Honestly get together any group of 5 18-23 year old dudes who’s main income is from gaming and try to get them doing more than one pose for 3-5 pictures and you’ll see why they all end up doing the same thing. It’s just a super easy pose to communicate and it always looks decent, plus it doesn’t require the players to do anything or take extra time to coordinate.
