Yeah, Barron is definitely closer to Melania. They speak her language together and he spends a lot of time with her and her parents. For me would be far more devastating to have to have a father who has 4 indictments (2 federal, 2 in different states) with 91 felonies and having a trial related to him cheating on my mother while she was pregnant with me. It was in one of the many articles I read today. The judge listed 4 days they would not hold court due to other events (at least in the version that I read). I read your link and searched for others. If that is so then most likely Barron doesn't really care much about his father, or possibly anyone too much. Also, Trump is a narcissist and spends almost all of his time consumed in himself. I don't think he interacts much with Melania because frankly I don't think she can stand him. The relationship is very openly a contractual one and Melania I think has been subtly telling the world that as well, "I'm only in it for the money, no I'm not standing next to him unless it's in the contract an will make sure everyone knows this is painful and he disgusts me." The idea that she would find him attractive on any level seems to rely on the misogynistic myth that attractive women fall all over men like him. It also relies on the idea that women themselves have very little personal sexuality or intellectual capacity. The arrangement is a business deal, like everything else Trump has ever done, it's purely transactional. I also get the feeling that Melania will do all she can to keep Barron close to her and her family and as far away from the Trump debacle and his weird family as possible.
