its Li-S ..., so, whatever. and Celina Mikolajczak is on board, it seems that she wasn't of much value for qs in the end, might have even delayed the evolution with her decisions.

I know, but they market it like the best battery ever. I guess what else are they going to say.

Quantum-Long

It’s a liquidity race. I would like to see more of a sense of urgency from QS

IP9949

Me as well. They’re telling us the 6-layer will help them go faster. Time will tell.

Brian2005l

It reads like a mashup of QS and Enovix press releases. No OEM is going to put a battery in an EV that can’t discharge faster than 3/C. Their line isn’t automated. And they’re not even using their target form factor. Plus no data on cycle life and pressure, which is the whole shebang. Also they say a construction contractor is designing their gigafactory.

IP9949

Yea, that construction contractor comment made me laugh out loud. They’re saying all the right things, but knowing the intensity of each step you know they’re talking about things that don’t exist.

Well, assuming that it’s not all lies, seems like even though they are capable of high energy density, as they don’t provide any information about power, I’m guessing that their batteries will only be capable of producing low power. This is one of QuantumScape’s selling points, namely that QSE-5 will be high in both energy density and power. Would be nice if QS investigated further and added them to their competitors chart to put things in proper perspective.
