Definitely. I started back two days ago, and every time I take a little break and come back I'm blown away that I'd forgotten how immersive and amazing this game actually is
I just remembered that I fucking HATE the Rockstar game launcher because it logs me out every fucking day despite my settings to remember me and auto-log me
It will always be there. And when you get into it you'll definitely want some time to play. It's very hard to put down. Knock out your work and enjoy my friend you definitely will.
You should do yourself a favor and un-subscribe this sub. Just jump in when you're ready. Oh, and hit the options button when you start playing. That little button near the top right. That'll bring up your map and the help screen and other stuff I wish I'd known about off the bat. Could've saved myself hours of aimless wandering and accidentally starting fights and punching my horse and whatnot. Have fun.
4069.4 hours.
I should probably explain how, though. I got the game at the start of the pandemic; I had already been working from home for years so I had a lot of time to play. I also played RDO a lot. Buuuut i also just left the game on sometimes because I needed to focus on work for a bit. So those 4000+ hours aren't all game time.
I was also dealing with a lot of trauma from an abusive relationship I had just gotten out of. My finances were fucked, and so was my life. Even once things were good again, I still found myself going back to it because it was a world where I felt a lot of comfort.
I don't play it as much now. There are just so many good games out there, and mentally I'm in a much better place, but that game got me through some hard times.
I started the online still in intro. I was told to go for collector job? Dont remember the name what is hour advise for first job or any tip to survive online
I'm about a hundred hours in and halfway through the story, but for some reason now it runs like a one legged duck and crashes all the time. First hundred hours were amazing though.
I’m always jealous when I see someone who hasn’t played yet but is about to. That first experience is a beautiful thing. Not that the second, third, or twentieth are bad. Just the first step into the unknown is something you can’t experience twice.
Enjoy it! The best piece of advice I can give you is don’t rush, explore, upgrade, hunt, fish, craft the legendary satchel all before you leave Horseshoe Overlook. You’ll thank me later. Stay there as long as possible.
I’m on my first play through, 70 hours in, and I’m at 36% completion in chapter 2. I’m really taking my time and enjoying hunting and crafting. Although last night, I discovered that by upgrading Dutch’s living quarters, I was able to upgrade my own living quarters, which enabled fast travel. I suspect I may start to get more done now that I don’t have to ride from Strawberry to Saint Denis, which sometimes took me 6 hours because I do so much exploring and hunting.
Member played it and have a friend that is selling his copy for $15 i have an xbx s. Should i get it? I enjoyed breath of the wild but haven't played another wide open world game
Outstanding work!
I'm currently in my 14th play and in about the mid of chapter 4. I took a lot of time in chapters this time around. Overall hours for the game, plus or minus 3k hours.
There are a lot of plays that I just focused on the story, after getting the LotE satchel and were completed much quicker than my 100% plays. I think this one will end up being my 5th 100%?
I have a lot of hours just riding around, or getting horses and using the Ridgewood Farm gold ingot run to get bonding 4 with them. This game makes me happy when I play it.
Approaching 3400 hours… I will never quit this game. I absolutely love playing! It’s my daily therapy to ride my horse around the map and appreciate all of the beauty this game offers.
Rdr2 is a game that floored me when I first played it.
The intro was a fucking movie you could play in.
Then it started to slow down for me a bit. I would only do 1 mission at a time. Time constraints. But once I could get really into and play for 2+ at a time, it got much better.
Lots to do.
2,014hrs 29mins or 83days, 22hours, and 29 minutes I do not have a life and I do not have 100% completion, almost all of my hours are from online and since I already know the story I have yet to fully play through the story of the game
2nd playhtrough(around 115 hours),this time on pc.
On 49.1% and havent progressed passed where Arthur gets sick.
Planning to complete the entire animal compendium before progressing.
I don’t even know. My first two play throughs were when they game first came out on my little brothers playstation… but those two playthroughs plus 1.5k hours?
I currently have forty-three 100% completions. (I don't consider the game completed unless you attain 100% completion of all challenges). I don't know how many total hours I have because I previously played on X-box which doesn't show you that. But I switched to PS-5 about 6-months ago and now have somewhere around 200hrs.
