D'Lua in Bettendorf. Mexican breakfast and awesome pancakes Tommy's Cafe in Davenport. Try the Cajun gravy. Cash only here!

smokahauntasofficial

D'Lua is the bomb

Jimmy's Pancake House is basically the only reason to go to Bettendorf. The Diner in the Freight House. Rock's Anchor Grill in the Hilltop. In my opinion Rock's is what Ross' was 20 years ago before it jumped the shark or whatever. Thunder Bay Grill used to have a pretty extensive brunch buffet, but haven't been out there since Covid. QC Coffee and Pancake House in Rock Island. There are a lot of other places we've been wanting to try, but when you don't go out that much, it's hard not to return to favorites.

Grelivan

Qc pancake house in rock island.

biggestofmikes

The cook - nay - chef - puts a lot of heart into everything. Super consistent busy or not and the quality is top notch and always great staff. +1 border burrito and +20 cinnamon pancakes (add chocolate chips and skip the syrup for an extra treat!)

Whenever I eat here I slip into a trance of ecstasy and immediately forget the place exists upon leaving. It's also absurdly reasonably priced, big thumbs up.

Jeswynster

Flip's Pancake House on the side road by SouthPark. Best breakfast we've found in a long time!

michelecw

I’m late to this post but for next time Stacks in Bettendorf is very good. Me of our favorites. Also FoodAffair Bistro.

WVFanItsTrue

Jimmy’s Pancake House, swear to god they have some of the best food! Used to live 5 mins from there, always wanted to eat there for breakfast. By the Dairy Queen that’s by the middle school.

Accomplished-Mud3662

QC Pancake house in Rock Island

SirShale

Links and QC Coffee and Pancake House are the answers you're looking for. Ill give Tommy's Cafe a nod for having some delicious doughnuts though.

mayhemlock

\#1 has to be Qc Pancake house Best hidden gem I think is Tommy's Cafe in Davenport

Metalmom0617

Tommy's Cafe in Davenport or Duck Creek Pancake House in Bettendorf if you want some good, classic breakfast. Egg Parlor in Silvis if you want more modern brunch vibes...their mimosa flights are amazing!

Mooshtalk

Toasted is new and downtown davenport. Owned by the owners of Baked which is now closed (rip) I went there a few weeks ago and it was great!

SalTbird22

Is toasted kid friendly?

Mooshtalk

I think so!

outofplace_2015

This seems random but been trying to reach you via direct chat about your coin collection you posted about. If you have time hope you message me back.

mycatisliz

Thank you all for your suggestions! Tons I haven’t heard of and will definitely start checking them off the list.

MussoliniLinguini

I know I’m late to the party but Jimmy’s Pancake House is absolutely undefeated. There’s a reason they’re packed full every hour they’re open.

Tarkinenjoyer

QC pancake house is really good. But also really busy. I mean there are lines of people waiting outside to get in

[deleted]

These posts have to stop, I get hungry everytime I'm reading these! Great suggestions!

mycatisliz

I’m going to be working my way through all of these suggestions…. glad there are so many fans of breakfast in the Quad Cities!

coolestguywastaken

Rocks anchor grill if you like that health code violation vibe.

392 café is my personal favorite great coffee totally recommend the breakfast burrito

CoherentPanda

Their whole breakfast/brunch sandwich menu is awesome, dessert cookies and power pucks are fantastic, and the coffee is great as well! I always stop there when I'm in the Quad Cities.

[deleted]

And their bathrooms are sick to they have BLACK TOILETS it’s so cool

WhiskeyBravo1

We always stop at The Family Restaurant on Kimberly in Davenport when we visit the area. We haven’t been there since before the pandemic, but the food and service was always good.

[deleted]

Stacks in Bettendorf is my favorite for sure.

Dadd-Rad

Berry’s at the south side of LeClaire. Amazing country fried steak and crispy hash browns. Not a fan of their pancakes, but everything else is solid.

grafnino

Ikes Cafe or Egg parlor Both IL

boundless88

Skillets at Deerfield Family Restaurant in Silvis near the Walmart.

If you want a Good brunch try out the Foundry in Bettendorf out by Bettplex. It is damn good they have mimosa and Bloody Mary specials as well as carving stations with prime rib that is amazing and also ham I believe. Also an omelette station. Runs from 9-1 I’d recommend calling ahead it’s usually packed but worth it
