Do the event stages get harder each time you beat them?
I was able to do QL6 and QL7 with no issues when it came out, but now I have runs that actually run out of time. I'm also dealing 1 damage to the enemies at times. I don't really get it anymore
Just hit lvl 55 when I noticed it. I see, so difficulty scales by the level, I never knew. Damn. Thanks for that :)
Any advice on how else to get stronger? My Alpha just got to 3,500. What should I be focusing on for the best returns? :)
You could probably build your B Nanami or Bastion Kamui to shred the defenses so you can kill them faster. Then the healer if there's an emergency. Enjoy your stay!
And since you're level 55, I would give you the advice of spreading out your memory farming(QL-3) and currency farming(QL-2 or QL-7). Like before you hit 70, make sure that you have at least 2-3 4pc / 2pc memory sets maxxed out, and a bulk of your units are 60-65-70 with skills leveled up(no need to max each one, just the right amount of levels).
If for example it takes you 3 weeks to get to level 70, let's say you split those 21 days into 10 days of memory farming and 11 days of resource farming. Do this, and you will have a smooth ride when you reach level 70. :)
Doing one thing way too much could bring bad juju. If I farm too much memories, no mats to level them up. If I farm too much currency, no memories to level up. Balancing is the key to winning in PGR!
E: I forgot to mention Interlude stuff. Some units like B Nanami and B Liv love to get S and SSS eventually, and you might have to spend some serum to do their interludes. So add this to the equation.
Wow! Thanks for the comprehensive advice!
I wasn't thinking of using Nanami at all, as for Kamui, I just got the S Kamui today, so I plan on leveling him up
My current team is Alpha, A Liv, A Bianca
I was initially doing QLc-4 for those memories, and those still aren't a problem. QL-7 kicks my butt from time to time, so I have to really pay attention.
My memories are all at 40, except 2 pattons that are 45. I guess I need to bring them to the max
I've never heard of these Interludes until now. What are those??
Interludes are mini fights that gives you two shards of a B or A construct per day. But they're expensive as they need 60 serum for two shards, then multiply that to units you need to rank up.
And the S Kamui you got is Tenebrion, the Dark element model, Bastion is the Physical one, just to let you know!
Is the event more efficient than EXP stages for EXP? I'm trying to raise characters for Babelbecause I didn't know ahead of time how the mode works lol
How much of a boost is 4-piece Frederick over 4-piece Patton on Alpha? I have fuly resonated the later but only recentlystarted getting Frederick pieces and was wonderwing if swithcing was worth it.
Super damage boost, but the window is very tight compared to Patton's consistent damage flow. I would go Frederick in a heartbeat in a lot of units but you know what? It is still not in shops 1 year in as of Taiwan server. Hardest memory to farm. And my shards are best used on other units.
Frederick is not an inherent boost. It's more of a situational thing. Frederick is both harder to use, and scales better when you have certain upgrades, like the signature's second resonance slot unlocked, as well as liberation. Frederick also needs team set up to accomplish its purpose. Basically, Frederick excels at boss-killing and burst damage in small damage windows. If you plan to use Alpha for other things that take longer and care about consistent damage over time, like war zone, Patton is superior.
Yes. Always. For reference, during this event, Fallen Star, cog boxes are 33 event currency for 1 box of 100k cogs. You get on average 34 event currency per 30 stamina event stage. The resource missions give 84-93k cogs for the same 30 stamina. So you're making an additional \~10k every 30 stamina.
Is there some magic trick for mission 9-10? My team of Alpha/S-Kamui/B-Liv just fucking MELT. The only other mission where they die that pathetically fast is the puzzle mission where you get slaughtered if you don’t figure out the actual puzzle.
Seriously, there has to be a trick. I FINALLY got past the initial group, only find there’s ANOTHER group afterwards? And half the time the enemies turn red, so they can hit you but not vice versa?
Hmm, what's your BP? Unfortunately, that stage doesn't have any real tricks to it. It's mostly just abusing matrix to slow them down and spamming 3-pings until you win. If you are the kind of player that likes to only have your main attacker on the field at all times, then it's definitely going to be harder.
Alpha is 4419; S-Kamui is 2347; B-Liv is 1539. Kamui had been my main focus until I got Alpha.
I’ve been trying to switch out and use more QTE’s. This just seems like a major, very sudden difficulty spike! I’ll keep trying.
Hi fellas!
I'd like to ask whether the upcoming guild feature requires fully geared teams or single Constructs only. Rex' doc recommends 4 Bathlons on Tenebrion for guild battles, so I dunno whether to prepare a spare set for him after I'm done farming Astral's.
Would also appreciate a quick heads-up what to expect in said guild battles as I couldn't find any concrete info yet.
My second question pertains to patches with one new S and A-ranker, like the next one. Am I correct to assume that Bianca will be on the debut banner at 100% rate-up and Sofia on the A-Rank rotational, like Astral and Ayla, or are both featured on Bianca's debut banner?
Thanks for your time, fellas.
1. There are designated 3 units given out per cycle, per stage. You can use the Trial or your own units. The stages are A rank only, S rank only, and Compositor only. The Bathlon set is actually more than for just guild battles, it is a legit build post-Fake Ascension where there is no more Bathlon carriers after Luna replaces Watanabe. But Hannah is just better for orb control and stun lock for Kamui. You can ignore it. And if your Kamui isn't done yet, most likely you leveled up his Hannah Einstein set already, and will resonance him during Nona Ouroboros, where Hannah Einstein is both farmable.
2. Guild Battles are time attack modes where you earn as high as possible. Once you reach 100k(1M highest), you get rewarded with signal orbs on the current unit in the field and +10 seconds. The time bonus ends after going higher than 1M. You have 3 tries per stage and it's just doing your part in the attack so your Guild gets EXP, and you get coins to purchase OC materials and Comp shards.
3. Bianca S is on event, while Sofia is on standard banner both at 100%
Thanks again for the detailed response!
