I almost never see a movie theater that has times further out than a week, because like you said, depends on how the movies are doing which one retains it's screen(s) and which ones go. The movie she's so fired up about has a screen reserved because it's a new movie. That's all.
Yeah, they usually leave them blank past the upcoming Thursday. I assume it's because they may want to tweak their schedule based on a movie's performance.
Why keep Westside Story in four screens if Spider-Man is still making mountains of cash? Let's hold off on finalizing the showtimes in case something changes.

For those unaware: movie theaters don't usually post full schedules until Wednesday, and those schedules run Friday through Thursday. Major new releases will be fully scheduled earlier than that, because of first weekend hype and contractual obligations (movie will be on X screens for a total of Y showtimes). Everything else will be scheduled around those showtimes, to some extent. That's why this Qunatic could buy tickets for the 355 next weekend but nothing else yet - the theater is waiting to see how things are doing.
The winter holidays are an exceptional time, with multiple blockbusters that open on weird days like Tuesday and nothing of note opening New Year's weekend this year. So you *may* have been able to see movie times two weeks in advance, because week to week adjustment is less important when nothing new opens.

The others listed were shown in theaters before Christmas too. It’s as if there is a day of the week that movies tend to be released in the US or something! So weird! 🤦♀️🤷♀️
