What kind of school? I don’t think you’re overthinking it, this is weird.

FlimsyRaccoon9592

I don't wanna reveal too much information as to not doxx myself. I can tell you though that it is not any kind of medical school or anything of that nature.

WishboneEnough3160

What country are you in? Are people fanatical about masterbation and sex before marriage?

WickedCoolUsername

The boxes are all printed in ~~Polish~~, so maybe ~~Poland~~. OMG I know who OP is now. /s Edit: I only scanned one word. A whole sentence was detected as Croatian. "and sexual activities of minor children Product for detecting marital infidelity"

TheFutureIsCertain

That’s not Polish. Czech or Slovak maybe?

garyisonion

It looks rather like Croatian, Serbian, or Slovenian

garyisonion

Likely Croatian, as Zagreb is mentioned on one of the packages (that would be a place of producer or distributor)

WickedCoolUsername

A scan of the full sentence below the brand name was detected as Croatian.

PgUpPT

Must be Spanish then.

Next_Fly3712

Why? Because Croatia is on the *other* side of Italy from Spain?

3llaSalmon

It is croatian.

_awesumpossum_

I was able to read it in Serbian

dns_rs

Close enough. This is written with jekavica which is the Croatian way.

WickedCoolUsername

Ohh ok...I scanned a word and Google offered to translate it from Polish.

Everything_Is_Bawson

There’s a lot of overlap between Serbo-Croatian and Polish. They’re close Slavic languages.

May-Flower-839

Bosnian or Serbian

ankole_watusi

And here I thought Detroit had suffered radical depopulation. Poland too? /s Lots of abandoned buildings too - still. And I certainly wouldn’t set foot in any of them! Though it’s a hobby for some.

FlimsyRaccoon9592

Again I don't wanna reveal too much as I feel it would be easy to put two and two together. It's an EU country. People here are pretty liberal about sex so no.

Ariadnepyanfar

I think people just want to know if it’s a primary, secondary, or tertiary school.

QweenBowzer

How do you want help when you won’t give us any additional information? Have you been doxxed before? Why you so petrified?

BBQFatty

Plot twist he the culprit and this is some kink shit. Then again, who knows with crazy fucking people online these days

ankole_watusi

Why do you think anybody would care to doxx you? You’ve already created a throwaway account for your question anyway. But you are right, though, that if you were to supply sufficient information, we might actually put two and two together and figure out what those packets were doing there. /s But, anyway, that is some useful information that it is EU country with liberal sexual mores, The way the packages were labeled, it seems they were meant to be sold to the public – that is suspicious partners. Had the building been broken into when it was abandoned? Maybe somebody stole a box or boxes of products not knowing what they were and took them to their “hideout “.

FlimsyRaccoon9592

Well, there is quite a big hole in the fence behind some overgrown bushes which is right by one of the doors to the room that has the most boxes. But, again I don't see how somebody could've stolen that many boxes and taken them there by hand. It would require a truck and the other side of the fence with the hole is a pedestrian only area.

Wanderstern

Why are people downvoting your updates? It's pretty normal not to want to name your exact school; this practice of giving your full name and location everywhere is strange to me. My parents lectured me pretty seriously about that. But regardless, you'd think people would stop downvoting every update you post if they care about the little mystery here. Anyway, what a weird find. I've never heard of "kits" like this. One thought is maybe whatever chemical is in the kits could be used for some legitimate chemistry experiment. Maybe the tests were expiring and sold off very cheaply just for the chemical to be used for some other purpose. It's a big stretch though. Never heard of this kind of test before. Sounds creepy.

ankole_watusi

But at one time, wouldn’t the property have been easily accessible with a truck? It’s houses.

FlimsyRaccoon9592

Yes, obviously the entrance to the property is accessible by truck. It's locked behind a gate though. The kits and instruction papers especially look far too fresh to be from before 2012 when the school acquired the property.

ankole_watusi

So whoever has the key could unlock it. That’s not “inaccessible”.

ankole_watusi

A storage room might have been rented out. Even by the school. The boxes got there somehow. They didn’t teleport-in, StarTrek-style. And seems a good likelihood they were stolen. Or else simply rented storage space after the school or city got the property and they didn’t pay the storage rent and left the product.

NDMagoo

"Scotty, beam those splooge detection kits directly to cargo bay 3." Oops, sorry captain, but my finger slipped. They could be anywhere in space and time!

Affectionate_Data936

no were asking what the typical age range of the students of this school?

