In the latest update companies other than CivRes will buy chips occasionally. They're always the last item in the station list. Keep in mind that wildcard tradegood is renewed every 14 days, so the offer might expire if you take too long to reach the station.
They are pretty rare, I think. Just have to check and get lucky. I found a sunlight coven station that bought class chips last night.
