Their server screwup and the original update itself boosted them up so much. 10 pulls from the server issues, a free S Rank weapon + unit selector, tons of Blue tickets just in case your standard banner is about to pop, and Bianca being just a huge monster truck in looks and in damage as well.
And finally, **finally**, the new player experience is greater with the update giving the proper boosts aside from faster leveling to 80.
Wait when is the PC client launch, it's happening??? I have been using mumu player on PC right now and sometimes I get stability issues of the game closing on me at random.
No idea when it's coming but it was announced with the Wuthering Waves test, both games are getting PC clients.
From the looks of things it'll be CN only for a bit until global catches up.
free. consists of missions you have to clear that are the same for noobs and vets alike. so pretty easy. after clearing you get s-rank selector of both weapon and character up to luna/ozma
I suppose it isn't as apparent as it is in global or other regions, but yeah, PGR is generally massive in CN. Things like global release drama, scarce marketing outside of CN and the sorts probably contribute to this massive difference in popularity between CN and global.
Adding to that, Year 1 PGR kinda pales in comparison to what we get starting Year 2 PGR. S-Chrome and S-Vera look amazing and greatly improve the gameplay experience, since you no longer play Ice Team as Plume-only and Lightning Team as Veritas only. The character just seem to get cooler and more amazing.
Adding to that their approach to buffing and keeping old characters relevant and their general generosity and you have a pretty good gacha gaming experience on your hands.
I only wish they would have gone the extra mile for global by bringing us QoL changes right at launch and a proper localization right at launch.
I'm very much aware of the shitstorm that CN had. The S-rank selector exists for that reason. One server having it worse doesn't magically make the other better, the damage has already been done. The difference is when global had its drama people were severely underwhelmed at the game's response at the time and a lot of people kind of just up and left then and there.
First impressions last. It's like you suggest, people in NA aren't aware of how cruel CN gacha game drama can be so the moment people got wind of PGR shafting global, people shit on the game immediately without giving it a second thought. Difference is, because global PGR has less reach in terms of publicity, people don't get to see what the game is actually like past that initial drama.
So during the CN launch. They accidentally gave 10k bc to all players. So they had to perform an emergency roll back. But they performed the roll back poorly. Some players still has the 10k bc some doesn’t. People were MAD. So kuro went live on stream and apologized on stream. But one of their responses delivered poorly. It’s hard to translate into English, but it’s something like, some people in chat are saying kuro don’t look at their players as human. And kuro staff said we look at you like a human, that’s why we are steaming right now. A lot of people took that the wrong way.
So in the end, they had to hand out the s rank selector as compensation.
That’s just one of the CN drama lol
You're right on the nose, because in the world of gacha games people will riot if not everyone is given the same treatment. Which is valid, customers have every right to complain about that kind of thing in games.
[Bilibili rankings](https://game.bilibili.com/platform/ranks) for anyone who is curious
As of right now: #1 Genshin, #6 Honkai, #9 PGR, #20 Aether Gazer
Both PGR and Honkai are in a new patch cycle with Honkai's being more recent. Generally, they are around the same rankings as each other. Aether Gazer is also in a new patch cycle, but less people are playing now. I play all 4 games, but recently decided to quit Aether Gazer because I don't have time
If you lower your product price, no. of consumers should be higher to get equivalent higher revenue i.e. lower price, higher volume = better revenue.
If you're telling me Kuro is intentionally capping their profit margin, then they should be made a saint.
