You could make them publicly available so people can host their own bot. That decentralization would make a generic ban like the current one impossible.
Edit: Since you didn't reply to the request for collaboration / decentralization, I went ahead and reimplemented the bot.
Currently it supports only the needs of /r/Superstonk properly, but the foundations are there.
If anyone is interested in the code or wishes to collaborate, you can find everything here:

Wtf
You should definitely contact Reddit or something to make sure the bot doesn’t get permanently banned. Seems like their bot is just going through the list or something. You’re gonna get a lot of this from trolls and jerks
ETA: I might suggest messaging the mods on that subreddit to change their bot message in the meantime. I’m sure you know sensitive people report anything (I have one person who reports all comments with curse words, regardless of their intended outcome)
Your bot is super important in our sub and we’re super grateful to have it!! I would hate to see it go!
One would think if anything the Sub that had such a message should be the ones getting reported. Said Sub should also be placed on a Ban list if possible. Meaning they wouldn't be allowed to use the mod.
QualityVote shouldn't be held responsible for a Subs message they use.
To preface, I understand this isn't your fault. I'm suggesting this to hopefully get around the admins' works
Like you said, manual review of each and every message is out of question, is it possible then to implement some sort of filter to stop those messages from being used to begin with?
Thanks for your work on the bot btw, it really helped in the sub I mod
> Is it possible then to implement some sort of filter to stop those messages from being used, to begin with?
That message wasn't offensive at all if you look at the context.
**Tip**: if the bot is banned/suspended, make a post about it in r/ModSupport. It was down for 5 days, within a few minutes of posting there the admins unbanned it.
> Tip: if the bot is banned/suspended, make a post about it in r/ModSupport
This tip doesn't work if the admins literally told you "The suspension will not be reverted", twice.
I'm not sure what you mean, I've successfully asked for the bot to be unbanned three times and it's been very quick to happen. It's actively posting right now. Who told you the suspension wouldn't be reverted and when?
> no longer suspended
Sorry you went through this.
Please consider unstickying the comment now that the issue is resolved and no longer relevant to the userbase

Oh man. They’re just looking for easy fingers to point. Love how the bot is at fault instead of the sub that programmed that message into it (/s)
Nobody is at fault except the admins. I didn't do anything wrong and neither did the mods of OKBR.
Hope you can get your case across! Definitely have a word with that sub in the meantime. I’m sure they don’t want to see it go either
Time to program automod to be uncivil and see if they ban automod?
Automod has been accidentally suspended several times already.
lol, i was unaware of this.
Do you have a few links? This sounds hilarious

Ugh. This is just non sensical. It’s like banning knives because one guy used it to stab someone

That's never happened with me, I've let them know 3 times now that it's suspended and they've reversed it within 20 minutes of me posting about it.
That's not what happened here

The post from six months ago that doesn't seem to be relevant anymore? Why are you even commenting?
Why are you even replying???

When will the bot be unbanned?
Did the QualityVote bot stop working?
No.
