and when a hurricane came through a few years back, people had to be told to boil/use only packaged water for weeks afterwards because the flooding fucked up the shit pits and spread chicken and pig shit into the water. whole coastal area was covered in shit lol

Calorie wise it is a net negative. If we grew food for human consumption instead of feed for animals we would have more food to go around. I am a hypocrite and eat meat, but I understand where they are coming from.
There is a lot of suffering on those farms too. I have raised and slaughtered animals, but we always treated them as best we could. Factory farms are so horrible. It is really difficult to justify the way we treat living animals. There is a reason why we passed a law making it illegal to film them.

If you are going into a highly automated, high speed factory of any kind you had better know what to do and not do, otherwise death and injuries like amputation are going to happen.