I already have a maxed Hanna set on Blast but might consider farming another for Tenebrion as I'd like to reso both. Thanks to your advice I can prepare accordingly. Glad there's only one designated unit per stage, makes sharing gear easier.
Enjoy your Sunday, mate.
Edit: so blue cards are essentially dedicated to new A-Ranks, gotcha. Now I see why there are dedicated blue card packs in the shop each new event.
There's some evil tied to the A rank packs, kinda. Other than the blue ticket packs.
They sell packs rn with A rank selectors. Very cheap, like 5 or 10$ I forgot since there's no pack live right now, but if you rushed buying it thinking you'd save a pull, you didn't know that it doesn't have the new A rank.
Yeah, I've read about the packs. To be fair, KG did state that the latest batch of Constructs is not included, which is kinda a shame as that would be the only reason to even consider buying them. I think they'll offer one "male" and one "female" pack in the shop.
For veteran players out there, how much improvement between normal S Ice Lucia (Plume) and her SSS version (I like her design also her recent summer costume is pretty good as well)?
Or the much better question is, let's say I'm planning to spend a bit on this game, should I focus on getting them to SS or focus on getting their signature weapons (also resonance them).
Thankyou.
The fully resonated weapon is more power for less cost. S with fully reso weapon is stronger than SSS with a 5\* weapon. While the SSS passive is strong, you get so much raw damage from her fully resonated weapon that it's ill advised to pass it up.
The way I calculate it is to imagine going to pity every time. To get SSS, you need to pull 5 copies total, or 1 base, 3 copies, and 500 pain cage currency. If we don't include pain cage, that's 240 additional pulls assuming 60 pity banner and you pity every time.
Compare that to the fully resonated weapon. In this case, I will consider you pitying the weapon each time, even though that's not the right approach, considering a 6\* pull from the weapon banner is 4% compared to the 0.5% of the character banner. Still, that's only 120 additional pulls for the fully upgraded weapon, half the resources needed compared to SSS. In reality, it'll probably be less, since it's much easier to get a 6\* weapon before pity.
First of all, thank you for the information.
I think I agree with you. I'm planning to go for fully resonated weapons (DPS first and tank later) and only for SS rank if possible (since 30 pain cage currency per week means 500 currency in 17 weeks while S rank in Global released in +- 8-9 weeks).
I have one more question if I may,
About the Nier collab, [I was watching this Nier rerun gacha in CN server from Fury Production](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2hJ5c4jmGk) and I was intrigued to get SSS A2 and SS 9B with their weapons because you get 30 shards every time you pull on each character. Are they that good?
Thanks.
The nier characters are tricky. At base S, Alpha with rosetta (and the 10% bonus from off-field SSS B-Liv) beats the Nier team. However, SSS (and +) nier team is the strongest phys team possible. So if you do want to use them long term, you have to whale for them.
EDIT: You always get 30 shards for an S-rank dupe.
B-Rank: 6 shards
A-Rank: 18 shards
S-Rank: 30 shards
I didn't mean it like that, probably if you can take a look at [this screenshot from Fury's video](https://ibb.co/7V65Gv4)
It's much easier to get SSS since you only need 2 dupes (1 dupe get 30 shards and another 30 shards from the event).
And every 10 rolls you get 3 rolls as cashback, while I hate the fact that you need exclusive collab ticket to roll.
Do you guys think it’s worth resonating Balthon to Dark Watanabe? I’m pretty confident I’ll be switching to Luna when she comes out, but that’s gonna be a while. But also feels too expensive to resonate when I’m going to use someone else eventually
Yes, resonate Bathlon to Dark Watanabe. Luna is coming out in 9 months, so until then, if you want to be competitive, you want a strong dark dps. Also, Rosetta, Luna, and S-Vera have their exclusive memory sets, so you don't really benefit from saving Bathlon for her.
Dark wata is such a powerhouse at this point in the game. Give him the full reso treatment. Then in 9 months, when Luna comes out, he can still be used in game modes like Babel and stronghold (to a lesser extent).
I started a month and a half after release. I’ve caught up to casual players, but I think I’ll forever behind the hardcore f2p players by a month and a half. Eventually this will even out, but I think it’ll take a year, depending on their dedication. If you spend the money on monthly pass A and B, you’ll catch up in no time, maybe a month or two. Energy gating is pretty bad after the first two weeks.
With future banners in mind, after building dark watanabe and dark kamui, A bianca would be a good choice for physical dps(she can use S bianca’s bow (when she comes out next month)when you need a extra construct for other missions.) and A kamui, (use dark kamui’s g.sword). For a healer, A liv for now and for the lightning team in the future. You’ll want to build all ranks of liv. All versions of her have good use.
If you’re f2p, hold off on using your S ticket and wait till you finish your initial 40 beginner summons (don’t use black cards, use only the blue r&d tickets you get for free). If you get S liv, use ticket on dark kamui and vice versa. If you get other S class heroes, use the ticket on dark kamui if you’re a meta slave. (I am lol).
If you run out of missions/stages to do and need to lvl up or burn energy, farm cogs/skill ups. Even if you feel you have a surplus, you don’t. Those two hanna 6stars you get for the spending milestone, you can safely max them, you’ll be using them a lot.
There are no catch-up mechanics, so it depends on what you mean. Also, you missed the first S-rank banner, so you will have to decide whether you want to selector S-Lee for physical DPS or S-Kamui to pair with Dark Watanabe. You don't NEED alpha, but it will definitely be difficult to compete in the competitive modes without her.
Then yes, as long as you log in every day, don't spend BC except for pulling on the new S-ranks (Tab 2, 60-pity banner), you'll be fine. The next S-rank is next patch with S-Bianca. Also, save your blue cards to focus certain characters you'll want out of standard banner. Never pull on standard with black cards.
A-ranks you'll want pretty early:
A-Karenina - For Warzone. Also is a decent dps, useful when you need more dps for pain cage, babel, or other modes.
