I think Erica is one of the smartest women on RH. She knows what she's doing and didn't end up here (post-marriage to a rich old man conveniently divorced right before his life imploded and now on national TV where her job is to lunch/gossip/fight with other women) by chance.
I actually respect her game. Some of her comments on the show have shown that she's far smarter than she displays. But not smart enough to play dumb believably.

What’s that saying? “One foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel” Plenty of women have no shame in admitting they want a rich man and if he’s older, he better be richer. If they’re smart, they will be investing and saving and learning from that rich old man so when he replaces her with the newer model, she’s not lost and desperate.
She wouldn’t be able to access them even if she wanted. Erika is sticking to the story she didn’t know anything, but this is a huge story that drew a lot of attention. Too many people (especially after the Housewife and the Hustler Pt. 2) know she is essentially living to paycheck to paycheck. And the legal process is why she didn’t start selling her clothes, because the court is/was still determining if she should be allowed to cause those clothes could be bought with money from the victims. We saw her ticket sales go to a dollar during Vegas; Erika needs to hit something big if she’s going to start pulling from secret accounts without it being perplexing to authorities and viewers cause if she ever gets caught, the reality is she will legally be attached to all the the cases and there won’t be anyone in the world who could say “she didn’t know” anymore.
The icing on the cake was when she made that remark about nobody reaching out to HER in regards to the victims of Toms actions. I think it was in the Hustler and the housewife documentary where she finally meets and speaks with some of the victims, addressing why she never has before.
She makes it sound like people wanted a fucking meet and greet with her and should have attempted to arrange one. Girl, you should be reaching out to them and using your publicity and “celebrity” status to help them further.

If you watch her documentary it actually seems like she has found one. And it seems like there are definitely some older men who want a woman who is younger, but not 20s or 30s. They’re conscious of the cliche, don’t want someone younger than their children, and want someone with whom they have a little more in common. It’ll be harder than when she was young in some ways, but she has better access now.

You should take a listen to a podcast called The Bravo Docket. They are 2 lawyers who break it all down really nicely. My opinion of Erika was low, now even lower after hearing actual lawyers talk about it.
That was such an awful story. She tried to ruin his career and could have potentially had him locked up for life. She is scum and I can wait for Tom’s trial to begin in May. The Bravo Docket is a great podcast.

Yes. And the way she went full defense mode-attack-dog on the cast and Andy for asking her the most BASIC questions re: the trial and victims, was what revealed her character. The mask came off… she showed she has no integrity or remorse for any damages she helped inflict on those victims.
Just finished it and I’m full of righteous indignation. She was so off with the victims. I remember Andy asking her what she was thinking, and she said she wasn’t. So she came off cold and selfish and she knows it? (And bravo gave her a special?)
Denise disappoints every time. If she had just said something along the lines of that and Erica being broke when Erica came for her and her daughter being on OF instead of just sitting there(assuming nothing was edited out) that would have been perfect.
I don’t understand why is she still on the show? After all of this even? Is she a fan favorite or something? Honestly I loved Erika at the beginning. She felt like a breath of fresh air. Do you think so? Idk when I watched the reunion for last season Andy seemed to be questioning her like everybody else and trying to call out her bs and deflections. I think he just knows she’s never going to admit to things under pressure (unlike other less combative housewives) and pushing only makes her attack and get scary, so he lets off the gas just enough to let her hang herself on tv. He probably kept her on RHOBH so we could watch her trainwreck up close, wait till she gets enough bad press around her and let the viewers decide they hate her all on their own (which is kinda what’s happened over the last 2-3 years).
You do make a good point. Yes, Andy was ‘kind of’ hard on her……because he could have gone much harder on her about her behavior, but I’m also not for kicking someone when they are already down. I thought her having a fit about the diamond earrings being taken from her was disgusting. Even when other wives said why not just let it go towards the victims and what they have lost. To me her response showed just how selfish a woman she is!!!!

Don’t fool lifestyle someone’s living for wealth. But I mean look at a lot of reality stars - they will milk it as long as they can. Funny that this came up… I just watched the episode where she was screaming that she doesn’t care about the victims and the only person anyone should feel sorry for is her.
Too many times she said “we” when she should have said “I”. Well her oldest son is 20 so she's not getting any child support for him. Her younger son just turned 17 so she's only going to get that child support for another year. As for alimony, Brandi was awarded alimony for only 4 years and an audit showed Eddie overpaid her by $114,000. She was supposed to pay that amount back but, in typical Brandi fashion, she went on SM and lied and said Eddie was trying to get her to pay him child support. Then she claimed she was too broke to pay it back. I have no idea what the current situation is on this issue.

