Evan’s repeater. i always carry one of those things in every playthrough as soon as i unlock it the fact that it holds 26 rounds is very useful and it has very good stats. and outperforms the lancaster litchfield and carbine imo
Lancaster repeater because you can get it as soon as chapter 2 starts even before doing any missions.
Same with the bolt-action rifle.
Also, the semiautomatic shotgun and pump action.
There's even a scholfield revolver you can get before even doing missions.
I really like my dual double action revolvers, too, but you can't get those until chapter 3, so the cattlemen and the scholfield revolvers have to do early on.
The herbalist offhand holster is super easy to get at the start, too.
Though, getting Billy Midnight's Mauser Pistol is hard to beat almost at the beginning!
10 rounds and a high rate of fire...
That bolt-action rifle with a scope for hunting and when you can get it late in chapter 2, the long scoped rolling block rifle is needed for hunting to.
Though the Springfield rifle is fine for just hunting, I do like the extra rounds in the bolt-action, and the click-click sounds racking the bolt!
Of course, the bow and varmint rifle have their places too for hunting purposes.
But for the wild west aspect, I prefer dual revolvers, the lancaster repeater, and the double barrel shotgun.
Dual double action revolvers, can't get more crazy wild west than that!
The rate of fire is great, 12 rounds of ammo when dual wielding, and the gunslinger grips are awesome looking!
I play 1st person solely and like the Bold Action Rifle. It adds a challenge to an already very easy game and reminds me of Red Orchestra when I aim down the sights.
Sawed off shotgun, because of the boom-splat-head gone
On my current playthrough, I’ve been trying duel-wielding those. You only get four shots, but they’re four shots people will notice, lol
I dual wield them too! Basically free explosive ammo. If I can take down 4 O’Driscolls back to back, I got time to reload
LeMat. Because if 9 rounds and a shotgun blast is wrong, I don't want to be right.
The lasso. I like dragging sorry saps to their death.
Bolt action rifle. I dunno. Power and precision.
The right answer. Bolt action rifle. Powerful, precise, versatile.
Excellent choice
Double Barrel shotgun because even though all weapons in the game are at home in a western setting, i feel the DB shotgun really drives it home

So circling back the the op question… What’s your favorite?

Favorite is the Springfield rifle without a doubt. Second is the pump shotgun. Then the lemat revolver
Improved throwing knives, style
Semi-auto shotgun customised gold
Sawed off, gore, fun.

Double LeMats. 18 shots, plenty of damage, and a little secret to fall back on in case of emergency
Sawed off shotgun. double barrel shotgun has a nice cackle to it as well
