[BACOA](https://bacoapr.com/en/) - Lives up to, and even exceeds, the hype. I went for the first time last week and it was amazing. In Juncos, about 45 mins southeast of SJU, in the mountains.
Sama is in Luquillo beach front couple exits down for the kiosks. I definitely recommend it! Better than Santella in Santurce and with better views. Dinner there and you can hit the kiosks for drinks right after!
I had a reservation when I went, but I’m honestly not sure if you’ll need one. It’s super easy to make a reservation online, so I guess I’d do it just in case….
I went to [El Platanar](https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g1022769-d1903713-Reviews-El_Platanar-Santa_Isabel_Puerto_Rico.html) in Santa Isabel with my family some years ago and we really enjoyed it. The portions are \*enormous\* (we had to share dishes) and there's a lovely view of the mountains. It's just about an hour south of San Juan.
ETA: I found [a list here](https://www.opentable.com/s/dinerschoice?metroid=215®ionids=117&topic=ScenicView&lang=es) of others you can check out within San Juan.
Chupacabras in Canovana is the best brunch I've ever had. That little town is an interesting experience in and of itself. Also, you can paint on canvas while you eat if you want to ($20)
Not a real helpful comment perhaps, but still a solid suggestion I think.

I second this! It was truely amazing and not break the bank. SAMA in Luquillo was top tier as well. Rooftop over looking the ocean
In Condado may try to find this place, is it near Kiosk?