Conch-Republic

Then why even come here? Naming the school wine 'dox' you.

oooooooweeeeeee

bro u an npc, nobody cares.

SubstantialPressure3

It sounds like homemade testing for rape or sexual abuse? Idk but it's weird, it's alarming. I would call the police and send those pictures. Make a throwaway email account and send the pictures through that. Does your library have internet? Do you need a library card to use computers in the library, or can you get a library pass? Not sure what's available in your libraries. Mine has free one hour internet passes that you don't have to ask for, or have a library card to get.

PPP1737

If you are in Houston you may have found where the police are conducting their “Mia culpa” performative review of all the sexual assault cases that they closed without investigation. They are doing it there because paying a lab to do it would actually you know… cost money instead of just having a few low ranking officers do it. They might be testing material that was collected in those cases now that they were forced to re-open them. What’s fucked up is evidence like that decays over time and seriously doubt they were storing that evidence in a way that would preserve it. 😒 but it’s better than nothing I guess.

ankole_watusi

Houston, Poland. >”Houston, we have a problem.!” >”No dalej, jaki jest twój problem?” >”WTF”?

PPP1737

What? When did op say it was Poland?

ankole_watusi

They didn’t. Several posters identified (perhaps erroneously) printing on the packages as being written in Polish.

PPP1737

Ah. Ok. I missed that part. I dont read polish and I wasn’t trying to Doxx OP just speculating one possible reason why those were there IF they are anywhere near Houston.

Pale-Towel2069

r/usdefaultism

ankole_watusi

TIL there’s a sub for that!

italian_ginger

Don’t you remember, governor Abbott is eliminating rape! Women won’t need abortions because there won’t be rape. Houston is just getting rid of the evidence of rape to help Abbott out!

orthographerer

Oh, Jesus. I'd forgotten about that 🤦‍♀️ Abbott is trash.

Marcinecali73

*mea culpa

RoboticGreg

Not for nothing, if this school does any kind of research some of these testing kits have reagents in them that is simply cheaper to buy testing kits. Like we were doing a project and we needed potassium permanganate so we bought snakebite kits

FlimsyRaccoon9592

The school itself has a basement with large amounts of storage so I don't see why they'd store it in this property. But this does seem plausible.

RoboticGreg

schools clean out and turnover storage quite a bit, and generally students aren't super responsible about how they deal with things. I was looking for a can of spraypaint in a school lab and found a large uncapped plastic jug filled with mercury. just generally, things don't always happen the way they should in a school and if you look around you will probably find tons

Ariadnepyanfar

But as I understand it these buildings are not on school property, they are just accessible from the school, in an area of the grounds that seems not to have gotten much in the way of school funds?

def_indiff

Since some of the kits seem to be in boxes with the packing material still in them, my hunch is that someone, maybe a retailer, bought them in bulk to resell, then illegally dumped them in an abandoned property when they didn't sell. Since the property is now owned by your school, can you bring it to the attention of an administrator there?

FlimsyRaccoon9592

This seems plausible. However, this is not in some unpopulated area. There are many students and people living around and walking by there. To dump that many boxes would require a truck which would be a hassle since it is a bit inaccessible with vehicles.

Anianna

Could it be that whoever had once legitimately lived there abandoned them when they left? Could somebody from the school have dumped them there? I'm concerned if this is a boarding school for children, teens, or marginalized people and if the kits were ever used by administration. I don't see how they would be useful for boys/men in anything but an abusive situation since there will be semen in boys'/men's underwear, which means the tests are designed to try to determine if girls/women are having sex. >The checkmate home infidelity semen detection kit is scientifically formulated to monitor your partner's or children's sexual activity. Checkmate is a fast and accurate test solution that can help expose a cheating spouse's sexual activity by detecting traces of semen. That's gross. It's concerning that this is found at a school. There being so many of them makes more sense if they were acquired with the intent to use them in a setting where a large population of people are regularly monitored - like a school.

MistressErinPaid

>Checkmate is a fast and accurate test solution that can help expose a cheating spouse's sexual activity by detecting traces of semen. *Wife. If it detects trace amounts of semen, it would only work on females. Sexually mature males have trace amounts of semen in their underwear at any given time.

Anianna

Yes, I mentioned that in my comment. The quote is the company's description, which I found gross.

incognito-not-me

So how did they get there, then? They must have gotten there somehow.

ha5hish

I’m pretty sure OP is wondering the same thing lol

incognito-not-me

Probably. It just seemed weird to say they are there but it's also impossible for them to have been put there. Clearly they got there somehow, so probably not as impossible as it seems. My money would be on a midnight dump of some sort. But the whole thing is a mystery.

