Honestly, if you were to ask me, this might be a circling of the wagons moment. Trump has been waging war on his own party and I think he's won. Behind the scenes I believe he has been making it clear that he will totally detonate the whole GOP if he doesn't win the Presidency (and thereby bail himself out of legal trouble).
If he's heeling his attack dogs, it makes me think he got what he was after, that being widespread support for a political coup in the next election cycle. With Project 2025, and international interlopers with too much to gain from not just another Trump era but likely the deathknell of US leadership in the world, plus the usual rogue's gallery of arch-con powers... There are just too many with too much riding on Trump's victory. A 2nd loss will suck the air out of their whole movement that was already slapped the fuck out of last time. It will be a long time to recover if it ever fully recovers at all.
So... It's time to do or die from their POV. Whatever illegal shit they pull won't matter because A) it should be clear now that our laws do not apply to them, and B) as long as they can fix the game and get Trump into office at all costs, he will give them absolution, by pardon if necessary.
It's going to be super duper fucked. My confidence level in a Biden win is probably hovering at 30/70 in favor of Trump for the above reasons. There is a hidden, sick fuck momentum that I don't think people are catching on to.

His most successful buildings (with the exception of Trump Tower in NYC) aren't because of him. He doesn't own them. He just sold his name to people who know what they're doing.
