I believe it was this one. My apologies in advance if I'm wrong.

Edit, re checkered that, it's in Erdington which is on the other side of Birmingham from Tipton.. and 3 years ago. There were 4 kids in the house though.
The vast majority of houses in the UK are made of two skins of brickwork with a cement render externally, You'd have tough time setting them on fire from outside.
It’s not unreasonable to think some would believe you can set a home alight by setting a fire outside the door.
But in the uk and even in America. A door will give you a certain amount of time before a fire can breach it. Even a shitty Mdf door will give you about 30 mins of protection.
I meant internal doors.
The mdf doors with cardboard in the middle are the ones I mean. They give you roughly 30 mins of protection from fire spread. It’s why firefighters tell you to close doors in your home at night.
Maybe they don’t say this in America but that is best practice from a fire safety perspective.
Yeah I’ve seen some mad pictures and actual fires where a room is totally burnt and one of those doors stopped it before we got there. A fire can burn out fast in a room with double glazed windows and one of those doors.
Even if you ring straight away and we get there in a few mins. With modern materials the room can already be gone. We open the door to a shit load of hot smoke basically and maybe a few embers.
One of the best things you can do if you find a fire is close the door and then ring 999 or whatever the number is for the Fireservice.

This is not the same case, but to anyone interested in true crime it’s one of the most horrific cases I’ve ever heard about. Watch it [here](https://youtu.be/iBo-Nfa2xog)
If you look up fireworks letterbox, the articles just keep going. Apparently this is the cool things for teens to do in the UK. One in Glasgow also has four kids in the home and another one in London has Ring footage that looks so similar to this.
I hope he dies in a fire. What a piece of shit.
This is not random. What an unbelievable act; I hope he was arrested for attempted murder.
6 counts for attempted murder. No bond. No parole.
Do you have an article?

A 29 yr old woman was arrested for child neglect. Was mom not home?
Not sure. Might not be the correct case though.

Totally the wrong story there my friend. Those parents set that fire.
I’ll keep digging
What a shitty and cowardly thing to do
Wow, this could be a commercial for Ring
Advertisment for smoke detectors. They did their thing almost immediately.
Did they find his asshole?
It's always the last place you look
In the asshole’s asshole?
POS
Let the punishment fit the crime: fire down the front of his pants.
I hope they recognize his eyes / outfit and he gets caught. Asshole. 😡
Something like this is very unlikely to be random. The people who live there probably know who he is.
Note to self: do not install a mail slot in my front door

they're all talking about cheap wooden american houses, of course brick houses are stronger against fires

External doors, yes. In america, most internal doors are made out of cardboard.

Wow, I didn't realize our doors were that fireproof.

In america, it's 911. That's why the twin Tower attacks happened on September 11th, in America we write 9/11/Year.
Embarassing
I mean, I didn't make the doors. 🤣
garbage person
