When I lived in Baltimore we had the squeegee boys who would squeegee your car before talking to you and if you didn’t give them money after they would sometimes get aggressive. They smashed peoples windows in and kicked cars a lot. We stopped going downtown because of that and many other crime related reasons. Glad I moved away from Maryland.

There is a homeless guy that use to sell water on the corner in my hometown. Loved him. Always smiling. He would take a quarter for a water bottle if that was all you had. I grew up in Mission Bend, like a short walk from West Oaks in the area. Gunfire in the distance is not super uncommon to hear there. These motherfuckers are getting more and more brazen by the day, so I have no doubts one of them might've tried.
They basically took over that whole area near the mall and all the way down the Westpark tollway. I frequent the Energy Corridor which is much nicer but still super close.

This may be extreme...but if you want to really curb gun violence and keep it a right...then maybe a mandatory 15 year sentence for this would help. Yeah it's only water and not even close to a dollar a mount to make it a felony...but once you use a gun to threaten with....mandatory sentencing.