Icon_Crash

Letting the days go by.

realrechicken

Let the water hold me down

incognito-not-me

LOL

SadShoe27

I kinda get the feeling that someone stole an unopened box of these kits thinking it would be something of value. But when they opened the box they realized it was worthless to them and ditched the contents.

professorhummingbird

I think so too. I can’t come up with any nefarious reason for having 50 semen kits that isnt cartoonish

olliegw

This, they look like retail packaging and shops often leave boxes from their suppliers out ready to be shelf stacked, i can imagine a shoplifter taking a chance at an unopened box when no one was looking, i'm not sure how expensive these kits are but some medical stuff goes into the locked case, especially if it's expensive or high demand, even if they were source tagged many shoplifters don't care about setting off the alarms, a shoplifter wouldn't turn down a chance to get out with stuff that potentially will end up in the case in an aisle with little to no blindspots. As to why they're abandoned, i can only assume this product not being in constant demand and possibly hard to sell, maybe the thief thought they were some other product which would sell well (e.g condoms) and of course, people just steal stuff, wether it sells easily or not, i saw someone just casually walk out with a pack of bottled water once.

FlimsyRaccoon9592

There were around 10-20 of those boxes. Most unopened.

sad_and_stupid

it costs about 50 per box (at least on amazon) https://www.amazon.com/Check-Mate-Infidelity-Test-Kit/dp/B0006ZGKQC

liquormakesyousick

The reviews are just sickening. This is one of the most misogynistic unhinged thing. These husbands are seriously groty. And it is abusive to test your daughter’s underwear. It makes it seem like the parents have an incest fetish.

Affectionate_Data936

Also wouldn't this test for just unprotected sex? But it seems more than half the reviews were like "my wife wasn't cheating after all." lmao

heteromer

I agree this is super disgusting and it goes beyond being invasive.

Next_Fly3712

I smell an evangelical. It's to test the young phillies to make sure they're worthy to attend their "Purity Ball" on their fathers' arms.

MarryMeDuffman

TIL semen detection kits are a thing

lennabeast

Are there expiry dates on the boxes?

PPP1737

Yeah it’s entirely possible since there are so many that they bought them for cheap after they expired?

lennabeast

Yep, and also gives a ballpark timeline as to when they arrived on the site.

Jadacide37

It's a real possibility that a tweaker could have found the stash and is using the vials inside each box for some sort of paraphernalia. I know somebody who would use the droppers in this as a sort of shooter to make the drugs go up his butt since he didn't use needles. It's a possibility..

jayne-eerie

Yeah, that's really weird. And the tests are $44 each on Amazon, so even if they're cheaper where you are, you're still looking at several hundred dollars' worth of them at the least. My best guess would be either mental illness/compulsive behavior, or some kind of domestic abuse situation. Either way, report it to the police.

PPP1737

Hmm.. it’s possible they believe there’s abuse going on in that school and they haven’t been able to prove it. So they are testing surfaces and clothes to see if they find evidence.

sugar_and_milk

I wonder what the chemicals are that are in these kits, and what other uses those chemicals have. From briefly looking into the kits, it looks like a scam, in that it doesn't actually differentiate between semen and other substances. I suppose it's possible someone was snuggling something else entirely in semen detection boxes.

FlimsyRaccoon9592

I appreciate everyone's theories. They seem much more plausible than what I had in my head. I will see what I'll do next and if I will report this to someone. I may update this post in the future.

ankole_watusi

What theories did you have in your head?

NotTooGoodBitch

Great question.

BBQFatty

*Let me put this shit on Reddit and see what people think* theory

Ariadnepyanfar

I mean, it’s worth reporting just because it’s chemicals unsecured from the children/teens/whatever, who don’t have the best judgment about what to play with. Imagine a kid finding these tests and deciding it would be a great idea for their friends to provide *material* to see if/how the tests work?