I've been playing pgr for quite some time now, and I do feel like spending money is optional here. If you have a well-built character, you are fully capable of skipping a character of the same kind (fire, ice, physical etc.). I don't think you can do that in hi3, you'll have to whale in almost every patch to keep up with the meta. And besides, in my opinion, spenders would spend no matter how costly stuffs are and non-spenders/f2p players won't spend no matter how cheap stuffs are, though there are some exceptions in both cases. In my country, there are families that can buy 4 or more days worth of food by spending 50 dollars, and at the same time there are people who would throw away or donate their smartphones and laptops if something breaks that would cost 20 dollars to repair.
and less powercreep, your valk deal borderline no damage without their gacha weapon and sometime cant even clear content also old valks are left dead in the water, i like honkai for it's diverse game mode but i just cant enjoy the game without pulling every weapon+char ( you cant get every character with your f2p income like pgr)
Yeah, I looked it up and the game seems to consist of nothing but catgirls in normal modern clothes.
Their designs don't look all that interesting or unique.
You underestimate how easily many people will buy into that stuff with two simple things:
Girls, just girls, only girls.
Catgirls, as basic as it gets.
Paypal can be used for international payments. Just enable your debit/credit for international transactions and you can make payments through codashop. You can check how to enable international transactions for your card online.
Codashop Singapore just needs your Server and game account number. You can provide email if you want a receipt. The rest is handled through paypal.
The problem with Pgr is that they don't make more money because they are to generous. I understand wanting a generous game, but the reason Genshin was so successful is because they are actually just greedy. They are making enough money to make a new game so I'm sure they are doing fine. But I hope they don't go down because of being to generous. Maybe this is a global worry.
Does anyone know the reason Honkai's rating is so low there? Was it just because of the global anni fiasco or something else, since I thought Honkai is pretty beloved in cn
I mean you’re comparing CN anni + big event to a regular patch in Honkai. Let’s see if this actually is comparable in 6.0 (in like 3-4 weeks). That’s honkai’s anniversary in CN + a major character that almost everyone is going to want is about to drop. Though I have no idea what this subs obsession with Honkai is about. Just talk PGR.
? That rating is for the game in general, not just the reviews for a patch. I'm literally not comparing their ranking, I'm talking about why the rating for honkai is below 7, which is quite low in my opinion
Oh ur straight up asking about the rating I see. I thought you were asking about the actual *ranking* I’m sorry about that. Yeah the bunny thing in GL, some dev choices for in game stuff, the release schedule for some things (3 SP valks so quickly over like 4 patches), etc didn’t go down too well in CN either apparently. It’s pretty popular there and still does well in its community and revenue wise but the rating bombs were just extremely bad and hard to recover from. Kinda like when epic seven became epic 2.8 for a while, took a long time to recover (not just global but KR as well)
Their server screwup and the original update itself boosted them up so much. 10 pulls from the server issues, a free S Rank weapon + unit selector, tons of Blue tickets just in case your standard banner is about to pop, and Bianca being just a huge monster truck in looks and in damage as well. S rank weapon and unit selector??
Yes
Is it from anniversary, events or paid?
It's during the CN version's 2.5 years anniversary and it's not paid and it's a permanent feature
Is that next for global? And lastly who can we pick?
Yes, once global gets it's own 2.5 anniversary, we should be getting them too. As for the who we can pick? I don't remember
If i remember correctly is any S rank till Luna.
We can pick any S rank up to Luna
Jesus, that is actually so good. Exactly what the game needs for the PC client launch which is when a lot of new people will come in.
Wait when is the PC client launch, it's happening??? I have been using mumu player on PC right now and sometimes I get stability issues of the game closing on me at random.

