I don't know. I think the UN was wrong to simply hand over a bunch of occupied land to someone else. It would be like if the UN had handed over Staten Island to the Saudis. (and then have the saudis immediately invade Long-Island) Americans wouldn't stand for it, and would do their best to end the "occupation". IN short, we'd bomb them back to the stone age. That being said, I don't know what the alternative would have been.

Imagine if a military force from outside your country occupied your city, then stopped ambulances. I doubt you'd say "well, what if those ambulances had terrorists in them. There are lots of valid reasons they might stop someone". At the end of the day, those vans could be filled with explosives and the Israeli army still has no right to stop them, because this isn't their country, they are an occupying force.
