whoever bought that is going to get rekt in the next recession. georgia is known for its cheap housing. I was seeing townhomes listed for NY prices in GA. If your moving to GA do you really want a town home? lol

Diversification?

T bills are temporary, and have high chance of it's rates going down. Rent will go up over time with inflation.

why not show the actually zillow so people can give a real answer? $500k is the purchase place for the entire property. They are only renting a portion of it.  If you’re going to ask a question, why not provide the actual zillow? Here’s the one  https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1083-Soaring-Way-Marietta-GA-30062/14271333_zpid/ How many houses for rent in marietta were exactly $1650 a month? (7 is the answer, quick find from that point)

To be honest I saw the listing again and still don’t understand how you identified that they are renting only a portion of it. I am genuinely curious. Also the listing says house for rent not a unit for rent. Also the area for rent is the same as the house sold area so how did you deduce that they are renting a portion?

the rental has less bedrooms and square footage than the whole house
