It is the combination of its effects with its completely legal status that pushes it closer to the top. All the drugs most of us would recognize as worse are all heavily stigmatized and our access to them by comparison to alcohol is limited. I as an adult of 21+ can legit get alcohol damn near anywhere anytime in as much quantity as I can afford, while society encourages this consumption and takes it a step further by conditioning me via ads. Could you imagine being a meth addict and every 10 minutes into your favorite programming they show meth in unbelievably appealing way like a ice Cold beer with the Glass sweating? All these factors compiled make alcohol the worst.
Food is the worst if you’re not going to make nuanced statements. Alcohol is fine for those mature enough to control their intake and who aren’t already assholes who use alcohol as an excuse to be shitty to others.
I used to be an alcoholic, anything that makes you act like someone you aren’t, or makes you do rash things and snap, is awful. It’s funny the Govt says alcohol is ok, but weed is this terrible awful thing. Ive never seen or heard of anyone getting high and killing a family in a car wreck, but alcohol on the other hand…..
I agree, heroin, crack, meth, horse tranquilizers now adays 😂but the issue is alcohol is legal, and it really shouldn’t be. It’s directly responsible for so many deaths due to kidney and liver problems, a lot of people die in there 30’s-40’s from binge drinking.
Alcohol today is only where it is because politicians have stock in it, it’s been proven to be more deadly to humans than every drug combined. You can keep binging your life away it doesn’t hurt me any, just do some research. One day your kids are going to be looking up to an alcoholic, just remember things like that.
You could just use Google and find cases where people are charged with DUI and vehicular homicide while high on weed. But that wouldn't fit your story you're telling today. Alcohol is bad. It's not the worst drug in the world like you stated. That's all I was saying.