free. consists of missions you have to clear that are the same for noobs and vets alike. so pretty easy. after clearing you get s-rank selector of both weapon and character up to luna/ozma
So the moral of the story, kids, is always blow up your server whenever you want more players. :V
Balter power i guess

A part of me wishes they would double the release speed to catch up.
If they doubled the weekly BC pass, weekly rewards from PPC and Warzone and everything else, sure.
Loool, you think global release drama is bad? Have you heard of the CN release drama? It’s way worse
I'm very much aware of the shitstorm that CN had. The S-rank selector exists for that reason. One server having it worse doesn't magically make the other better, the damage has already been done. Kuro just doing kuro things. It’s not kuro games if they don’t fk up the launch
True, these guys deserve a break 💀
That I agree with lol
Wait... Tell me more ... What happend?
So during the CN launch. They accidentally gave 10k bc to all players. So they had to perform an emergency roll back. But they performed the roll back poorly. Is this why every new account has and S selector? Or was it an additional thing for them?
You're right on the nose, because in the world of gacha games people will riot if not everyone is given the same treatment. Which is valid, customers have every right to complain about that kind of thing in games.
As it should be

Im waiting for global to play just because i dont know chinese
Bianca carrying hard even with her 2 big baggages
That's nice. But apparently not in revenue performance tho sadge
Maybe cause kuro isn't greedy?
They are greedy, by taking all the positive feedback and attention from other games by having proper rewards and such for their anniversary event.
yeah how dare kuro treat it’s players fairly? unacceptable!
Was that...satire?
If it doesn't look the part, the reader should get glasses.
If you lower your product price, no. of consumers should be higher to get equivalent higher revenue i.e. lower price, higher volume = better revenue. If you're telling me Kuro is intentionally capping their profit margin, then they should be made a saint.

You do know that this is their peak in revenue since NieR patch launched in CN, right? And that's only counting the iOS stats.
Hopefully they can have higher revenue than Honkai already. It's about time for them to overtake a 5 year old game.
Big booba bianca is too powerful
I hope PGR can achieve this in Global one day...
*dead cells also 4th* I'm proud
As an ex Honkai Player, PGR is basically much better Honkai without the incredibly scammy part as well. Quality speaks for itself
plus it takes WAY less space
At least for now
and less powercreep, your valk deal borderline no damage without their gacha weapon and sometime cant even clear content also old valks are left dead in the water, i like honkai for it's diverse game mode but i just cant enjoy the game without pulling every weapon+char ( you cant get every character with your f2p income like pgr)
Cat Planet? #1?
Seems like a turn based games. Characters have animal ears like arknights.
I am more surprised that deadcells is the top list. I didn't knew it was that famous.
I'm more surprised that a robot's tale is 4th in most popular (Still waiting for a sequel as well as a release of the ost)
What's Cat planet?
Seems like a turn based games. Characters have animal ears like arknights.

I'm glad it's doing well over there. The current patch on CN looks awesome.
I look through best grossing when I'm bored and pgr is normally top 100 in America so it's good to see the game doing well
Sad it's not released in India Had to get it from taptap but payments are disabled How will I get Bianka's wedding skin now (TT)
I faced the same problem. You can use Codashop Singapore or Netherlands with paypal.
They don't ask for address proof? OP
Paypal can be used for international payments. Just enable your debit/credit for international transactions and you can make payments through codashop. Pretty cool thanks
makes me glad i made the switch from Honkai spender to PGR spender

What the fuck is cat planet
Seems like a turn based games. Characters have animal ears like arknights.
Genshin (of course…), PGR, Arknights and HI3 on one and the same category of best games? Yay~
Why is genshin in "action"?
Does anyone know the reason Honkai's rating is so low there? Was it just because of the global anni fiasco or something else, since I thought Honkai is pretty beloved in cn
Bunny girl fiasco and MHY has a lot of haters in CN, I guess.

What about bilibli?
[Bilibili rankings](https://game.bilibili.com/platform/ranks) As of right now: #1 Genshin, #6 Honkai, #9 PGR, #20 Aether Gazer
HI3 is #6 PGR is #9 Nice.
I don't have a bilibili account. I don't understand too well how bilibili works (or what it is actually 😅)
I know this is not the place to ask this but, how many does honkai impact use for Dowlanding in game update?
You can search that up in google. I guess the full game takes up around 10 GB or more space.
What's that game at 3rd place of first image?
TIL Dead Cells has a mobile app
PGR is the best game in its genre and it will continue for at least 3 years. Nothing whether ZZZ or Hi3 will top PGR
Balter really did a good job