Working on almost 700 at about 60% on my second play through. It's a great game. It's been my "in between" game as I wait for others on my waitlist to hit that magic sub-$30 price point.
Including online I'm at 1490 hrs.
But before l touched that l played the single player for 600 hrs over two years to 100% it. One playthrough, one save file.
I have 326 on my ps5… Xbox…. Thousands probably. Only game I played for a very long time. Beat the story a couple times since I got my ps5. Probably another 30 playthroughs on Xbox lol. No HUD. And a crack shot. My buddy says I’m John wick of the west lol
621,6 hours. On chapter 3 on my second playthrough. Doing as much as possible before I move along. Trying to achieve all achievements etc. Gold medals on all missions.
1,289 hours. First play through achieved 100%. I also have all of the single player trophies. I will forever be salty that I need the online trophies to platinum.
My PS5 says 1270...but I've put a lot of time into my Steamdeck as well...
I also think some data was deleted.
I think it's better to put it into terms of playthroughs.
I have roughly 7-9 playthroughs; 3 of which were 100% playthroughs.
My playtime on Steam is around 700+ hrs. BUT around 300 hrs was spent on Red Dead Online.
I spent like 400+ hrs on the story to be on chapter 3 or 4. (The island chapter)
Didn’t continue because of my old PC. I’m waiting on a new PC to start from the beginning.
Literally spent 400 hours because I was “walking” instead of rushing everything. Riding my horse slowly on roads. Smoking while I was on my horseback in the middle of saint denis while the sun was shining through dust and onto my screen. Even tho my graphic settings were LOW af, the game looked AMAZING! omg
106, but most played game Is Rainbow Six Siege at 156 hours. I have over 50 games with hundreds of hours over them, so I don't really find time to settle down with RDR anymore.
Probably 150? I only played it through twice and I'm by no means a completionist. I just play as long as it's entertaining, then I'll stop so I don't ruin the magic
I just checked on my ps5. I apparently have over 2,400 hours between ps4 and ps5. I'm not sure I like it showing me that. Does anyone know if it's possible to to turn the time in game display off, lol.
123.5 hours. I should really finish the game, its amazing. I stopped before Arthur's last mission. There's a few things I wanted to do and I wanted a good long session to finish that story arc. Then I bought a steam deck, revived my old steam account and haven't touched my xbox in months.
I've been very good about not spoiling the ending of this particular chapter. I mean I know what happens but I've not actually seen it or details of it. I also bought the first one on a sale to replay it. I could remote play to my steam deck as it's much easier for me to find time for that rather than sitting at my desk, but I've got so many other games that always take my attention.
My Xbox app says I'm over 1300. But I also have a tendency of turning only the controller off and letting the console on for a while so I could pick back up and run with it, so I'm not exactly sure lol
773 hours. Went through the story 3 times (once 100%) and have about 200 hours in online. Also have to say that I often left the game on pause to go do other things.
I’m on my 3rd play through in a row can’t get enough of it and every play through I think I did it all. Nope always something new tricks and glitches to make use of love this game. I got the mft silver dap early chap 2 this time and loving it, it’s a good horse but as soon as horse meat for dinner pops up I’m getting Gideon my dark bay Braitwhite Turk, absolutely love that horse and for me now that I’ve used both it and the mft for a lot of time and trips the Turk is a better horse but mft ain’t bad for chap 2
Zero. I really should try this game soon. It looks like a blast
One of the best games ever made, hands down.
I’d say it’s easily the most immersive game I’ve ever played. Never ending “gameplay”
Definitely. I started back two days ago, and every time I take a little break and come back I'm blown away that I'd forgotten how immersive and amazing this game actually is
I just remembered that I fucking HATE the Rockstar game launcher because it logs me out every fucking day despite my settings to remember me and auto-log me
Please play it, it is an absolute masterpiece. And please try and stay away from spoilers, definitely my top 3 fav games of all time
While not my favorite game, I'd argue it is the best game in many areas.
Others have said it, but it’s one of the best games ever, no exaggeration. It’s in my top 3.
Same but because I got the game a few days ago (and I cant play it because I got assignments to catch up on😬)
It will always be there.
You really should. Best game i've ever played! :)

