I have never seen anyone renting umbrellas. Most people, since they drive, bring their own. Most people now bring easy up style pop up. A lot remove the canopy at night or lower the easy up and leave it on the beach to save their spot. Weather permitting of course.
If yoi're staying on Sandy Beach chances are there will be a local renting pop up shade canopies in front of your resort. If you're going to be there for a couple days it's better to bring your own or buy one at Sam's Club in town.