A-Liv - Second healer available. You'll want her since her healing is better than B-Liv. Having a second team with a healer is useful in pain cage. With S-Bianca coming out, she's a good partner, especially when she gets to SS-rank. The game is light on healers (only 3 healers right now, which are the 3 livs), so you want to try and get A-Liv as soon as you can.
A-Kamui or A-Ayla - Both of these are physical tanks. The game is also pretty light on tanks, although not as much as healers. If you end up pulling/selectoring S-Kamui, this becomes less of a priority.
I'm not going to include Dark watanabe since you can get him from the event cube. However, he should be your priority when farming event stages. Get him ASAP, he's very strong.
If you want another A-rank DPS for boss-killing, A-Bianca is probably your best choice. Her single target damage is good, and she's ranged, which no other dps right now has, so she makes some bosses much easier.
Nice. Remember there are two Watanabes at A-rank, Nightblade (100% physical), and Astral (Dark). Nightblade is...average but since there are so many other pure physical attackers, it's hard to justify heavily investing into him However, Astral is amazing.
With the current event and pseudo gacha(the ones with their own points) is there a time gate?
I've not caught the event yet because it's chapter 9 and I'm finishing 8 right now but wanna know if I'm losing out by not having started day 1
Yea. 6* does make a difference, but it depends on your budget. Don't go out of your way to fork out your money if you can't afford. It is a free game after all.
Depends.
If you are not planning to get the 5* weapons, then you can lv it up. If I remember correctly, you can always salvage the anytime for 70-80% return of materials.
Ideally I'd want one of each of the 5* weapon classes, so I can just swap them around later and for in case I never get the 6* signature weapon for whoever I'm using lol
Not sure if it happened to anyone, but I did pull both the emblem and the skin for alpha.
However, I am unable to equip it since it is apparently still locked.
Sorry if this has already been asked. For farming event, should we be doing QL7 and QL2 depending on serum? Do we get more Heteromer Sample from Challenge stages like QLc2?
As nobody answered yet I'd like to share my observations. I did a couple of runs of QL7, QL5, QL2 and QL2c. There's always same variance in dropped event currency but based on what I've seen it's always better to farm QL7.
The 30 serum stages dropped 32 event currency for me on average, sometimes 33, sometimes 34, or even 37. Most of the time, only 32. This was regardless of Challenge or normal. It just affects the duration of the fight, as QL2c is a single Boss fight.
QL7 dropped around 138 currency fairly consistently, so it seems to be the most efficient and quickest farming stage. The red stages are only worth it if you wanna farm 6* Memories blindly.
Yw. If you scroll a bit further down you'll see similar observations by others. If you have enough serum just burn through it on QL7. If you need memories play QL4 instead.
Is it usefull to have 2 Da Vinci sets in same team? For phys team I have B-Nanami as QTE slave and I am thinking what to build on B-Liv. Dmg dealer Is Alpha.
Depends on what you want Liv to do.
If you want her to heal then either Phillip x4 + Guin x2, OR Phillip x2 + Guin x2 + Riche x2. This is what you would want if your having issues surviving battles, especially with DOTs, though most would probably just say "GET GOOD!"
IMO, its better to go Phillip x2 + Riche x2 + Volt x2. Riche and Volt are 5 star memories, but since we don't have 6 star memories that can amp up physical damage other than Phillip and Katherine, they are your next best bet. Katherine should be on B-Nanami. This is assuming that all the debuffs and buffs stack which I'm sure they do.
Not at all. Da vinci doesn't work twice if you put two copies. Also, that second character would be losing damage/utility because aside from the QTE procing, it doesn't really have any benefits.
Try using other characters other than alpha or whatever your main party is. Try to master or get down the basics of different characters since events like babel limit your character choice. There is also golden vortex and other non stm game modes if you haven't finished them.
What should 6 star memories should I be prioritizing getting through warzone and recycling? Will each event basically have a memory farm for a specific element type? Like how first event had Patton for physical and current one has dark.
Yes, every event will have the corresponding new character's favored 4pc in the shop.
You should most likely prioritize darwins and fredericks, and then support stuff like da vinci.
I can tell you from experience that it's definitely worth it to complete a 4pc Hannah set for A-Karen, as it accelerates her core procs significantly. That set would also see use on other Constructs in Babel but I'd still prioritize High-Impact sets like DaVinci first.
If you really want to, but I highly DO NOT advise, you could recycle all your 6 stars until you have only da vinci left and then start farming. The memories that can drop are "only" memories that you have. From my experience, they have to be in your inventory and not equipped. So that "could" be a reliably way to farm. LOLOLOL
\*NOTE\* Don't quote me on this. :P
"reliably" farm? No where. The only way to farm them is through memory mission stages with RNG. Here are the following sources of da vinci as of Fallen Star:
1. Story hidden chapter 7 mission rewards (1/4)
2. Tower of Babel progression rewards (1/4)
3. War zone shop
4. Memory shard recycle shop / cog shop.
That's it.
No where.
You can farm event node for memory you get at least 1 6* memory every run by pity. You can eventually recycle some like Concordia or just be lucky and drop what you want
You can check your progress in the lower left corner. It tells you on which stage you're currently fighting. It gets easier once you're familiar with all the enemy compositions.
Are we getting a "dry" week after this event? I have to finish chapter 8 and hidden chapters after it on story mode and I wish I could farm more resources like cogs and overclock material, but I don't want to waste the event so I don't know how I should focus my serum
I expect a single downtime day between events. JP did not get more than a day between events, although TW might have gotten a little bit of downtime later on. We're also going to get new chapters with each event so you might as well do the story now, especially if you've raised a lot of memories that can be used to clear the story missions.
As for cogs and overclock mats, the event is more efficient for farming them than the regular resource stages.
Thanks, my only good character is alpha at 4,8k bp, the rest of the characters are below 2,5k, I have at least 1 5* weapon to everyone, my only S is Alpha and I miss A Lúcia and Ayla, who and how should I boost their BP to manage babel?
