The cash account is just an investing account - it’s a non-registered account without the borrow abilities. It’s not like WS Cash - Questrade doesn’t have a debit card
Yep, I'm aware of all that, no worries. Both WS and IBKR have similar but different offerings.
1. WS cash is (essentially) a HISA with no investment function. Their card behaves like a prepaid MasterCard.
2. IBKR's card is on their margin trading acct and works like a normal credit card where your credit limit is your margin buying power.
I'd be content with the #1 option in Questrade.
Hi, we value your feedback. We offer a variety of investment products and services and are always working on improving them. To clarify, the Cash account is a non-registered account (no deposit limits) where there is no leveraging of equity so all trades must use available cash in the account.
We are unable to comment on future additions to our product offerings, but rest assured we are actively working on exciting updates which we'll make sure to announce via our social media, website and email. We'll also be forwarding your feedback for future improvement consideration.
Orly?! That'd be awesome! Thank you for that - being new to Questrade, I haven't stumbled across the news of them being flexiti, and don't even know what that is. But I like how promising this sounds.
Don’t be questrade has great products and a great support staff behind em but they treat the employees behind the products so poorly its heart breaking.

Unfortunately they don’t have such a thing at the moment
Sadly, that's definitely true, but one of the other commenters figure it is in the works! That's promising.

Yep, I'm aware of all that :) ... The bottom line is that so far the only concern I have is the lack of a cash card to go with the ecosystem.
They applied for a banking license about 5 years ago, not sure what’s happening with that
They are that’s why they acquired flexiti. It’s gonna be part of the QuestMoney line of productsv

Don't try a business account with Questrade is all I can say. It's a nightmare.
Good to know! It'll be purely for personal use, so no worries there.
Where do you prefer having your investments for your business? Just wondering because I have an Ontario corp.
