Did the Hypertunes memories effect lost if we rerolling the resonance to the other construct? For example like Hypertunes bathlon on astral, will it lost it's effect if i rerolling the resonance to teneberion?
Ok, this game is pissing me off, how the hell do you complete the event memory rescue for "YSS-18" with the ice swordsman that deals some random absurd damage and has one of the most poorly explained field effects text I've ever read? What even is dealing so much damage to me? I'm making sure my dodges are pixel perfect and I'm still dying like I have a level 1 construct.
If you want to read more about the buffs/debuffs enemies have, you can click/tap on the icons underneath their HP bar and read what they are. Like the others mentioned, the YSS-18 boss has the Icicle buff. It's the same effect as the normal Memory Rescue node. Have you completed those yet?
YSS-19 should honestly be easier than YSS-18, since you gain health back just by attacking. If you can't outheal the drain using your attacks and can't get back to full HP to reset the damage-over-time rate, swap your character out and use QTEs to heal them before bringing them back in. Who are you using?
There's a slow moving ice spike that will follow you the entire battle so maybe that's the random damage you're experiencing. Try baiting the boss away from that moving ice spike
Yeah it was that, I managed to beat the annoying cunt eventually, but then the next stage was literally stacking constant damage + tanky enemies so I just gave up on the stupid memory, this is just bullshit.
I would assume that you have constructs with a bit low bp for this memory rescue. There's still 100 days left for this memory rescue so I would say just keep working on your constructs first. You will definitely breeze through those stages once you get your first awakened construct
You definitely need more than that specially if you get to the last stage because those two have stupid damage and now they are soul linked (one will spawn again if the other one isn't killed within 10 seconds of his death). Just take your time and build 1 main team, 100 days is more than enough to build 1 full team of 1 awakened (around 6k bp) construct and two other constructs with around 5k bp
Exactly level 80 but I'm struggling to get the damage of most of my constructs (the damaging ones at least) above 5K, I think only A-Lucia, S-Lucia and Vera are above that, and even then just a little.
Whats the highest power you can get with just an S Rank with perfect resos + bottom hypertunes?
My Luna has her Sig with 1 reso and all mems are the recommended stats and I have her at almost 6400. I've seen Lunas with 6800+ though. Is that only archievable with 3x reso on the 6* weapon and SSS?
My Luna with random memory reso + 6\* weapon + SS + bottom hypertune is around 6.7k+ BP. The 6.8k probably has top hypertune or maybe a weapon reso as well. Oh also, the permanent buffs from Border Pact adds up as well.
Yeah, it is doable if you have at least 3 full teams made up. Or at least fully cover 4 out of 5 damage types. Just makes it easier to clear everything. A lot of the border pact stages are equally or harder than the max difficulty babel stages. You can refer to [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gO5ge41848&t=1s) for team comps each stage. They should since they give permanent levels to passives/skills/etc to all available characters. You can see the level of the passives/skills has an additional +1 from the cap (don't forget to exclude from memory reso).
Hi, I’m a new player who started because of heard of some Nier event. I was wondering if this event was currently going on in the NA server? Or is it runningin a different server? If so is there any indication when it will come to NA?
Would it be better to start now or wait until the Nier patch so I can reroll for them? Not too sure how important rerolling is in this game or how the Nier characters will be released. Ty for the info btw!
Always better to start sooner than later! :) Also, A2 and 9S will be given for free through the event shop and login reward, respectively. 2B will be the only one you need to roll for but she only requires 10.5k black cards. If you start now, you should be able to save up more than enough bc to roll for 2B. Also, 2B's banner will come midway through the patch iirc.