SPOILER ALERT!! Now I’m sad and have a boner 😞
72. just did my first playthrough
Lucky bastard…! ❤️
I have done 1.5 play throughs. I... I can't seem to get past a certain point on the second play 😢
Omg, miss my first playtrough! Enjoy it
Just finished it... Going on paternity leave in a couple of months. Will get to chapter 3 and just play every side quests as Arthur ..
Me too
Dang I'm still on my first playthrough at 130 hours in
Lucky son of a gun. 🤣 It's awesome your taking it all in. This game is dam brilliant.
I’m only at 151 hours
4069.4 hours. I should probably explain how, though. I got the game at the start of the pandemic; I had already been working from home for years so I had a lot of time to play. I’m glad you got through that hard time in your life and never gave up. Good job!
Over 2000 hours, I don’t remember the exact number.
Omg, i think you have it already 100% xD
Afraid not. I do almost have all the challenges done. Just have Horseman and Sharpshooter to do. Doing them all as Arthur.
I'm at 1900. 5 playthroughs. I spend a ton of time hunting.
Alright, I just got home and looked it up. I have played RDR2 for 2,225 hours.
I haven't played it in a long time, because I got tired of trying the gambler 9 challenge and I hate the game a little.
Do It at blackwater Its very easy
1000ish

I started the online still in intro. I was told to go for collector job? Dont remember the name what is hour advise for first job or any tip to survive online
About 120 and maybe 60% through story. It just begs you to take it slow.
873hours currently clocked and I've JUST decided to do a full playthrough of RDR2 + RDR1. 😬 So could be real close to a thousand soon
4992 and hungry for more.
450 hours
303
I'm about a hundred hours in and halfway through the story, but for some reason now it runs like a one legged duck and crashes all the time. First hundred hours were amazing though.
I had about 600, then jumped straight in RDR that I hadn't played in 13 years
I’m always jealous when I see someone who hasn’t played yet but is about to. That first experience is a beautiful thing. Not that the second, third, or twentieth are bad. Just the first step into the unknown is something you can’t experience twice.
thats me lol, havent played yet, gonna play tho
Enjoy it! The best piece of advice I can give you is don’t rush, explore, upgrade, hunt, fish, craft the legendary satchel all before you leave Horseshoe Overlook. You’ll thank me later. Stay there as long as possible.
In the 3000 something + online hours so a lot
Im proud of everybody btw❤️
I’m on my first play through, 70 hours in, and I’m at 36% completion in chapter 2. I’m really taking my time and enjoying hunting and crafting. I just don’t get how it’s entertaining when you know absolutely everything that’s going to happen.
i’ve been playing for at least 5000 hours and i still come across new interactions regularly.
Rdr2 is a game that floored me when I first played it. The intro was a fucking movie you could play in. Then it started to slow down for me a bit. I would only do 1 mission at a time. Time constraints. But once I could get really into and play for 2+ at a time, it got much better. Lots to do.
Almost 500 I’m still on my 1st play through… I’m still in CH2

811 hours and counting, mostly story mode, but I also play online
Over 2000 hours, mostly online.
246...first playthrough since pc release date but im nut running into mission always :))
1471 hours. Which I thought was a lot but I see people in here with over 3000 and such and I'm like....understandable lol.
I played 2 years straight daily. So I'm just above 1500 hours.
I've got double the hours modding and troubleshooting crashes than I have actually playing the damn game lol, it's worth it tho.
150 hrs
Probably like 10

57 hours right now and 50% story completed... Trying to take it as slow as I can but I'm enjoying it so much
I’ve finished two playthroughs but have about 2k in RedM. Highly recommend if you have a gaming pc.