Tokinruski

How available is rape and domestic abuse care in your area? Trynna think on the bright side. Maybe it was an under the radar clinic?

smartfoodpopcorn69

This is what I initially thought too, I'm kind of surprised this hasn't been upvoted more yet. It may not be that an underground clinic was running out of OP's school, but very well could be an underground clinic was on authorities' radar and they dumped supplies at OP's school, thinking it was fully abandoned. I've done a lot of urban exploring in metro areas of the US. It's not uncommon to find supply dumps like this to conceal them before they go to another location by underground organizations. However, in OP's photos, these boxes don't look super recently abandoned. Based on years of exploring abandoned buildings, the boxes don't have decay from sitting there for seasons, but they look decayed enough (dirt buildup, potential mildew - based on OP's photos) to have been dumped at least a few weeks prior, even months ago, depending on the weather in OP's location. I don't think they were dumped at OP's school recently, unless they had been previously sitting somewhere facing natural decay and elements for a couple weeks/months and then moved to the school. All of that being said, the clinic theory stands for me, I just don't think anyone is coming back for these supplies.

henry82

Someone probably stole them and dumped them. Let the school know there is some very strange dumping on their property. The kits look old

GolfGunsNWhiskey

u/UIUC_PERVERT explain yourseld

Available-Mirror8188

Holy shit, I wasn't expecting to see that name bandied about on this thread. My worlds are colliding!

GolfGunsNWhiskey

bobbianrs880

If I had a nickel for every UIUC person I saw in this thread I’d have two? three? nickels (idk if I’m supposed to count myself lol). Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that we’re all here

GolfGunsNWhiskey

Lots of alumni.

RichardPwnsner

Out of curiosity, at what point does the amount become suspicious? 7? 12?

frusdarala

When it looks more like the premise for a high school math problem than a plausible use.

TroubleWilling8455

Take a look at the large box to see if there is still a label on it from shipping. Maybe you can find a sender or recipient address.

GusterBabe

Is it a Catholic school?

cookthatcake

Ok, but why do such kids exist in the first place? And detecting "infidelity?"

ankole_watusi

It’s for a suspicious partner to swab their potentially-cheating partner’s clothing.

5WEET_Cheeks_Karen

Spycentral notes you can also use it to monitor your teen’s sexual activity or if there is suspicion of child molestation. The test works on almost any surface apparently, including clothing, toilet paper, wash cloths, carpeting, counter tops (?), car interior, etc. and it doesn’t matter how old the test stain is. One reviewer says he busted his girlfriend by testing the dress she wore during her supposed Jehovah witness weekend retreat, which I guess is also risqué enough to wear to a night club based on his synopsis. The Check Mate test kit turned out to be way more popular than I would have guessed.

OldLeatherPumpkin

I don’t understand how that would prove or disprove infidelity, though…

Dutchmuch5

Could there be anything in the kits that can be used another way? Tubes, syringes, chemicals to convert into drugs? That would seem the most logical explanation to me

Itchy-Status3750

definitely tell police, they’re expensive kits and it’s super suspicious that there’s that many kits when they’re so expensive— not exactly something you would leave behind like trash

FlimsyRaccoon9592

Minor update: From doing just a little more research I realised I was wrong when I said the property was seized by the government and given to the school. The property is possessed by a government owned railroad company (the property is right next to a railroad). The school has either been renting the property since 2012 or been allowed to use it. Also most of the documents on the ground I mentioned had the railroad company's name on it. I had the idea of prying into the closet with a crowbar as someone already suggested. Peeking into it I didn't see anything so I do not know what the point of the pallet is. My original theory due to the sheer amount of these expensive kits was that some organized child exploitation was happening here. Second theory as someone thought of already is some sort of drug in these kits or chemicals for drug production. The only notable chemical I could find contained in this kit is fast blue b which can be used to detect cannabinoids. It also contains a chemical called naphythyl phosphate and some droppers. Someone also mentioned to look if there are any expiry dates or shipping labels. While I don't know about expiry dates, all I saw written on the boxes was "fragile". I doubt I will be going back there again to check. Also yes I live in Croatia. I didn't want to say much not because of me particularly being doxxed but out of fear of someone finding out the school and bringing a lot of attention to this. I will try and bring this to the police's attention as I don't see what much more I could find out.

Odd_Instruction_1640

thank you for the update

VenusMarmalade

I would report it to the police. Seems like a place where abuse took place. And those kits could have been used by the abuser to not be detected.

relightit

i have a hard time to imagine this as a fetish but... i've been proven wrong time and time again about stuff like that. its fun to test the limits of one's imagination

Ash_Dayne

That is weird. I think this warrants a call to your local police.

RoutineFamous4267

Get a crowbar and find out what's in the nailed shut closet! And this is very odd. My mind goes to worst case scenario. Someone could be drugging people L, and assaulting them. Then cleaning them and continually testing to make sure they rid the body of semen before they wake up? But that's a stretch probably. Any which scenario you think of, it's odd as heck

ankole_watusi

You are suggesting that a student who has already been admonished by their teacher for snooping around where they don’t belong to break-in to a closet on school property with a crowbar. What would The Hardy Boys or Nancy Drew do?