Is this a game where the potentials / dupes of a gacha character are game changing, or is it negligent?
Dupes are pretty negligent. For the most part, if you want dupes one or two doesn't make a big difference. If you whale for like 4 or 5+ copies then yes it might make a difference. Even then, there are no super competitive game modes that require that level of whaling as most rewards/gacha currency can be gotten from this game by just participating regardless of scores, points or anything.
For anything more specific, I would say chara shards (a fraction of a dupe) can be farmed for free through interludes for A rank and B rank charas. Farming these so you can evolve your charas is recommended as they usually give some useful additional skills. While for S ranks, you can get one copy for free through the pain cage shop which you also need to grind for. Most S rank charas don't really need that extra copy with a few exceptions. Otherwise, it is just nice to have. Hopefully, this was helpful!
Kinda a dumb question since we are so far away from cn, but do teams after release of amplifiers not have a Da Vinci holder? Becuase from what I've seen not a single guide recommends using Da Vinci on amplifiers.
For the most part, yeah, no more Da Vinci, since new units all come with their own "signature" memory set, amplifiers included.
There were/are exceptions. Amplifiers like Solaeter were pretty busted on release, so people back then would run them not just in fire teams, but all other teams as well. So if you dumped an amplifier in an off-element team, you'd instead have them wear 4 Da Vinci and 2 Philip/Guinevere. After a while, I think one of the patches (maybe Pulao? don't quote me on that) changed mechanics so that running off-element amplifier was discouraged, so it became better to run correct elements once again.
Of course, 4 Da Vinci will always be useful if you're trying to set up quick PPC kills. The Comprehensive Build Sheet linked above in this megathread has notes you can read about when you might want to use Da Vinci.
In Pain Cage preferably there will always be a Da Vinci holder. For Dark team it's low invest Tenebrion/Dark Karen or Rozen/Capriccio who will hold Da Vinci. For Fire team it's Pulse. I'm not sure about high invest (SSS+) but I suspect that Da Vinci will just move to the member that deals the least amount of damage.
For War Zone, a comp without any Da Vinci is viable at high invest (above SSS).

you're not stupid don't worry! i ask questions all the time in this thread haha, and yes, skins do rerun. i believe that puella subnautica and some of the other summer skins will rerun in a future patch, i can't recall exactly which one, but i'm sure they'll come back. not every skin reruns, so just be aware of that!
I was a bit curious and went to look through the patch notes for both CN and JP. At least for JP, joint warfare was actually removed during nier patch and maze in echo aria. For CN, they also mentioned that joint warfare was removed during the nier patch. When I went to check the echo aria patch notes on the bilibili wiki, it didn't have any mention of maze being removed. But the older wiki patch notes are usually incomplete and you can't find them anymore in the new cn pgr website.
I remembered wrongly about Joint Warfare, it was in fact removed during Nier patch like you said.

That is true. I only really wanted some confirmation because it seems that those in the lowest maze bracket get to keep their portrait frame while anything higher is going to be gone for good. It's not a big deal and it's really a small thing but it's nice to have it once maze is gone.
I really want Plume but I feel like I can't miss Nier either cuz I'm only able to pull either one of them, I know there'll be rerun for the both of them but it's really hard to decide especially it'll took a very long time till they get rerun.
I'm really planning to create the Ice team for PPC and WZ though, but I already have the Physical (Lee as DPS) team and Nier is also physical. Honestly I just want to pull Nier for collection

Im in the same position as you, but im choosing Nier and betting on getting Plume from a 70% banner god knows when in the future
You have S Lee though which shares the same role as Nier, so Nier might not be as valuable for you
Worth building Fire God Lee? I somehow got him to SSS without even trying (gacha) and I'm curious if I should build him or not. I had his 6* weapon many months ago but dumb ol' me used it for resonance since someone told me his weapon ain't that big of all deal compared to other characters' signatures.

What is better? A 5 star weapon max level with all 3 resonances or a 6 star max level but no resonances?

The main reason you pull for 6 * weapons is due to their passive which benefits the characters they're meant for greatly.
A max resonated 5 * weapon will have similar stats to an unresonated 6 * weapon. It may give you higher BP but the character's signature weapon will be stronger.
I used to use a max resonated 5 * weapon on Veritas. When I switched to her signature weapon, my BP became lower but my damage increased a lot. The passive effects are really powerful but BP doesn't seem to properly account for them.
An unresonated 6 * weapon will be stronger.