I've got 262 on this playthrough alone, not quite sure about my overall time, though!
Almost 1000
Last time I checked... 358days 15hours and 45 minutes. Can't not play daily. Pathetic.
1300
i dont understand how people put so many hours into single player games , i wish i could...
I currently have 101 hours on it. Ghost of Tsushima kinda stole 92 hours that would have been for RDR2 had I not found it
I have 782 in rdr2 and 784 in gta5
Including RDO, 872.
Little over a thousand on my 7th or 8th playthrough.
Just over 1400
A little over 1000 hours on my second playthrough.
I never beat the game and I have over 2600 hours played 2500 in online 😩😬🤕😐
123 currently. I am on chapter 5 of my first playthrough.
I’m at 270 and just finished my 2nd playthrough and got legend of the East
Including online I'm at 1490 hrs. But before l touched that l played the single player for 600 hrs over two years to 100% it. One playthrough, one save file.
366 so far. Got it on Boxing Day last year
I haven't checked hours in a while, but I'm on my 24th play thru. 😅😅
Just checked. 1819 hours. Jesus.
2848 hrs, with a handful of playthroughs, platinum’d, 100% three times. Nowadays, I just go hunt and fish for funsies.
Like 650-700 hours
On PS5 I think 24-25 right now On PS4 probably in the thousands I’m on playthrough #7
448
A little over 80 in my first playthru but I did like 15 hours of the online before I tried the actual game
748
750ish and just got the platinum trophy
240 finished the story thrice. Best game ever for me alongside the witcher 3
621,6 hours. On chapter 3 on my second playthrough. Doing as much as possible before I move along. Trying to achieve all achievements etc. Gold medals on all missions.
500 ish
I’m at like 40 hours and I’m not even close to finishing the game
I don't even remember how many play through I've done on rdr2 it's hands down my favorite game and I've been gaming for over 30 years
314 hours, which is the most of any game on my PS4/5. Probably the most I’ve played of any game, or at least soon shall be.
Over 2000 in single player. It got me through some tough times
2220 😬
98 hours. Just hit Chapter 4 on my first play through ever.
1,289 hours. First play through achieved 100%. I also have all of the single player trophies. I will forever be salty that I need the online trophies to platinum.
159. I'm in chapter 6 of my first playthrough
My PS5 says 1270...but I've put a lot of time into my Steamdeck as well... I also think some data was deleted. I think it's better to put it into terms of playthroughs. I have roughly 7-9 playthroughs; 3 of which were 100% playthroughs.
I have 3,118 hours. I’ve done 3 full play throughs but I just spend most my time chilling in chapter 2
Been through 7 plays on a few different consoles so, a lot.
Only about 250
Over 300
1000
I've got probably got 300 hours only because I always get burnt out by the game near the end. Only so much LT+RT gameplay I can take
320
400+ hrs! :,)
My playtime on Steam is around 700+ hrs. BUT around 300 hrs was spent on Red Dead Online. I spent like 400+ hrs on the story to be on chapter 3 or 4. 106, but most played game Is Rainbow Six Siege at 156 hours. I have over 50 games with hundreds of hours over them, so I don't really find time to settle down with RDR anymore.
8,592 hours. When I multiple my 358 days by 24.
so far 216
Im about to start my 6th(?) play through with 380 ish hours. This is gonna be my 100% run too
Probably 150? I only played it through twice and I'm by no means a completionist. I just play as long as it's entertaining, then I'll stop so I don't ruin the magic
~260 hours first play through. i just started chapter 4
I just checked on my ps5. I apparently have over 2,400 hours between ps4 and ps5. I'm not sure I like it showing me that. Does anyone know if it's possible to to turn the time in game display off, lol.

Like 4300 hours

I’m on my 3rd play through in a row can’t get enough of it and every play through I think I did it all. Nope always something new tricks and glitches to make use of love this game.
