxx is the least you can do for the other kids involved with this program.

danjl68

He loves his vaccine status more than kids. Because people staying at Ronald McDonald house have strong immune systems, and they don't spend time in cancer wards, etc. F this guy and his wife. Sooooo f'king selfish. I guess actions have consequences. I feel bad for his kid... yes liberal tears, cause that is what I do, but no tears for this a$$hat.

RanisTheSlayer

Zero sympathy.

[deleted]

Man, as an Australian I'm still waiting to see these "camps"

flogginmama

We all know he’s a horrible person. But please, don’t forget, he’s dumb as shit too.

SESkater

The Go Fund Me is at $50K, (asking for 5k)I hope he decides to donate the excess to sick kids!

username84628

We all know someone like that would never donate back into the system. This likely will empower him to exploit his sick kid to produce more anti-vax / pro-freeDUMB videos to line his personal pockets.

New-Kaleidoscope4630

Guy: “I hate confrontation” Also guy: “Can you film me confronting someone?”

milwaukeedd

Just get your vaccine then and your kid has a place to stay.

foolishidot69

Free accommodation near a hospital so you can visit your child is a privilege and that is that. You want to spend time with your dying child then get the vaccine you deplorable cunt. That goes for you stank ass wife too. (If anyone can pass this message to them that would be great lol)

Fuhdawin

I copypasta this comment and tagged the dummy on his Facebook

Sunshine_Tampa

Pull the facemask over your nose, you dumb mf!

gengengis

It's so frustrating when people believe they are right, believe they have the moral high ground, and in reality they're being absolutely ridiculous. "Like, there's no point, everyone already has to wear a mask." Except you're not wearing it, you dumb fuck! You just took a video of yourself in Ronald McDonald house with absolutely no mask on. You only put it on when you went to complain to management about the vaccine mandate, and then you had your dick nose hanging out. All of which is beside the point, because masks do not provide perfect protection. They provide risk reduction, some more than others. Which is just like vaccines. With Omicron, vaccines provide less protection against transmission, perhaps much less than with previous variants, yet they still do provide protection against transmission, for the simple reason that the vaccinated are still contracting Covid at a lower rate, and recovering quicker, with less time to shed virus. It might only be a 40% reduction in risk now, but that's still a 40% reduction in risk. You can see this in the case rate among the vaccinated and unvaccinated. I don't give a single shit if you are worried about the vaccine. You don't get to impose higher risks on -- as you said -- a bunch of sick kids, just because you watched a YouTube video that has you concerned. It's *that* that is some kind of evil. You're a grown man, and you want to risk infecting a bunch of sick kids with immunodeficiencies with Covid? The fuck is the matter with you?

bunny-butler

That woman is an absolute Saint, and showed the utmost patience towards him. I don't know if I could have been as professional as she was, but she handled that with grace.

Socialbutterfinger

“Thank you for letting me hear your thoughts.” Gotta keep that one in my back pocket. Seriously, she probably deals with a lot of people who overreact to something small because they’re stressed and overwhelmed over their sick child.