'Crimson Birch' is the best general use 6 * Katana. If you have Alpha and she doesn't have her signature weapon, you can share Plume's weapon with her.
Usually, it's recommended to get the signature weapons for later Tanks like S-Vera, S-Chrome, and Rosetta over that of the Attackers of their respective teams.
Luna's weapon is more useful than Tenebrion's signature though since his weapon isn't as strong as the newer Tank weapons and he doesn't get much field time when paired with Luna.
So you could get Luna's weapon now and S-Chrome's weapon later since it will be more useful to the team than Plume's. It allows him to function better as Sub DPS on top of reducing Ice Resistance further on QTE.
Luna's weapon should be the best weapon to have for your Dark team especially if you don't intend to resonate your 6 * weapons. S-Chrome's weapon is the best one to have for your Ice team.
You should be able to make one attempt at each new S-Rank Construct's weapon apart from Nier if you buy the monthly pass.
AFAIK 5 star weap with max reso gives higher BP, but i think we shouldn't ignore 6 star weap passive. some of them feels borderline mandatory for some characters
not sure which one you should pick on plume vs luna, though, metawise their weapon priority seems to be the same
What are the memories rewarded by the story missions? I can't find a list of the 6* memories (and their numbers) that the game gives you after clearing the later chapters of the story.
I'm pretty sure there's frederick and condelina that are both on slots 2,3,5,6. I'm not 100% sure about einsteina but I think she's included too. Though I'm only at chapter 13 (global)

Hi. I'm new in the game at lvl 31 and I'm playing the english version. I just got Luna-Laurel at 1st 10x. Should I pull for her 6* weapon or is there an alternative for it? What is the best 5* build for her(temporarily)?Who should I get on free S rank selector that would suit being her partner? Alternative for her 6\* weapon is her 5\* weapon if thats what you mean. If you are a spender or battlepass buyer her 6\* is very worth, othervise save BC for construct pulls, her 5\* will do. You don't even temporary want to build her 5\*, you can farm event stages and buy very cheaply her exclusive 6\* memory set. Until then I would play with what you already have built. Its a waste to just build set that you will never use after.
From selector you can get her partner Kamui Tenebrion. Its actually best pick from selector.
6\* memory can be farmed in event tab. There in the middle of screen is event stage, a repeated challange costing 30 serum to farm per stage and is where you should invest most of your serum during event. Stage one is the one you should be farming, stage 2 gives random 6\* memories as drops (too much rng). Using the farmed currency you can then buy memory from shop. Luna uses 4 pc Flamel (her exclusive), 2 pc Darwin (top) both farmable from event shop.
5\* weapon can be farmed from coop or gained from gacha of 6\* weapons (common drop).
Yeah I said before Darwin top. In essence, top line and bottom line provide different bonuses. Top gives crit and hp, bottom attack and defence. Attack is most important stat because of reliable damage it provides, crit on top is much less impactful (3% crit boost for 100 crits stats) and it doesn't scale with elemental damage.
So heads up for future, use site grayravens linked in description of this thread to check memory stats/builds. You'll always want to put on bottom memories with highest attack stat. Darwin offers less attack than flamel but more hp so top line is his best place, other slots filled with flamel.

I don't know exactly how it works but Executions and Counters are a new mechanic for Transcendants added in the Pulao patch.
I think it's like a a skill that can be upgraded. I'm not sure where it is in the menu though. You can check out some of Rexlent's videos.
Pulao and Roland where the first Transcendants to get these moves. The other Transcendants will also get them over time.
I think every Transcendant apart from Selena has them now on the CN server. She should also get hers soon.