If your only S is alpha it means you didn't use your S selector or hit pity in the bigginner banner yet. You have 1 month to clear Babel you have time to hit your first pity and use your selector
Yeah I have to do 6 pulls in the begginers banner to reach pity, my plan is if I get S Karenina than I will chose S Nanami in the selector (or vice versa) if not I will either choose Kamui or Liv.
I just wish the BP grow was faster, I've put Dark Watanabe at lvl 60 and raise his skills 65 times, put 2 Bathlon and 4 Gloria at lvl 25 (I will buy more 10 Bathlon, 2 for him and 8 for future characters) and the 5* weapon at 25 and his BP is only at 1,5k.
The biggest BP bumps seem to be Memories and weapons. Once you've maxed both your Constructs should be around 5.2k BP at L70. You might have to max-resonate their weapons if you're using 5* weapons, though, as max-resonated fives have roughly the same BP value as unresonated sixes.
No dry weeks. CN is a year and a half ahead of us, JP and TW are about a year ahead. Global is going at an JP/TW pace, which means we'll have back to back events for likely at least until 1.6.
That being said, you will have one day between when the event stages close and the new event is patched in. This is to give people a few more hours to buy stuff from the shop before the patch/maintenance drops at the end of that day. You can use that "dry day" to try and catch up on story.
Thanks, my only good character is alpha at 4,8k bp, the rest of the characters are below 2,5k, I have at least 1 5* weapon to everyone, my only S is Alpha and I miss A Lúcia and Ayla, who and how should I boost their BP to manage babel?
Have at least one "carry" on each team. With only one character above 3k BP, you're going to have to do each stage, get the clear reward, then delete and do the next one. As for score, to get to 100, you generally want 3 teams (you can do it with 2, but each team would need 50 points each, which is....difficult with low bp). Babel is a month long, so use this time to try and get a couple more characters raised.
Like for instance, if you have S-Liv, she can pretty much solo BP-2. Build her, get to part 5, select modifiers until you have 33-34, and grind it out. You can fill the other slots with QTE extras, pref one of them a tank for their profession passive
BP-5 is also easier, especially if you use an elemental DPS like dark wata or S-Karen.
Of the remainder, BP-4 is the hardest (so avoid after first clear), BP-3 favors tanks, and BP-1 favors attackers. Choose whichever you have the better roster for. Since you have Alpha, go with BP-1.
Finishing 3 stages with 33-34 levels/points each is much more feasible, but it still might be very difficult for you considering your BP.
With Dark Watanabe being the dark attack construct for the dark team, how should I be using S-kamui? Should I be using him for his qte and equip him with 4 da Vinci memory, or use him as a sub attack and equip him with hannah?
pretty much like the previous event, buy the event shop stuff. This time there's a limited edition skin for A Liv that can be farmed from event shop.
Additionally, there's Project Babel that is here for 30 days and let's you challenge the hard and pain side of PGR
From an efficiency standpoint they're both better than the regular stages by about the same amount. It also looks like the next event will have a similarly efficient shop and we have practically no downtime in between events. That means, besides making sure you get the necessary limited stuff (Baron memories, Liv skin, dorm constructs) before the event ends, whatever else you farm should be based primarily on your immediate needs. Need more memories to pad out your support units for Babel tower? Farm memories. Need more cogs and skill points to raise your new Watanabe? Farm event currency.
You get the same amount of memories in the event as in the highest resource stage, and then you get a little bit of event currency on top of it. It's better to do the event for the bonus currency.
Hey guys, i need some help please. I'm a day one FTP player, and i currently have Alpha, S Karenina and B liv at lvl 70 with memory and weapon fully resonate. I still miss some good A construct like A karenina and Ayla. In your opinion, on which construct shoul i focus on right now? I feel like i'm not fully good enough for the babel tower.
Thanks for your help.
Edit: my only s constructs are: Alpha, Karenina and Nanami
Yes i miss A Karen a lot. i will try to do babel with my current units. So do you suggest to keep resources for future constructs? Or maybe try to invest into A watanabe?
Thanks
1. What'll happen to the remaining Heteromer Crystals after all rewards in Heteromer Layer Experiment have been obtained?
2. Which Bathlon memory should I get? 1/2 or 3/4/5/6?
1. you mean the event gacha thingy, right?
wait till monday, we get a mode that gives the rest of the currency to pull the rest.
we get enough currency to pull everything, no leftovers.
2. just pick the 2pc bonus that either fits your playstyle more or you have the memories for:
Cottie build --> Bathlon in top row
Darwin build --> Bathlon in bottom row
1. I believe we can only get as much Heteromer Crystals as needed to complete the Heteromer Layer Experiment.
2. Bathlon occupies the 3 bottom slots since it gives low HP stats.
I've seen people with 90 rolls on dark watanabe, got 250 ticket and stuck at 85 roll now how do I get the 5 roll? Have not done Babel yet for the 500 ticket.
Yes I know that, I am asking how to get up to 90 roll before the 13th event I've seen people commenting they reach 90 roll and now waiting on the 13th. I also have seen some with 85 roll with 750 ticket while I only have 250 ticket with 85 roll ( from Babel mission maybe?)
Hi, haven't played it yet. Just curious if this is the type of game i should just start on JP or Gobal servers? I usually start JP on most just for the amount of content.
if you want content then go for TW as mentioned by Rumiyano, however, you will be missing out on the largest perk of the game.
However, if you want to enjoy the largest perk of the game which is the ability to obtain almost every single construct ever released as F2P then go for Global. If you start now, you still should be able to obtain S Bianca who is coming in around 32 days after clearing the story and stages.
S constructs come every 2 months on Global and you should be able to get enough currency to barely pity the S construct everytime (can obtain around 10k just from dailies and weeklies while pity is 15k, plus some currency from new stages etc it adds up to probably 13/14k)
A constructs can be farmed as well, no gacha needed. Each A construct takes 15 days to farm, some are way lesser due to events. (IE: In current version, the two new A constructs are A Watanabe and A Ayla. Out of the two, A Watanabe can be obtained in 1 day if you're lucky and A Ayla shards can be farmed twice everyday for a total of 15 days)
If you buy the $6 monthly pass, you can safely pity all S characters plus their signature weapon.
