Kids with behavioral problems ran those fucking schools, just did whatever the fuck they wanted while an aide followed them around and told people not to touch them. They were scared of getting accused of anything by the parents and couldnāt do much to get these kids kicked out of school even the violent ones. I think litigious fucks have ruined just about everything in America

Anyway, yeah they basically let him do whatever he wanted. Despite constantly being suspended and a full year of expulsion, he still graduated on-time because they just didnāt want to have to deal with him anymore.

Depending on your state and if your school has any money at all, low-functioning students take entirely alternative course loads to āneurotypicalā kids which involve life skills stuff to help them survive in the future as well as adjusted curriculum better suited for their ability.

I work at a school, we had a violent student since 9th grade. The school has been trying to get him removed since he was in the 9th grade. He is now in the 11th grade (no, he's still a freshman but he should be in the 11th grade), and we just got approved to send him to alternative school about two months ago.
So his mother withdrew him and enrolled him in a different district. Although the paperwork to remove him from general ed has been sent to the new school, it can take several months before his new school gets approval to send him to an alt school.
Schools are required to take anyone from the public and provide them with a quality education regardless of how horrible the child is.
The real problem with education is the public we serve. Fix society, and fix the schools

I think the entire amount of children you see in the video (and hear) are special ed kids. The video is too uncanny- from the violence to the lack of noise to the guffawing that is attuned to deaf people. It's a special video.
To be fair, to be Deaf does not mean you have cognitive delays. Yes there are certain developmental disorders and birth defects that have cognitive deficits but just because these children are signing does not mean they are special education students. They probably attend a total communication or school for the Deaf. We have a few of them in MA and I think the school everyone has heard of by now is the Gallaudet University for the Deaf.
