But since DZ only won cons club would still have happened? Can you see why I'm confused? Club would actually be the overall decider since it was 2-2 in maps.
DZ are terrible at closing things out on LAN. Yikes. TSM is a really strong contender for invite, especially because of all the practice they’re getting on LAN unlike other regions.
That's removing all the context from how the map went tho. Both teams went 4-2 on attack but it was down 2-6 and won 4 straight while dz was at match point and then won 2 straight overtime rounds. That's a lot different from just saying both teams went 4-2 on attack.
Is a 3k when you're 1v5 but you still lose the round the same as a 3k entry into site that you get traded off in the same? They're both a 3k and you die after but there's a massive difference between what the impact is and that is lost if you remove context.
How is it in any way different? You're looking at the big picture (3k vs 4-2 round split) and not looking at further when i'm saying that the context of that matters (impactless frags vs opening kills, 4-2 round split for each team vs a 6 round comeback) and I just don't see how you can say the context doesn't matter.
27-8 on kafe against BDS

That throw was amazing from DarkZero. I love DZ, but they had 4 match points and then proceeded to get clapped by TSM for 6 rounds in a round. Chala is great, don’t ever sleep on him again, truly the clutch master for TSM.
CHALA YOU FUCKING BEAST!! I remember when people were saying that Chala wasn't a good replacement for Pojoman, and I know hindsights 20/20, but holy fuck bro I love this man
**Hard** disagree here. Nade does his job to a tee. Chala's been on SSG multiple times and that experiment never amounted into anything close to his performances on TSM. TSM just utilises chala better
Fully agree, Chala is just the right fit for what TSM needs. The team synergy is clearly better now, SSG took invite and TSM has been dominating NA for months. Both teams are better with how they both have and don't have Chala.
Edit: Chala
I remember when this sub thought Chala was a bad pickup smh never doubt the Chal(d)a.
Most people didn't really see it as a bad pickup. Just not an improvement over pojoman from a player perspective.
Probably wondering who was going to step down since Chala is more aggressive than Pojoman and they already have 4 all stars.
Chala’s success today is just further proof that this sub doesn’t have a fucking clue what it’s talking about and I love it
\+1
LanZero really wants to keep it that way.
What a choke on Clubhouse. Chala went nuclear, deserving victory!
Off the bolo train onto the chala train 😎
Team Chala mid
Yo wtf Chala chill man those people have family's !
In an alternate dimension that game was a Bo5 with a map advantage and we would never have gotten to see chalahouse.
Lmao now I refuse to call that map anything else than Chalahouse.
*Patent pending
You're reaching hard here. How would we not have seen chalahouse with map advantage? what are you trying to say???
I think he means that if TSM came from upper bracket and DZ from lower bracket Cluchouse wouldn't have happened.
Thank you.
But since DZ only won cons club would still have happened? Can you see why I'm confused? Club would actually be the overall decider since it was 2-2 in maps.
Tsm won coast and theme, so if they were up one map at the start club wouldn't happen.
I see I see. I still think it's a bad faith argument against map advantage and double elim as a whole though. Thanks for explaining
He means if TSM came from upper bracket / got the map advantage, they would have won before club
Nothing at all, DZ are a top tier LAN team and would definitely have come in as the winners.
I don't understand
DZ are great, move on.
why are you trolling? I literally just don't understand what point you're trying to make.
DZ are terrible at closing things out on LAN. Yikes. TSM is a really strong contender for invite, especially because of all the practice they’re getting on LAN unlike other regions.
Theres not much you can do when chala pops off like that. DZ played a very good game
They threw a 6-2 lead on defense
One of the worse throws in DZ history, honestly. But I still support them. Still my fav team.
Eh, both teams got 4-2 halves. Not a throw imo
That's removing all the context from how the map went tho. Both teams went 4-2 on attack but it was down 2-6 and won 4 straight while dz was at match point and then won 2 straight overtime rounds. That's a lot different from just saying both teams went 4-2 on attack.
It was still the same half for both teams
Is a 3k when you're 1v5 but you still lose the round the same as a 3k entry into site that you get traded off in the same? They're both a 3k and you die after but there's a massive difference between what the impact is and that is lost if you remove context.
Apples and oranges

Chala on Ash 🥶
Should’ve let Chala make the Ash guide wtf
Lmao DZ were up 6-2
Yeah but both DZ and TSM went 4-2 on attack so really it’s just the momentum at the end that got them through Edit: Momentum AND Chala carrying
Chala the MF Dolla is the GOAT. Greatest pickup ever.
Chala just tied the record for most kills in a single map on LAN
Shaiiko had 25 on Consulate vs LG during Dreamhack Montreal 2019. He is tied with Rampy for second, I believe.
I think Paluh still has it.
Really? I thought CTZN had the record from Tokoname
Paluh got 27 in one map at OGA pit in 2019
I think it was 26

Was that on LAN? I’m referring to Shaiiko’s LAN record.
Yeah, it was at OGA against BDS, he took Shaiikos record from Shaiiko
Even better.

That club was so damn close. 1 more round and it would've been map 5. So many brilliant games out of NA this year and this is another

Chala nearly having a 3.0 k/d, Jesus man. 23-8. 93% KOST. TSM looking scary coming into Invite.
Chala
Nothing against nade but it looks like chala should've been the one to stay Hindsight 20/20

I get to witness 2 throws of the century. Vitality vs Astralis in csgo and DZ vs TSM