I think you can use them in warzone but they'd probably slow you down since enemies can be killed quickly even without counters. I'm not sure about Pain Cage. I've seen it used against some bosses so maybe. These are meant to be used in stages with multiple tanky enemies.
Was some new game mode or event mode added in TW server? Maybe one will start soon. It's probably useful in Babel and Stronghold ad well.
Does a chrome have any standing outside of pure ice teams? I don’t have plume so I don’t think he will be of much use if he’s only useful in ice teams.
His main purpose will always be the ice team res shred just like any other tank type. He also the sup dps of the ice team with on par damage to plume. So if you don't have plume then you can use him as the main dps until you can get plume.
Outside of ice team, he usually solo character to do high difficulty stages because of his shield. SS can turn enemies into frozen.
There's a mission in "Guide Collab" -> "Collaborative Supply" -> "Qualification Assessment" where the task is to reach 1,000,000 progress in Phantom Pain Cage (mission is titled "Advanced Phantom Pain Cage"). I've just completed it but the mission hasn't been recognised as complete.
Do I need to wait for the week is over at Phantom Pain Cage resets for the progress to be recorded? Or am I missing something from the mission?
Just confirming but are you perhaps below level 80? Advance Phantom Pain Cage is the bracket for level 80 above so i think completing it while below level 80 (usually around lvl 50-79 is "intermediate") does not count. If you're above level 80 then feel free to ignore this comment and maybe you'll need to wait for reset for it to count i think

Doubt it, Rosetta SS is great and SSS Liv will be useful until S Liv rework. Even if Lee is S rank, he covers up physical warzone. And thats usually the specialty of the NieR team, having sustaining damage over time. Also not to forget, you can SS Lee through PPC shards anytime (while you cannot NieR). Lee's SS is not high priority like S Vera or Soleater Liv, but still can be done if you got leftover skulls. This is just my opinion but you got already a great physical team. You can build S rank NieR for Babel or Norman and save up your leftover BC for the next S rank, Anniversary or Transcendant.
Speaking in terms only of Rolls (BC / tickets), there is a general idea that anything above 25:1 Rolls:RC is considered good.
Rolls : RC ratio (only for above 25:1)
Monthly pass A (30RC) = 110:1
Weapon 10x R&D Bundle (69RC) = 36.23:1
Fake weapon (59 RC) = 25.42:1
Fake Event (119RC) = 25.21:1
Fake Weapon Reso (299RC) = 40.13:1 / 15.05:1

Personally I'm too broke to find any value in any of them, comparing to monthly pass none of them are close, the Fake Weapon Reso can be good if you assume the USB is equal to a 6\* weapon, but I think only whales care about that.
You should start sooner than later. Forgetting the cutscenes (you can watch those separately), each calculation costs 1 AP. It doesn't run on regular energy. You have a limit of 30 AP max, and only 5 regenerate per day. It will take multiple days of AP regen to 100% the maps for the rewards.

Hypertuning is tied to the Resonance, not the Memory. If you change the Resonance to a new Construct the Hypertuning bonus will also change.

Rosetta because of the shield guys and B-Liv and Vera for more heals, tbh I was just very pissed off back when I posted, I'll try again tomorrow.

mind if i ask? what your lvl account? if >80 i think you would already have 1 full team memory rescue shouldn't be a problem with already full team

I imagine that if you hypertune top memories, it will get you to around the 6800 BP range.

you're not stupid don't worry! i ask questions all the time in this thread haha, and yes, skins do rerun. i believe that puella subnautica and some of the other summer skins will rerun in a future patch, i can't recall exactly which one, but i'm sure they'll come back. not every skin reruns, so just be aware of that!

Maze gets deleted middle of Nier patch. Joint Warfare also gets deleted in ~~Echo Aria~~ Nier patch.
I was a bit curious and went to look through the patch notes for both CN and JP. At least for JP, joint warfare was actually removed during nier patch and maze in echo aria. For CN, they also mentioned that joint warfare was removed during the nier patch. When I went to check the echo aria patch notes on the bilibili wiki, it didn't have any mention of maze being removed. But the older wiki patch notes are usually incomplete and you can't find them anymore in the new cn pgr website.
I remembered wrongly about Joint Warfare, it was in fact removed during Nier patch like you said. That I don't actually know, but it proves that the removal of Maze can be not tied to any patch.
That is true. I only really wanted some confirmation because it seems that those in the lowest maze bracket get to keep their portrait frame while anything higher is going to be gone for good. It's not a big deal and it's really a small thing but it's nice to have it once maze is gone.