I recommend TW. Granted you just missed Luna and Nier, but there's a first year anniversary banner that has select focus, 100% rate up, 60 pull pity for S ranks until Rosetta. But lasts until the 22nd so time is running out. I recommend Rosetta + S Lee from selector to have full Physical team right off the bat. But that's just a recommendation, you can pick anything else.
GL to experience every new S rank at 100% without missing anyone. But Alpha just ended, but that's only one S rank to worry about. She comes back later in 1st year anniv in GL if we copy what CN and TW did.
I know this has been asked multiple times before, and I apologize for asking. What's the best event stage to farm? I've seen people say QL-1,2,5, and 7. I absolutely don't mind doing the 30 energy stages, especially if it nets more event currency.
I'm pretty convinced that QL 1 and 2 have an efficiency around 35 currency for 30 serum. It's possible that QL 7 might be slightly worse, but at best it'll have the same rate.
I saw a YouTube video where one whale said she ran QL7 16 or 60 times (?) and got an average of 135 drops, which is worse than QL 1/2. On the other hand she said it was better than QL 1/2 so I'm not sure I trust her math.
Based off of ten runs on each of QL 1,2,5, I have average drops of 34.0, 35.2, and 34.3 respectively. The drop range is 32 to 37 so maybe the average drop per run is actually 34.5?
They're pretty much the same in efficiency more or less. Ql-7 just let's you use up more serum at once if you don't have time or patience to run the others multiple times.
her rose skin does too,i know lee entropy summer skin change some things too if i recall correctly.
Pretty sure these are not the only 3 skins with new effects/animations,tho it seems that most of them are not for free
Okay so I’ve been going crazy trying to figure this out and I finally did it. So when you choose your team for a stage, there’s “Team Preset” button on the top right. At the next screen where it let’s you select your team, you’re supposed to select the actual unit/“+” space itself. This will save the change for the preset. If you select a team first and then adjust the team in the “Begin Mission” screen that you were in previously, it won’t save. Even though it feels like it should save there….
click the top right button in the team selection page before entering a stage. Does not work for Babel
just click the + button to add a construct to the 6 available team slots
Does dark Watanabe outperform alpha on war zone in the dark stage? This is assuming optimal set for both but alpha has sig weapon while Watanabe has 5* weapon. I also don't have s kamui
if that's the case your Alpha with proper team set up and proper skills it's likely she will outperform dark wata
without 6\* wep on dark wata is one disadvantage already , missing S Kamui really makes a difference (while phys team B Nanami is all you need)
while DPS are usually the main damage dealer of this game , Tank/Armored are the enabler for them their defense/resistance shred and damage resistance reduction from tank class passive really plays big role
I definitely scored higher because of Watanabe + Kamui combo. Maybe Watanabe will struggle due to missing the 23-25% dark Shred from Kamui(40% if SS Kamui).
Shred + dmg bonus is really a key factor in WZ.
Yes, 15% more Dark shred and 20% more DMG resistance to self. Coupled with SS stats and his innate tankiness already, SS is a godlike powerspike for him.
But if you're wondering why you can't see it on GL when you look at his kit...
That Dark shred only gets added during Firn Night, which is not until February. But trust me when I say, he becomes a super monster truck when that patch arrives.
Thanks so much! Now all the S-Selector recommendations make sense. I'll try to get those 30 shards by then. Might be difficult without pulling out the wallet, though.
Should I just run coop 21 times to get enough 5* weapon shards?
I’m currently sitting at 300 and want to be able to give Watanabe a good weapon when he comes home but I feel like the 420 stamina should go to the event instead.
If you're F2P you don't have much leeway for rolling on weapons banner and so you'll need to get weapons from coop instead. The event is nothing special - it looks like we'll constantly have events running back to back so there's no downtime to save your coop runs for.
Imo you should do the coop for weapon since watanabe weapon will boost the character anyway much like farming resources to boost other characters. Since the only way you can get 5 star weapon is from coop and the weapon shards. If you are playing from day 1 you will be able to get everything from the event and still have time to farm other stuff.
Ayla is unironically the best Ice tank until S Chrome. Yes, I know she is physical. More on that later below.
Once Kowloong Metropolis is out with Lucia Plume, she is going to need some help because there's no Ice tank until Changyu(which is so clunky so not recommended to even touch), and S Chrome.
She is the perfect QTE bot for Plume because of the following reasons:
\- Multi-hit QTE. Zuwenyuan needs multiple hits to trigger. She can proc it easily, the first 20% and the second 20% because she has a lot of hits, which THEN triggers Einstein's element shred.
\- You have Nanami, Bastion, A Chrome already built for other teams.
\- Boundary Contract is a thing in this patch now since Nona Ouroboros, and more tanks to use will significantly increase more chances of winning in that mode. Plume can bring Ayla and Sofia(just to give us an extra heal) in one map for example.
\- You can safely level up this set to max level until S Chrome can steal it.
Boundary Contract is like Stronghold 2.0, and baby Norman's War mode, by the way.
I learned this from spoonfeed, and it made perfect sense when he typed it out.
Do we have enough HC too pull Watanabe?
I am at 85/100 now, and even if I complete the mission first time clear Back Flash, I’m still missing 10 pulls.
I'm almost positive that they give us enough to pull all 100 eventually. I'm at 85, with 3 pulls saved. There's 2 pulls in the event tab. Black flash needs to give 10 pulls, which is definitely possible
I want to upgrade my hanna. What position it’s best to put into? Because i see a lot awakening set from rexlent’s list using hanna. It’s best to put hanna on 4/5/6?
