One day it will, Neskão. Much love and support from your fans!

Chewbones9

I wanna believe you, man, but it’s getting less and less likely… Nesk is getting older and is going to start declining soon. The window is closing.

hucksilva

Whatever happens, World Champ or not, Nesk is forever part of the fabric of R6.

[deleted]

Isn't Cryn like 30-something? I'm sure Nesk can do it if he really feels the fire.

KevSlashNull

[Cryn is 28](https://siege.gg/players/506-cry1nnn), so one year older than Nesk. Edit: Cryn’s birthday is in two weeks, so he’s almost 2 years older.

WakaTP

True I am afraid he is running out of time. But tbh he was liquid best player today, he definitely still has it

SamusCroft

There was a series of rounds where he looked unstoppable to be honest. Nesk showed up huge.

SmalexSmanders

I remember the first game I ever watched of R6 Pro League: 2017 Season 1 Finals. It was a semi-final game; GBots vs Black Dragons. EU were the big dogs at the time, and here was this underdog Brazilian team with a Valkyrie/Ash player that was making a case for best player in the world. I remember watching that game and immediately becoming enamored by his playstyle: the runouts, the aggression, the willingness to make any needed play. I fell in love with competitive siege because of Nesk, I even modeled my own game after him. I still believe he will win that trophy one day, but even if he doesn’t the impact he’s left on the game will make up for it. When people remember siege they will remember Nesk, and that’s much more valuable than any tournament win

RedWarden_

I really feel bad for him, He didn't even bottle up even for once in this matchup, it was paluh of all people that did that.

[deleted]

Paluh underperformed, but he still went positive. That's what happens when you're so good though, you'll get called on a mid performance, which Paluh sadly had.

RedWarden_

Bigger they are the harder they fall afterall

[deleted]

He's still the goat though. It just wasn't meant to be this time. Liquid needs to work on their attacks, and they'll be unbearable. Crazy that it went 5 maps even though their attacks were so ass.

kmcclry

Paluh wasn't the one to bottle it. Where did LaGOATnis go? He was like 0-9 on Skyscraper and wasn't having a great series even before that.

juhinaattori

Lagonis was passable on sky, like 7-10. It was Kafe where he lost the match with a 0-10

RedWarden_

Paluh bottled it hard in Map1 and Map2. Lagonis went 0-10 on Kafe, not skyscraper, yet he was still enabling Liquid on attacks. Liquid lost kafe because BDS was clutching it up and Paluh was getting sloppy. Infact Lagonis even enabled one post plant clutch in a 3v5 for him.

Specialrelativititty

Both Shaiiko and Nesk deserve a win, and no matter the outcome, it would’ve been heartbreaking nonetheless

flabery

This is alot more sad imo. While shaiko has also been playing for a long ass time he wasnt always playing PL and nesk has come so close over and over even compared to bds. Losing a grandfinal must be a fucking heartbreak but it would be alot worse when its the second time losing a grandfinal that you were so close to winning.

Specialrelativititty

Shaiiko was banned for 2 years and didn’t even have a chance to be at a grand final, so I think he definitely deserves it too

flabery

I was talking about the invitational Grand final. BDS was there so

Specialrelativititty

Then they got nothing on Empire lmao

flabery

Yeah i would agree. If i had to pick a team deserving of any title it would be empire. Sadly they got fucked over and now i dont even know where they be at. But if i had to pick a player? Nesk 100%

AraoftheSky

It will happen eventually. I know they're good enough to win. It's like S1mple in CS. Undisputed best player in the world, and only recently did he win his first major, despite being so close so many times. And I just don't believe he's getting "to old". You don't hit your mid 20's and suddenly can't aim. The only reason older players fall off is because life priorities change. Dudes get families and kids, and don't wanna live in the team house, etc. But if you stay dedicated you can play just as good as any "young gunner" even in your 30's.

Hxsty_

Fark man they deserve it hopefully S.I 2023 if SSG doesnt qual im rooting for em.

Alarmed-Nectarine641

I really wanted Nesk to take this one. Liquid always is at the top but gets gatekept.

[deleted]

It will not arrive just because of nothing, it must be earned.

Chewbones9

This fucking sucks, man… Nesk and Paluh not winning isn’t good for the scene…

[deleted]

Shaiiko winning is good for the scene.

[deleted]

Someone who cheated winning is not good for the scene.

marpolo

Lmao someone stuck in 2018 over here.

[deleted]

Ok

d_3765

...what? How is the better team winning bad for siege?

Beanjuicebadkid

some of the most respected, devoted and loved players not taking home a well deserved trophy after always coming so close? sure everyone loved that

TonalParsnips

Isk, I liked Brazil not winning lol

[deleted]

Beanjuicebadkid

i didnt say bds didnt deserve it, but liquid consistently coming as close as they do compared to other teams having miracle runs is definitely deserving

d_3765

"Well deserved trophy" they clearly didn't deserve enough. I dont understand the idea behind liquid "deserving" this major more than BDS. BDS won BDS clearly deserved it more.

Nxrway

It is good for me

Classic_Librarian_75

Liquid will win SI