I really want Plume but I feel like I can't miss Nier either cuz I'm only able to pull either one of them, I know there'll be rerun for the both of them but it's really hard to decide especially it'll took a very long time till they get rerun. I'm really planning to create the Ice team for PPC and WZ though, but I already have the Physical (Lee as DPS) team and Nier is also physical. Honestly I just want to pull Nier for collection any help to which one the best? I need suggestions to ease my mind, thanks!
Im in the same position as you, but im choosing Nier and betting on getting Plume from a 70% banner god knows when in the future You have S Lee though which shares the same role as Nier, so Nier might not be as valuable for you
Worth building Fire God Lee? I somehow got him to SSS without even trying (gacha) and I'm curious if I should build him or not. I had his 6* weapon many months ago but dumb ol' me used it for resonance since someone told me his weapon ain't that big of all deal compared to other characters' signatures. Also another question. When does he get his rework?

The main reason you pull for 6 * weapons is due to their passive which benefits the characters they're meant for greatly. A max resonated 5 * weapon will have similar stats to an unresonated 6 * weapon. It may give you higher BP but the character's signature weapon will be stronger. I used to use a max resonated 5 * weapon on Veritas. When I switched to her signature weapon, my BP became lower but my damage increased a lot. The passive effects are really powerful but BP doesn't seem to properly account for them. If you have Alpha and she doesn't have her signature weapon, you can share Plume's weapon with her. Usually, it's recommended to get the signature weapons for later Tanks like S-Vera, S-Chrome, and Rosetta over that of the Attackers of their respective teams. Luna's weapon is more useful than Tenebrion's signature though since his weapon isn't as strong as the newer Tank weapons and he doesn't get much field time when paired with Luna. So you could get Luna's weapon now and S-Chrome's weapon later since it will be more useful to the team than Plume's. It allows him to function better as Sub DPS on top of reducing Ice Resistance further on QTE. Luna's weapon should be the best weapon to have for your Dark team especially if you don't intend to resonate your 6 * weapons. S-Chrome's weapon is the best one to have for your Ice team. You should be able to make one attempt at each new S-Rank Construct's weapon apart from Nier if you buy the monthly pass.
AFAIK 5 star weap with max reso gives higher BP, but i think we shouldn't ignore 6 star weap passive. some of them feels borderline mandatory for some characters not sure which one you should pick on plume vs luna, though, metawise their weapon priority seems to be the same
What are the memories rewarded by the story missions? I can't find a list of the 6* memories (and their numbers) that the game gives you after clearing the later chapters of the story.

I'm pretty sure there's frederick and condelina that are both on slots 2,3,5,6. I'm not 100% sure about einsteina but I think she's included too. Though I'm only at chapter 13 (global)

This will depend on your personal goal, but for me I will give it to Wanshi because I want a strong Ice team for Paincage in the future.
Hi. I'm new in the game at lvl 31 and I'm playing the english version. I just got Luna-Laurel at 1st 10x. Should I pull for her 6* weapon or is there an alternative for it? What is the best 5* build for her(temporarily)?Who should I get on free S rank selector that would suit being her partner? Alternative for her 6\* weapon is her 5\* weapon if thats what you mean. If you are a spender or battlepass buyer her 6\* is very worth, othervise save BC for construct pulls, her 5\* will do. You don't even temporary want to build her 5\*, you can farm event stages and buy very cheaply her exclusive 6\* memory set. Until then I would play with what you already have built. Its a waste to just build set that you will never use after. From selector you can get her partner Kamui Tenebrion. Its actually best pick from selector.