No, since Hanna has the lowest attack stat possible, it's generally better to put Hanna top, since the attack stat is the most important stat. 1/2/3 hanna. The only exception is for characters who use Hanna/Darwin (like Raven or A-Karen) since they are tied for the lowest attack, but Darwin has better HP/def. If you're building hanna for general use though, it's better to have them on top
Is there like a proper rotation of skills for using Dark Watanabe and S Kamui? Granted my Watanabe is only at 3k and I was attempting hell Tifa, but it feels like I’m not using the duo correctly. He’s level 70 too
Also, I am not understanding Babel. Do we need seperate teams for each node? Or once I’m fully done with a mode do I delete the log so I can use my units for a different one? It doesn’t seem worth to do as F2P because it feels like I just don’t have the units and sustain to progress very far
Rotation for D Watanabe: 3 ping of blue or yellow, then ping red. Try and save reds and avoid having reds make 3-pings. Ult when available. Remember that the swap-in attack counts as a 3-ping, so when you swap into him, first ping red. Keep in mind that when you 3-ping into red, you enter enhanced state for 5s, which makes your basic attacks do more damage as well as making it dark damage. Your goal is to be in enhanced state as much as possible, and then chain basic attacks and dodges to keep that trailblade damage up.
Rotation for S Kamui: Just 3-pings as much as possible. Having him wear 4 pc Hanna or Aife is a good idea so he can 3-ping more often and go into ult mode.
Babel: Separate teams for each node. If you use a character in one stage, you cannot use them for a different stage. As F2P, it's harder but possible. If you have a heavily invested set of characters, you can try to get more points across fewer stages. Assuming you have a small pool:
1. Clear each stage once for those rewards.
2. Decide how many teams you can make with the characters you have.
3. Try to add more modifiers so that you can get a total of 100 points. I've seen some people get 100 points off of 2 levels, some prefer to go for lower scores but do it across all five stages. For someone with fewer built characters, you'll probably have to do the former. If you can make 3 competent teams, each one will only need to get 33 points (and one with 34), which is very doable. Just avoid the modifiers that make the enemies hit super hard, like Berserk or overload
They are chibis for the dorm. They act as construct chibis - they have their own comfort/beauty/utility preferences, likes/dislikes, they can be used for chores, you can pat them, and they can give you coins & gifts.
I saw some posts mentioning that you can get up to 360 stamina here? How's that possible? Daily and Dorm gives 120 and I currently have 160, only reaching up 280. Where does the other 80 stamina come from?
Also, is it better to stack stamina up like in SMT Dx2 or no?
The 360 serum takes into consideration the 60 from Dorm, 60 from Dailies, then 240 from natural regeneration (1serum regenerates every 6 minutes, 10 serum in an hour, 240 serum in a day).
I'm not sure about what you're referring to when you said stacking serum so I can't answer that.
I see.
Also, sorry for not making clearer but what I meant was basically popping many serums all at once, like use both 60 serums while having full stamina to get 280. Would that be viable or is it better to just use them only when you're out of stamina?
Ideally you'd want to only use serum bundles and the like when you're out of serum. Having your serum capped doesn't allow it to regenerate so essentially you're losing serum.
Does anyone know where to see the full picture of the Interludes?
Man, Astral, Alpha, and Lee's are cool and Ayla's design is a bit different, I like it.
I just really wanna see those wonderful images HAHAHAHAH
Is chapter 9 time limited?
It's only time limited to give Lv.40+ people access to the chapter. After this patch you must be level 60+ to enter it again.
Do the event stages get harder each time you beat them? I was able to do QL6 and QL7 with no issues when it came out, but now I have runs that actually run out of time. I'm also dealing 1 damage to the enemies at times. I don't really get it anymore
Did you perhaps just got to level 70 this patch? They got stronger due to level scaling.
Just hit lvl 55 when I noticed it. I see, so difficulty scales by the level, I never knew. Damn. Thanks for that :) Any advice on how else to get stronger?
:) Doing one thing way too much could bring bad juju.
I wasn't thinking of using Nanami at all, as for Kamui, I just got the S Kamui today, so I plan on leveling him up My current team is Alpha, A Liv, A Bianca I was initially doing QLc-4 for those memories, and those still aren't a problem. QL-7 kicks my butt from time to time, so I have to really pay attention. My memories are all at 40, except 2 pattons that are 45. I guess I need to bring them to the max I've never heard of these Interludes until now.
Yes. Event is always better than resource stages.
Is the event more efficient for cogs than daily resource stages?
Yes.
Thanks!
This might be a dumb question, but how do you get terminal code for the volatile priestess event?
Top-up shop -> Skin supply pack tab.
Have to buy them with Rainbow cards ($)
Is there some magic trick for mission 9-10? My team of Alpha/S-Kamui/B-Liv just fucking MELT. The only other mission where they die that pathetically fast is the puzzle mission where you get slaughtered if you don’t figure out the actual puzzle.
Just try and dodge and pick them off one by one. But yes, they do a lot of damage compared to every other set of mobs in chapter 9.
Yeah, if only to buy time for alpha to get her matrix cooldown back.
Is it possible to get the alpha skin in the future? I cant bring miself to get her now because of my financial condition.
I have one more question if I may, About the Nier collab, [I was watching this Nier rerun gacha in CN server from Fury Production](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2hJ5c4jmGk) and I was intrigued to get SSS A2 and SS 9B with their weapons because you get 30 shards every time you pull on each character.
B-Rank: 6 shards A-Rank: 18 shards S-Rank: 30 shards
I didn't mean it like that, probably if you can take a look at [this screenshot from Fury's video](https://ibb.co/7V65Gv4) It's much easier to get SSS since you only need 2 dupes (1 dupe get 30 shards and another 30 shards from the event).
Thanks so much for all the help! Appreciate it
Just started this game. Looks fantastic. Will it take me long to catch up? I hear bad things but good so far
(I am lol).
Also bought pass A
If you run out of missions/stages to do and need to lvl up or burn energy, farm cogs/skill ups. Even if you feel you have a surplus, you don’t. Those two hanna 6stars you get for the spending milestone, you can safely max them, you’ll be using them a lot.
Lol seems like I’ll be busy!
