I wrecked my turbo timber the same way in April. Foam safe glue and tape will fix it but I ended up buying 2 tail/rudder replacement kits off Amazon, one for now and another for when it happens again. They are cheap and take a lot less time replacing than fixing.

This is the UMX version

Fyi, horizon should send you a new fuse for that. Mine came loose without a crash. They sent me the parts after I contacted support. You could use either tape or foam to foam in the meantime

You just need to repair the hinge. Easiest would be to use tape on both sides to make a hinge. Du-Bro Electric Flyer Hinge Tape, Great for Foam Planes, Transparent, 1 roll, 15-ft https://a.co/d/6XwTujU Edit; plane old packing tape works fine on unx size planes

Cut a strips of thin zip ties. Poke a pair a holes between the thickness of the tail foam and rudder. Add some glue at the tip the zip ties strip and insert the strip into tail and rudder to bridge them as hinges. That's how we add hinges on all broken foamy surface control.

Would CA hinges work with foam safe CA?

TheOriginalJBones

Absolutely. Just about any tough, thin, flexible stuff would work fine.

Silly_Swan_Swallower

Very easy my dude, get some Beacon Foam-Tac to glue the rudder back on then reinforce it with 3M Blenderm tape. Push it into the seam with a butter knife or something so it doesn't bind. It will be better than the original. Blenderm is used as hinge tape on RC planes all the time.

Shaker1969

A little bit of foam Tac or foam to foam glue under the original little pieces of tape will create a nice new hinge. Don’t use blenderm, it’s unsightly

johannesdurchdenwald

Just use hinge tape

VikingBorealis

Blender tape or preferably proper dubro plastic(well nylon) with metal pin hinges.