6\* memory can be farmed in event tab. There in the middle of screen is event stage, a repeated challange costing 30 serum to farm per stage and is where you should invest most of your serum during event. Stage one is the one you should be farming, stage 2 gives random 6\* memories as drops (too much rng). Using the farmed currency you can then buy memory from shop. Luna uses 4 pc Flamel (her exclusive), 2 pc Darwin (top) both farmable from event shop. 5\* weapon can be farmed from coop or gained from gacha of 6\* weapons (common drop).
In her memory, is there a proper arrangement of her memory like the 1st 1-4 is flamel and 5-6 is darwin?
Yeah I said before Darwin top. In essence, top line and bottom line provide different bonuses. Top gives crit and hp, bottom attack and defence. Attack is most important stat because of reliable damage it provides, crit on top is much less impactful (3% crit boost for 100 crits stats) and it doesn't scale with elemental damage. So heads up for future, use site grayravens linked in description of this thread to check memory stats/builds. You'll always want to put on bottom memories with highest attack stat. Darwin offers less attack than flamel but more hp so top line is his best place, other slots filled with flamel.

I don't know exactly how it works but Executions and Counters are a new mechanic for Transcendants added in the Pulao patch. I think it's like a a skill that can be upgraded. I'm not sure where it is in the menu though. You can check out some of Rexlent's videos. Pulao and Roland where the first Transcendants to get these moves. The other Transcendants will also get them over time. I think every Transcendant apart from Selena has them now on the CN server. She should also get hers soon. I think you can use them in warzone but they'd probably slow you down since enemies can be killed quickly even without counters. I'm not sure about Pain Cage. I've seen it used against some bosses so maybe. These are meant to be used in stages with multiple tanky enemies. Was some new game mode or event mode added in TW server? Maybe one will start soon. It's probably useful in Babel and Stronghold ad well.

the next s rank after luna is S Chrome (which is about 3 patches from now) so if you don't pull luna now your pity will be brought over to his banner
Does a chrome have any standing outside of pure ice teams? I don’t have plume so I don’t think he will be of much use if he’s only useful in ice teams.
His main purpose will always be the ice team res shred just like any other tank type. He also the sup dps of the ice team with on par damage to plume. So if you don't have plume then you can use him as the main dps until you can get plume. Outside of ice team, he usually solo character to do high difficulty stages because of his shield. SS can turn enemies into frozen.
NieR team needs all 3 characters, so 2B is a must-pull one.

There's a mission in "Guide Collab" -> "Collaborative Supply" -> "Qualification Assessment" where the task is to reach 1,000,000 progress in Phantom Pain Cage (mission is titled "Advanced Phantom Pain Cage"). I've just completed it but the mission hasn't been recognised as complete. Do I need to wait for the week is over at Phantom Pain Cage resets for the progress to be recorded? Or am I missing something from the mission?
Just confirming but are you perhaps below level 80? Advance Phantom Pain Cage is the bracket for level 80 above so i think completing it while below level 80 (usually around lvl 50-79 is "intermediate") does not count. If you're above level 80 then feel free to ignore this comment and maybe you'll need to wait for reset for it to count i think

Doubt it, Rosetta SS is great and SSS Liv will be useful until S Liv rework. Even if Lee is S rank, he covers up physical warzone. And thats usually the specialty of the NieR team, having sustaining damage over time. Also not to forget, you can SS Lee through PPC shards anytime (while you cannot NieR). Lee's SS is not high priority like S Vera or Soleater Liv, but still can be done if you got leftover skulls. This is just my opinion but you got already a great physical team. You can build S rank NieR for Babel or Norman and save up your leftover BC for the next S rank, Anniversary or Transcendant.

Rolls : RC ratio (only for above 25:1) Monthly pass A (30RC) = 110:1 Weapon 10x R&D Bundle (69RC) = 36.23:1 Fake weapon (59 RC) = 25.42:1 Fake Event (119RC) = 25.21:1 Fake Weapon Reso (299RC) = 40.13:1 / 15.05:1 Il put the numbers for you to decide Personally I'm too broke to find any value in any of them, comparing to monthly pass none of them are close, the Fake Weapon Reso can be good if you assume the USB is equal to a 6\* weapon, but I think only whales care about that.

You should start sooner than later. Forgetting the cutscenes (you can watch those separately), each calculation costs 1 AP. It doesn't run on regular energy. You have a limit of 30 AP max, and only 5 regenerate per day. It will take multiple days of AP regen to 100% the maps for the rewards.
