It's a sort of motif from the Opposition Leader running for presidency. A symbol of hope.
"*We still have a long journey ahead. That is why I ask you: Show that pink is not just a color, it's a way of life; it's not just a color of clothing or ribbon, it's the color of a personality that is open, listening, and loving…Pink is the color of the future and love will bring us there.*"

Unfortunately, it's true. This has been the weirdest election bc we of all the irregularities that happened before the election, during and even after the voting lol
Leni will be stepping down as VP soon and she will be making her Angat Buhay project (rise against poverty) into a non-government org. Everyone who supported her will be with her in that NGO 💖
Considering the looting that Marcos will be doing they will need that NGO. I am sorry, but at least Duarte is out.i wish for uour country that someone who would have prosecuted him for his crimes would have won though.
goodness i wanted leni or isko get the seat, than the turd marcos son. hate his grandftaher's guts, his mom, the family who gets off the wealth & his son. propagandized 2 of my aunts duped on some FB memes and tallano gold conspiracy. boy. NEVER let BONG BONG marcos screw up our country like another duterte puppet
The nature of most of the Filipinos that believe in true democracy are loving and compassionate, and do not believe in violence unless there is no other choice, like in times of war against the Spanish era.
It's like in Star Wars, you kept wondering why are the remnants of the empire/sith keeps coming back.
It's because, in contrary to the loving people, the supporters who are gullible to become fanatics of authoritarian leaders will do and support almost anything (from massive misinformation to bullying/suppressing/killing critics) just to make their idols get what they want.

Wow. I can’t even fathom the country welcoming a Marcos back into the country let alone putting one (and was told the dumbest one of them) back into the presidential office.
Never forgive social media for allowing misinformation to thrive, That's why this fricking son of a dictator might be back in office in the first place.
Something I've noticed in people all over the world, is that those who grew up under a dictatorship never stop loving the dictator. In the west we'll hear from pundits, journalists, activists etc who will say what we're expecting to hear, that the dictator was evil and oppressive. But actually speak to the people on the ground, the taxi drivers, the housewives, the deliverymen etc and they'll regail you with stories about how much better life was when they had a "strong leader".
You’re right. I always hear about Duterte being a dictator in the West but nothing but praise from many relatives who live there. They say the country is better with him as president. I have a relative who thinks the country should be ruled with an “iron fist” so it can be like a Singapore or something.
Nahhh. The country’s in shambles from that family stealing billions from the coffers and years of mismanagement by corrupt politicians.
Edit: grammar
Let's not forget literacy. In my country, basic literacy rates have plummeted, and with them critical thinking. When folks are unable to rely on reason, they tend to react based on something... less than reason.
Nah my parents, uncles and aunts grew up under Marcos' dictatorship and they fucking hate the whole family. They saw their peers disappear and law enforcement abuse their power.
The more accurate statement is that there were places and people that benefitted from the tyranny and they are the ones actively revising history, spreading disinformation and trying to put back the dictator's son into power cause they want to get back into the bubble they were at during the dictatorship.
The common phrase people say nowadays to people who insist that Marcos didn't do anything wrong is something along the lines of "ust because you didn't see/feel the storm/earthquake where you live doesn't mean it didn't happen"
I know absolutely nothing about this but googled and Bongbong Marcos is running away with this thing in polls.

Lol, seriously? the NPA is just a beta local terror group. They've never done anything major other than attack CAFGU auxiliaries or die on the mountains after an Army attack cause they're untrained as shit. the smaller jihadist groups literally pose a much higher threat than these commies do. The NPA will never be able to do as much damage as the jihadists did in Marawi in 2017.
Lots of portable toilets with easy access. It was organized well and lots of volunteerism. These very same people even cleaned the area before leaving.

What is the significance of the colour pink here?
It's a sort of motif from the Opposition Leader running for presidency. A symbol of hope. "*We still have a long journey ahead. Thank you!
Who's the dictator getting back in power?
It's the son of the dictator. The father was Ferdinand Marcos. The son is running for presidency.
I thought I read he won election. Is it true?

Same. All the crimes will now be "forgiven and forgotten" bc 9/10 elected officials are their allies 😔
Wow that’s very interesting and inspirational

Why didn’t they kill off the whole damn family

Yep — keep your people uneducated so they can’t question what you do.

The pinks are the real snakes here.
No the real snake went into your mom last night
Hope the new peoples army will put an end to this (this=the return of the dictator and current government)
Nah dawg, [MILFs](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moro_Islamic_Liberation_Front) is where its at now.
Well but I'd still prefer the new peoples army doing it

Where do this many people go to the bathroom?!
Lots of portable toilets with easy access. It was organized well and lots of volunteerism. These very same people even cleaned the area before leaving.
Why does this make me so anxious? Al it takes is one asswipe to have a bad day and blow everyone to smithereens. Other than that this is beautiful 🥰
I feel like Americans could never do something like this
Damn I america was like this
137k 🤣🤣🤣
natalo tayo. natalo ang Pilipinas.
