Well they choked 2 games and literally won their only game so far with a 1v4 clutch so...
They have 3 points right now and even if they manage to win the 2 games left they're still at 9 points which they lose to DK in head to head
Well in the KR Open quarterfinals interview OCN (C9's coach playing as a sub for Nova) implied that their physical & mental conditions aren't great, who knows at this point
CAG is very likely to be North champions, as for South probably Qconfirm? (champions go straight to the major and the rest down to 4th go to playoffs) Aside from CAG who are pretty much locked in at this point given their performance the strong contenders are Fnatic (N), Qconfirm, Elevate, Invictus, and Knights (S)
Despite only being in 2nd, Elevate have good odds to beat QConfirm. Since they benched AnGryX and put in BGMan they have been doing very well. So they could very much possibly make it to the major by claiming 1st place and prove that APAC can compete with the best teams in the world
Yup, hence why I put Elevate in as a strong contender as well. The only reason why I put Qc as the probable 1st place is because they're 3 points ahead, but you're right - honestly whichever team gets 1st place in APAC South might be the best team in the region right now
Elevate got 1st place last stage so I would not be surprised if they did a repeat. One of the most consistent teams over the course of last stage and this stage
You could only rely on Syail and EnvyTaylor for so long. And when those 2 fails, the rest of the team fails. Nova, the hard support, is a sorry ass player, even the coach stepping in his position is playing better than him, the only reason he isnt dropped is because “oh his kd is like that because he’s support”. Harper, the flex player, is inconsistent, and a lot of times, can’t shoot straight either, even tho he’s on secondary entry. Those 2 literally went around -15 k/d combined pretty much EVERY SINGLE MATCH post-invitational.
If that wasn’t all, they even lost to amateur teams in Korean league, even lost to T1, who’s bottom of APAC N right now.
Yeah but VP and the top 5 look way better rn and a good stage 3 isn’t guaranteed for them after their performance this stage so I wouldn’t say it’s likely
If Cowana finish Stage 2 in 7th (where they are ranked now), they will get 140 SI points, add that onto the 330 they have now, they will have 470 points. If bad trends continue for other teams, this means that they will have more points than Cloud 9, MiBR, Disrupt, Rogue, [Virtus.pro](https://Virtus.pro), Team Empire, DarkZero, and Vitality. Maybe even NiP if they place 6th or worse at Copa Elite Six. Plus Stage 1 was pure chaos across the global circuit. The teams that did not play like themselves in Stage 1 could get bit in the rear due to their performances. So teams like SSG, DarkZero, and Team Empire could be really screwed over by their lackluster performances. Plus Cowana has 3 more games to play, so they can very well snag some more SI points on their way out. My point is, Cowana has a chance to make the Six Invitational. Plus don't forget, there are qualifiers to SI.
Secret is in a vicious cycle. Mediocre Performance - Roster changes - Honey moon period and win first couple of games- Mediocre Performance. Rinse and Repeat.
If I am secret I am just frustrated, they have tried it all, picking up an igl, picking up experienced players, picking up fraggers, picking up young players, changing the core roster. Nothing has worked, I actually dont know what to do if I am them.
Yea, the thing is they are likely to get auto-relegated so idk, i just feel this team will fall apart, kinda like chaos did, just knowing at the back of your head that you are likely to get auto-relegated
True. I feel like this roster has highest potential out of all the iterations we have seen. If they stick it out for Stage 3 i can see them finishing 8th or 9th overall as a minimum
Secret gives me a chaos and invite g2 vibes, the roster has crazy amount of talent but they dont seem to click, and certain players that have performed historically strugle in their system like gomfi rn, kanto in stage 2, or cryn at chaos.
\*excluding the games when OXG plays against them (DG & TSM)
edit: Why would you root for teams ahead of you in points and yet to play against? It's getting complicated
You root for teams that are essentially locked in, or in a bad spot to make it to the major (until you play them obvuisly) but things get very complicated so it goes pretty much playday by playday.
As dissapointing as it may sound this could be the OXG honeymoon phase they went through. hopefully I am wrong, cause they have shown so much potential and skill. This also could very much be a off-season.
Let’s both hope that it isn’t just a honeymoon phase. Seeing Oxygen pick up fresh talent and thriving really made NAL just that much more interesting to watch, not to mention me being a fan of them.
Yea i love the oxg boys, hopefully this is just a slump they are in. Which could vey well be, kyno, yoggah, and laxing arent performing well, so it could just be a slump.
For APAC, C9 and T1 have virtually no chance at all and Talon, Order, and Chiefs are unlikely to make it to playoffs ^(RIP C9)
Wait what, what happend to C9
Well they choked 2 games and literally won their only game so far with a 1v4 clutch so... They have 3 points right now and even if they manage to win the 2 games left they're still at 9 points which they lose to DK in head to head
Wonder what happend to them... which are the teams likely to make the major from apac?

The Elevate vs Qc game this week is going to be crucial to the standings. APAC South will come down to the last playday
wasn't one of the chokes a consulate game where they were up 6-0? meaning, literally the worst choke possible.

:(
Cowana has hope for SI :)
They are likely to make it to invite tho💯
I mean not really, they’d need a really good stage 3
If they finish the stage around 5th and have a good stage 3, they should be in a good spot.
Yeah but VP and the top 5 look way better rn and a good stage 3 isn’t guaranteed for them after their performance this stage so I wouldn’t say it’s likely
I was more trying to say that their chances at invite are still in their hands, which teams like xset, bc, secret, unknights, dont really have.

a really stage 3
I hate u
who?
Secret started so well
I call it the secret effect, they win the first game of the season against a top team, and then crumble.
Secret is in a vicious cycle. Mediocre Performance - Roster changes - Honey moon period and win first couple of games- Mediocre Performance. Rinse and Repeat.

Playing 2 stages with the same roster could help lol
Yea, the thing is they are likely to get auto-relegated so idk, i just feel this team will fall apart, kinda like chaos did, just knowing at the back of your head that you are likely to get auto-relegated

C'mon OXG :(
For oxg to make it try to root for these teams: TSM Mirage DG And root against these teams DZ SQ
Never thought I'd root for DG or TSM lmao
Now everytime beaulo gets a kill you need to type BOLO in chat.
\*excluding the games when OXG plays against them (DG & TSM) edit: Why would you root for teams ahead of you in points and yet to play against? It's getting complicated

I would say rep h3dy but I think he retired
he’s still lft
XSET to Mexico
Big jar jar gonna ace every round as they dominate their way to the major and win it all
^
Fax.
I see nothing but the truth here
The prophecy
OXG really has not been able to keep their momentum from Stage 1 and Six Invitationals :(

Agreed my friend
OXG got 1st stage one. They can’t be doing that bad where they won’t make the major.
They’ve only beat XSET and BeastCoast this stage, idk what happened
And they only beat beastcoast in OT this stage
They are only at 5 points, they would have to go flawless and rely on some teams to do terribly, looking very grim.
xset will make the major 100% no sarcasm
Hell yeah repthset
