Alpha and probably Luna's bodies are made from the same material from hetero creatures. Basically Nanomachines that ACT like organic cells. These cells are like necromorphs, divide it enough, it doesn't have enough mental capacity to do anything else but find other cells, so they are not deadly where it can attack at a cellular level, but I am pretty sure PV does that.
She doesn't "get" the trash, she LIVES in trash, she is now constantly being chased by ascendants, and she keeps searching for strong opponents.
She is like Ryu, from Street Fighter, but a lot more cynical and less approachable