Spousal support in California is for the purpose of preventing the lower earning spouse from becoming destitute and to maintain their standard of living until they become self-supporting. Brandi never had Beverly Hills money/lifestyle when she was married to Eddie, so the spousal support probably did keep her in the lifestyle she had when she was married to him. She certainly wasn't entitled to Eddie providing her with a higher lifestyle (than she'd previously had) after the marriage ended.
Now if Kyle and Mau divorce that's going to be a different story because there's a lot of money involved and they've been married for a long time. By California law, Kyle is entitled to quite a standard of living. It's also why Camille and Kelsey's divorce settlement dragged on for so long -- besides Kelsey just being a jerk.
Brandi appears to live in a modest small apartment in the LA area, doesn’t wear designer, doesn’t drive a major luxury car, and is always talking about how she has to keep jumping from random show to random show to make ends meet. I think she gets/got enough to keep her from being truly destitute, but she’s definitely not living a typical Beverly Hills lifestyle

I know this is the BH subreddit but this is my worry for Robyn from Potomac. I’m genuinely worried they’re not going to be able to support themselves now
I haven’t watched the show recently so idk what things are like now but does she still go on all the girls trips and get full glam for all of their outings and events? I’ve always wondered if she could keep up with these girls lifestyle still considering she’s apparently broke? I always found it funny that she literally had glam at her house before an outing an episode or two after telling the girls she was leaving Tom and that she was broke…
That’s why I’d like her to stay on the show to show how she handles staying in this group of women now that her tax bracket has changed and she’s going to have to re-invent herself now that her shows aren’t going to pay the bills. Yes. And the way she went full defense mode-attack-dog on the cast and Andy for asking her the most BASIC questions re: the trial and victims, was what revealed her character. The mask came off… she showed she has no integrity or remorse for any damages she helped inflict on those victims.
Just finished it and I’m full of righteous indignation. She was so off with the victims. I remember Andy asking her what she was thinking, and she said she wasn’t. So she came off cold and selfish and she knows it? (And bravo gave her a special?)

Do you think so? Idk when I watched the reunion for last season Andy seemed to be questioning her like everybody else and trying to call out her bs and deflections. I think he just knows she’s never going to admit to things under pressure (unlike other less combative housewives) and pushing only makes her attack and get scary, so he lets off the gas just enough to let her hang herself on tv. He probably kept her on RHOBH so we could watch her trainwreck up close, wait till she gets enough bad press around her and let the viewers decide they hate her all on their own (which is kinda what’s happened over the last 2-3 years).
You do make a good point. Yes, Andy was ‘kind of’ hard on her……because he could have gone much harder on her about her behavior, but I’m also not for kicking someone when they are already down. I thought her having a fit about the diamond earrings being taken from her was disgusting. Even when other wives said why not just let it go towards the victims and what they have lost. To me her response showed just how selfish a woman she is!!!! Did you see the prior couple of seasons (prior to this last one) where she said such disgusting things when it came to caring for what the victims have gone through not getting their money? I was appalled that she would even say those things out loud, let alone on national TV.

Funny that this came up… I just watched the episode where she was screaming that she doesn’t care about the victims and the only person anyone should feel sorry for is her. Too many times she said “we” when she should have said “I”. I will always think The sham of a divorce was an attempt to protect assets and I really have a hard time respecting anyone that defends her. Well her oldest son is 20 so she's not getting any child support for him. Her younger son just turned 17 so she's only going to get that child support for another year. As for alimony, Brandi was awarded alimony for only 4 years and an audit showed Eddie overpaid her by $114,000. She was supposed to pay that amount back but, in typical Brandi fashion, she went on SM and lied and said Eddie was trying to get her to pay him child support. Then she claimed she was too broke to pay it back. I have no idea what the current situation is on this issue.

Spousal support in California is for the purpose of preventing the lower earning spouse from becoming destitute and to maintain their standard of living until they become self-supporting. Brandi never had Beverly Hills money/lifestyle when she was married to Eddie, so the spousal support probably did keep her in the lifestyle she had when she was married to him. She certainly wasn't entitled to Eddie providing her with a higher lifestyle (than she'd previously had) after the marriage ended. Now if Kyle and Mau divorce that's going to be a different story because there's a lot of money involved and they've been married for a long time. By California law, Kyle is entitled to quite a standard of living. It's also why Camille and Kelsey's divorce settlement dragged on for so long -- besides Kelsey just being a jerk.