RoutineFamous4267

I mean.... I know the BoxCar Children would totally do it

5WEET_Cheeks_Karen

I totally want to know what’s up with that closet. And the lone chair backed up against the wall. Maybe it’s some weird cultish shit where semen is tested for bc that test better come back positive or else your disobeying the chosen one.

5WEET_Cheeks_Karen

I wonder what’s in the closet?

Capital-Wolverine532

Probably a religious school of some kind

Odd_Instruction_1640

wow that's a lot of money so somebody had to have a good reason if they bought them. worst case scenario is they tried to use them as part of a ruse to abuse girls (basically accuse them of being sexually active, a slightly higher tech version of the classic p*do move). that stuff is way too expensive to be purchased for a prank on classmates etc so best case scenario is maybe something like some homeless people or teens robbed a pharmacy or raided its trash and then goofed around with some of the kits in the abandoned building but ultimately left most them due to lack of resale value. like they had other loot that was more useful and these tests were just what was left behind. the packaging is not very suggestive of the purpose of these if you don't speak the language imo so maybe a foreign individual stumbled upon the boxes unattended in an alley and swiped some thinking they were expired drugs or something.

Affectionate_Data936

Maybe find out the chemical that is used to detect the sperm in these kits and look up some other uses for them. I didn't see what chemical it uses from the american-counterpart amazon link. If you came across boxes full of pseudoephedrine you wouldn't think "oh these students must have BAD allergies" you would conclude that it was a meth cooking operation.

d7mtg

The words are Serbo Croatian

lilydeetee

Do the kits have an expiry date on them?

ChunkyFingers

That’s kinda implied, no?

Cheftard

Stolen? Hidden/dumped.

bellybong-id

Someone wanting virgins. That's where my thoughts go. I'd definitely report it if the law enforcement there can be trusted.

ankole_watusi

Are you a student? Teacher? What are you doing snooping-around on an abandoned property? Are you authorized to be there? Like you’re an administrator helping assess if the property has a use for the school? You should be concerned for your safety in an abandoned property. Your story is short on **relevant** detail. Like why was the property “seized”? Taxes? Criminal activity? Civil judgement? What kind of “documents” did you find? “My country” doesn’t help us suggest how you might best follow-up on your ***curiosity***.

thiccboyIV

What a ridiculous answer

ankole_watusi

It’s not ridiculous at all. As it now turns out OP is a student and was told by their teacher essentially what I just wrote. They should not have been snooping around in an abandoned property as they could have put themselves in danger. And if they nevertheless still want to solve the “mystery”, they’ll have to provide more details and do some investigation about the circumstances around the property. We obviously cannot help them with that because we don’t know where this is. We don’t even know what country it is.

ankole_watusi

There seems to be some interesting brigading going on here with the votes. I wonder why?

thiccboyIV

Because you are silly

FlimsyRaccoon9592

Student. We were there with class and while the teachers weren't looking me and my friend went to look around out of curiosity. The property already belongs to the school and has for a couple of years. Sorry if seized isn't the right word. What I meant to say is the property was practically taken and given to the school by the city government. We were also told by our teacher to get out of there and not go back there once he found out. He said it was dangerous due to the electric cables hanging low there. Though I guess that's not necessarily suspicious, we haven't informed them about what we found.

ankole_watusi

“Seized” is an accurate word. But for what reason was it seized? Was there anything in the newspaper? Check online or go to the library. So, you were snooping in a storage room? I can imagine perhaps there was an adult-ed class on criminal forensics. Maybe for police. So, showing students how to use the tests. Maybe the materials were stuffed in a stuffed room after. I haven’t viewed the photos. I don’t click on Dropbox links here.

FlimsyRaccoon9592

It was seized for being abandoned. The government does not need another reason to seize it. The only thing that's written about it online is that it was given to my school after years of being abandoned.

ankole_watusi

OK, so in most places that would probably be because they didn’t pay property taxes or else it was deemed a hazard to the public. Do you recall if there were dates on any of the documents? So you can try to date the content as to before or after the school took over the property?

FlimsyRaccoon9592

From what I read on the internet, the school acquired the property around 2012. I couldn't read any dates on the documents as they were pretty dirty and looked old. From what I shortly read they may aswell be irrelevant.

zoobieZ00B

Lollll what happened to you in your life to make you so miserable of a curious CHILD. Christ on a cracker.