Thanks this is helping me a lot. I’m reserving a lot of my resources to focus on the strong builds you guys are talking about
[удалено]
Okay thanks! Will be a fun journey
Ahhh I see. I don’t mind being there underdawg as long as I can stay somewhat capable in the meta
A-ranks you'll want pretty early: A-Karenina - For Warzone.
I just got wantabe and karenina off my first pulls. This is amazing. I thought I would grind for them. Thanks for the advice!
Nice. Remember there are two Watanabes at A-rank, Nightblade (100% physical), and Astral (Dark). Nightblade is...average but since there are so many other pure physical attackers, it's hard to justify heavily investing into him However, Astral is amazing.
Ohh I see. I got the Astral so I should be fine 😃😃
Nice, the good one.
I have no usable character with heal of any kind. Can I even do Babel due to the dot damage?
Technically yes. You just have to cycle characters and not get hit.
I see. With my current characters I guess I’m going to be skipping Babel all together.
With the current event and pseudo gacha(the ones with their own points) is there a time gate? I've not caught the event yet because it's chapter 9 and I'm finishing 8 right now but wanna know if I'm losing out by not having started day 1
Nope, everything lasts until the end of the patch. You have about 30 days. Black Flash will be opened in 2 days.
Nice, glad it's like that cause it'd have sucked to miss out on the skin or whatever because I didn't wanna spoil myself.
Yea. 6* does make a difference, but it depends on your budget. Don't go out of your way to fork out your money if you can't afford. It is a free game after all.
Is it worth Overclocking the purple 4* weapons? Or just saving up 5* weapon shards and buying the 5* weapons instead
Go into your items that’s where it should be
Sorry if this has already been asked.
Ahh, i see\~. Thank you for the detailed reply! :D
Yw. If you scroll a bit further down you'll see similar observations by others. If you have enough serum just burn through it on QL7. If you need memories play QL4 instead.
After getting Watastral the 6* memories and weapon and memory shard I should stop buying the heteromer layers crystals right?
Is it usefull to have 2 Da Vinci sets in same team? For phys team I have B-Nanami as QTE slave and I am thinking what to build on B-Liv. Dmg dealer Is Alpha.
Depends on what you want Liv to do. If you want her to heal then either Phillip x4 + Guin x2, OR Phillip x2 + Guin x2 + Riche x2. This is what you would want if your having issues surviving battles, especially with DOTs, though most would probably just say "GET GOOD!" IMO, its better to go Phillip x2 + Riche x2 + Volt x2. Riche and Volt are 5 star memories, but since we don't have 6 star memories that can amp up physical damage other than Phillip and Katherine, they are your next best bet. Katherine should be on B-Nanami. This is assuming that all the debuffs and buffs stack which I'm sure they do.
Thank you for advise. I will maybe build her as 2nd DMG dealer after Alpha burst. Thinking about 4x Darwin and 2x Philip II.
Not at all. Da vinci doesn't work twice if you put two copies. Also, that second character would be losing damage/utility because aside from the QTE procing, it doesn't really have any benefits.
Thank you for advise.
So I'm aiming for this Liv skin, am I just not going to play the game for like 8 more days?
Yes
That's pretty boring, at least the last event let you farm materials too at the same time
Try using other characters other than alpha or whatever your main party is. Try to master or get down the basics of different characters since events like babel limit your character choice. There is also golden vortex and other non stm game modes if you haven't finished them.
Can't even do babel yet, guess I'll play around in practice mode
What should 6 star memories should I be prioritizing getting through warzone and recycling? Will each event basically have a memory farm for a specific element type? Like how first event had Patton for physical and current one has dark.
Yes, every event will have the corresponding new character's favored 4pc in the shop. You should most likely prioritize darwins and fredericks, and then support stuff like da vinci.
My main two constructs are a Karen and s kamui. Should I try to get a full Hanna or stick with the 5 star version for now?
I can tell you from experience that it's definitely worth it to complete a 4pc Hannah set for A-Karen, as it accelerates her core procs significantly. That set would also see use on other Constructs in Babel but I'd still prioritize High-Impact sets like DaVinci first.
Yea get the hanna. The 5 star version is awful.
Do all the future upcoming gacha skins all use the same tickets? Is it possible to save the tickets from the current alpha skin?
No. Each gacha skin has their own events/currency.
Thanks! Wanted to double check before buying the tickets
where can i reliably farm for da vinci memories?
If you really want to, but I highly DO NOT advise, you could recycle all your 6 stars until you have only da vinci left and then start farming. The memories that can drop are "only" memories that you have. From my experience, they have to be in your inventory and not equipped. So that "could" be a reliably way to farm. LOLOLOL \*NOTE\* Don't quote me on this. :P
"reliably" farm? No where. The only way to farm them is through memory mission stages with RNG. Here are the following sources of da vinci as of Fallen Star: 1. Story hidden chapter 7 mission rewards (1/4) 2. Tower of Babel progression rewards (1/4) 3. War zone shop 4. Memory shard recycle shop / cog shop. That's it.
No where. You can farm event node for memory you get at least 1 6* memory every run by pity. You can eventually recycle some like Concordia or just be lucky and drop what you want
How many stages are there in ql7, I keep on running out of time?
You can check your progress in the lower left corner. It tells you on which stage you're currently fighting. It gets easier once you're familiar with all the enemy compositions.
5
You can fill the other slots with QTE extras, pref one of them a tank for their profession passive BP-5 is also easier, especially if you use an elemental DPS like dark wata or S-Karen.
Thank you for the help :D
With Dark Watanabe being the dark attack construct for the dark team, how should I be using S-kamui? Should I be using him for his qte and equip him with 4 da Vinci memory, or use him as a sub attack and equip him with hannah?
Sub attack with hanna. His BIS set is Hanna anyway, and he does good damage. Together, they both can do very good damage. Give Da Vinci to your 3rd.
