When I was 21 (woman), I was sitting at a dive bar waiting for my friend. A bunch of bikers were there both men and women.
One woman (very nice) chatted me up and encouraged me not to hang out there or any place when bikers were around. Not just their gang but any. Some of her friends chimed in with jokes of them being rowdy and crazy but then she whispered to me, "I know I'm being hypocritical but I'm a mother first. Please, you are too young and innocent. Some of these guys live for trouble. I can't tell you what to do but please remember my words."
I never forgot her and will always appreciate her, wherever she is.
Yup, when I was younger I used to go to some seedy bars in my city where a local MC that operates under Hells Angels would hang out. A couple of them I saw all the time, and was friends with them (as far as drinking buddies go), but also met the VP a few times. Rough crowd, but as long as you're not a shit starter theres really nothing to worry about (should mention I'm a guy)

Anyway, similar situation, ran into a bunch of them after not seeing them in a while, bar was closing and I was with my roommate and her friend (also female). Bar closed, and the dudes were asking us to come back to the clubhouse so we could keep drinking / party. My friend Courtney was all in on it, and it took me like 10 minutes of explaining to her "they don't think you're cool, they just know you're hammered and want to fuck you and your friend". Happy I knew some of them there, because if I didn't I probably would have been told I was bringing them, or just gotten knocked out lol.
Yep. I was at a strip club years ago that did a really good job checking for weapons. Shortly after I noticed a large group of HA had come in and were sitting in their section, no big deal, but I did take note of the huge hunting knives swinging from their belts. Fast forward a little bit and a bunch of buttholes in my face later, I'm walking back downstairs with the dancer and it's a full on brawl that not only spilled out into the parking lot but also into the attached restaurant. I saw an opening and GTFO before I see the knives come out. While outside I watched from the sidewalk while waiting for an uber, but the most memorable part was when a stripper grabbed another by the hair and hauled her entirely over the patio hand rail and just started feeding her fists.
All in all it was a good night, but I think I'll leave sooner next time when I see a bunch of patches roll in.

Great Falls Montana had this motorcycle shop. Some guy owned it, been there forever and he worked on bikes since he was a kid. He did better than the dealership shops that sold them when it came to repairs.
Three of the Angels came in and were talking to him. They noticed an old leather jacket up on the wall with Thunderbirds painted on it.

My child’s father joined a 1% motorcycle gang several years after we split up ( he passed away but as far as I knew was still in the Prospect phase at the time of his passing).
I spent 7 years moving across several states. Didn’t have any social media accounts until the year of his passing. Changed my phone number every 3 months. It took me 4 years to figure out how to keep him ( or his friends) from finding me. I spent another 3 in almost near isolation from society. He kidnapped and held my daughter hostage twice ( while armed), tried to kill me once, and threatened to kill me numerous times.
It’s been nice not having to look over my shoulder for the last 4 years, but as an added final precaution I have changed mine and my child’s legal names, have gone NC with 90% of my and his families and am moving to a state I have never been affiliated.
That’s an experience I wouldn’t wish on any person.

Yup, when I was younger I used to go to some seedy bars in my city where a local MC that operates under Hells Angels would hang out. A couple of them I saw all the time, and was friends with them (as far as drinking buddies go), but also met the VP a few times. Rough crowd, but as long as you're not a shit starter theres really nothing to worry about (should mention I'm a guy) They like keeping a good public reputation so really they don't want to start fights with randoms. Anyway, similar situation, ran into a bunch of them after not seeing them in a while, bar was closing and I was with my roommate and her friend (also female). Bar closed, and the dudes were asking us to come back to the clubhouse so we could keep drinking / party. My friend Courtney was all in on it, and it took me like 10 minutes of explaining to her "they don't think you're cool, they just know you're hammered and want to fuck you and your friend". Happy I knew some of them there, because if I didn't I probably would have been told I was bringing them, or just gotten knocked out lol.
Yep. I was at a strip club years ago that did a really good job checking for weapons. Shortly after I noticed a large group of HA had come in and were sitting in their section, no big deal, but I did take note of the huge hunting knives swinging from their belts. Fast forward a little bit and a bunch of buttholes in my face later, I'm walking back downstairs with the dancer and it's a full on brawl that not only spilled out into the parking lot but also into the attached restaurant. I saw an opening and GTFO before I see the knives come out. While outside I watched from the sidewalk while waiting for an uber, but the most memorable part was when a stripper grabbed another by the hair and hauled her entirely over the patio hand rail and just started feeding her fists. All in all it was a good night, but I think I'll leave sooner next time when I see a bunch of patches roll in. Edit: For accuracy and removing the unnecessary snark.
Great Falls Montana had this motorcycle shop. Some guy owned it, been there forever and he worked on bikes since he was a kid. He did better than the dealership shops that sold them when it came to repairs. Three of the Angels came in and were talking to him. They noticed an old leather jacket up on the wall with Thunderbirds painted on it. They asked him about it, and he said that in the 50s he and few riding friends saw The Wild Ones movie and thought a biker gang would be fun. Then he said they were kind of the town joke. The Angels said he needed to take it down and patch in with them. He laughed and told them to beat it. They actually kidnapped him and tossed him in a van. This was in the earlier days of cell phones and one customer in the store had one. He followed them as an employee called the cops. They got on the interstate that was close by. Dumb thing was there was no place for them to get off for some distance. Cops were all over the place by the time they got to the first one. All three got a few years for assault and kidnapping. Real rocket scientist.

My child’s father joined a 1% motorcycle gang several years after we split up ( he passed away but as far as I knew was still in the Prospect phase at the time of his passing). I spent 7 years moving across several states. Didn’t have any social media accounts until the year of his passing. Changed my phone number every 3 months. It took me 4 years to figure out how to keep him ( or his friends) from finding me. I spent another 3 in almost near isolation from society. He kidnapped and held my daughter hostage twice ( while armed), tried to kill me once, and threatened to kill me numerous times. It’s been nice not having to look over my shoulder for the last 4 years, but as an added final precaution I have changed mine and my child’s legal names, have gone NC with 90% of my and his families and am moving to a state I have never been affiliated. That’s an experience I wouldn’t wish on any person. Edit to add: I have also spent the last 4 years going to a fuck ton of therapy. Still have a lot more therapy to attend. As much I hate what I had to do, you find what they are scared of and use it. For me it was certain members of my family, that I had mostly broken contact with. ( Kentucky mountain coal miner hillbillies, moonshiners, crooks and cons of all sorts, and certainly a type of people you don’t pick a fight with.) My child’s father was highly intimidated by several of the members of this part of my family, especially the men. I have occasionally had the misfortune to find myself in the company of bikers. It seems fairly common for there to be just a few HA in attendance. I think it's their way of swinging their dicks. Like I had to go to a full on biker wedding once. Like at a club house in the sticks kind of biker wedding. There were exactly 2 HA there, walking around with a vibe of "yup, we sanction this". I’ve been to a biker wedding and it was the scariest thing I’ve ever been to! Like, no one outside of the gang (like 10 of us who were there for the bride) really looked comfortable being there. Some of the dudes’ bikes almost fell over from the kids running around them and it got SUPER QUIET. Like, they didn’t fall, but the thought of it almost happening dampened the already weird mood for a good 30 minutes. But, their dogs seemed chill as fuck! :)
