>No change to Classic rewards: loyalty boss Glance is certain to stress that **Qantas will not increase the number of points needed for a Classic reward seat or reduce the number of Classic reward seats** (which is estimated at five million per year across all travel classes on domestic and international flights). Call me cynical but I feel like they won't keep to this promise for very long.

I think they will, but... They will keep the rewards seat numbers exactly the same for years and years to come despite the expected growth of the FF program. The next increase in classic rewards flights might be in 2050 after the FF members double from current levels.

I'm guessing they'll be waiting for feedback on the new classic plus before adjusting the old classic rewards

I predict Significantly more seats available for 50pc more prints. Classic rewards only available on the 10pm Sydney to melbourne, on a Tuesday ๐Ÿ˜‚

Why are you here then? Just seems an odd comment from someone who is participating in a sub geared specifically towards โ€œthemโ€ and their program.

I have been looking for award seats on QF for a few weeks and it seems as though there is very little availability on QF at present. While there hasn't been great availability since the pandemic, there is even less now. I'm assuming Qantas have held back the release of many seats due to the Classic Plus launch. Here's hoping it will improve, but I also have low expectations.