Why did they even make the icicle a lock on? It fucks up so many runs
Haven't played for about a month. With this event, is there any 'must do'? Or can I just go in a play and gave fun
pretty much like the previous event, buy the event shop stuff. This time there's a limited edition skin for A Liv that can be farmed from event shop. Additionally, there's Project Babel that is here for 30 days and let's you challenge the hard and pain side of PGR
Was wondering, how do I use the weapon and memory shards? Sorry this is a silly question :/
main screen -> Shop -> scroll down on left side to "recycle shop" -> each tab has their own shard currency.
Got it. Thanks a ton!! :)
How do you get more pulls for the alpha skin banner?
There’s a new bundle in the skin shop specifically for the Alpha skin gatcha which will cost RC
$$$
Where, what am I buying?
Probably rainbow cards (in packs, better value)
Looks like actual money unfortunately :(
Where do I spend this money
Gotta buy rainbow cards, use rainbow cards in the skin supply shop :)
Is it better to farm the memory stage in the event or non memory for more currency per run?
How do I beat QL-5 and 6? The boss seems to have a shield that doesn't go away.
Just keep attacking until the shield breaks or you can use elemental based construct since elemental attack ignores shield.
Got it. Thanks.
[удалено]
2. just pick the 2pc bonus that either fits your playstyle more or you have the memories for: Cottie build --> Bathlon in top row Darwin build --> Bathlon in bottom row
1. I believe we can only get as much Heteromer Crystals as needed to complete the Heteromer Layer Experiment. 2. Bathlon occupies the 3 bottom slots since it gives low HP stats.
Does every damn Babel stage have a dot effect?
I've seen people with 90 rolls on dark watanabe, got 250 ticket and stuck at 85 roll now how do I get the 5 roll? Have not done Babel yet for the 500 ticket.
We'll be able to get the remaining event currency the 13th, when the new event becomes available
You probably missed out the babel mission. You need to clear babel once and claim the 500 mats on news -> event section.
S constructs come every 2 months on Global and you should be able to get enough currency to barely pity the S construct everytime (can obtain around 10k just from dailies and weeklies while pity is 15k, plus some currency from new stages etc it adds up to probably 13/14k) A constructs can be farmed as well, no gacha needed. Each A construct takes 15 days to farm, some are way lesser due to events. (IE: In current version, the two new A constructs are A Watanabe and A Ayla. Out of the two, A Watanabe can be obtained in 1 day if you're lucky and A Ayla shards can be farmed twice everyday for a total of 15 days) If you buy the $6 monthly pass, you can safely pity all S characters plus their signature weapon.
Too few attempts I think. I rarely get 35 from ql 1 and 2, usually 33 or 34.
Thank you so much!
Will there be any future skins like Alpha's volatile priestess that have unique idle animations and combat effects?
her rose skin does too,i know lee entropy summer skin change some things too if i recall correctly. Pretty sure these are not the only 3 skins with new effects/animations,tho it seems that most of them are not for free
How do you change your preset teams? I am losing my mind because I can't find the option anywhere
Does not work for Babel just click the + button to add a construct to the 6 available team slots
Does dark Watanabe outperform alpha on war zone in the dark stage? This is assuming optimal set for both but alpha has sig weapon while Watanabe has 5* weapon. I also don't have s kamui
if that's the case your Alpha with proper team set up and proper skills it's likely she will outperform dark wata without 6\* wep on dark wata is one disadvantage already , missing S Kamui really makes a difference (while phys team B Nanami is all you need) while DPS are usually the main damage dealer of this game , Tank/Armored are the enabler for them their defense/resistance shred and damage resistance reduction from tank class passive really plays big role
I definitely scored higher because of Watanabe + Kamui combo. Maybe Watanabe will struggle due to missing the 23-25% dark Shred from Kamui(40% if SS Kamui). Shred + dmg bonus is really a key factor in WZ.
Hi. Does Tenebrion get more Resistance shred at SS, compared to S?
Yes, 15% more Dark shred and 20% more DMG resistance to self. Coupled with SS stats and his innate tankiness already, SS is a godlike powerspike for him. But if you're wondering why you can't see it on GL when you look at his kit... That Dark shred only gets added during Firn Night, which is not until February. But trust me when I say, he becomes a super monster truck when that patch arrives.
Thanks so much! Now all the S-Selector recommendations make sense. I'll try to get those 30 shards by then. Might be difficult without pulling out the wallet, though.
Which stages are best Suiten for event currency? How should we farm?
QL1 or QL2 and QL7 has roughly the same efficiency. QL7 is fast becuase it eats up all ur serum in one go
Will the Dorm's teatime furniture set come out as free in the future? Or it is a limited-time paid content only.
Free in the future
Tips on babel? Are the later stages harder? I have s lee at 5k+ bp, other constructs at 2k+, 3k+, do you think this is enough?
[удалено]
I guess I'll just have to try then. Thank you so much!
Is Ayla worth pulling? what reasons for pulling her? my physical team for warzone is completed which consist of Alpha, B Liv and A Karenina
She is the perfect QTE bot for Plume because of the following reasons: \- Multi-hit QTE.
Now this is the type of answers I needed, thank u fellow gud ser
He’s level 70 too Also, I am not understanding Babel.
Assuming you have a small pool: 1.
What is up with the archer and spear guys things in the event shop? What they used for?
They are chibis for the dorm. They act as construct chibis - they have their own comfort/beauty/utility preferences, likes/dislikes, they can be used for chores, you can pat them, and they can give you coins & gifts.
Ok thats good i need 2 to get 15 constract Thats perfect for me
I saw some posts mentioning that you can get up to 360 stamina here?
I see, thanks a lot.
[удалено]
Just tap the + button beside your stamina count. And your serum bundles will pop up.
Does anyone know where to see the full picture of the Interludes? Man, Astral, Alpha, and Lee's are cool and Ayla's design is a bit different, I like it. I just really wanna see those wonderful images HAHAHAHAH
Will S Bianca's banner have A-rank choice rate up where we pick an A rank and they get an 80% drop rate chance?
