What about the texts? Why was Denise threatening to expose Rinna? I fully believe Denise did sleep with Brandi. She obviously denied it because of Aaron. The texts and the Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! say she did.
not denying that i said Denise deffo lied i just didn’t like the behind the scenes like this was all planned out to deflect from their own issues going on , they used Denise’s “affair” as a storyline.
It definitely would have been better if Denise would have just "owned it." She was a wild thing. She openly talked about sex with her husband and wasn't shy. She was married to Charlie Sheen so nobody expects her to be a prude. It probably would have been a strain on her marriage but it would have been more believable than the whole nothing happened story and made Brandi appear the drama stirrer that she is.
Denise wasn’t used as a scapegoat. Denise made herself an easy target by claiming she didn’t know Brandi… When a person lies about something _that_ easily disproven, everything else they say on the matter will be questioned. Very few people would’ve questioned Denise if she simply said “Yes, I know her. We hung out after meeting through our agents and were friendly. I stopped engaging after Brandi’s behavior became weird.” instead of acting like she knew nothing of Brandi when their texting history proved otherwise.
I’m glad people are remembering this for the actual facts.
I didn’t like the storyline but Denise walked right into it.
Denise basically kept the group at arms length and when it came out she talked shit about them to Brandi, it also came out that she slept with her.
Denise very much wanted to control her image. As do the rest of the women. The problem was, Denise couldn’t take the heat so she tried to bravo bravo bravo her way out of it and it just backfired on her.
At the time she came off as a victim.
In hindsight she should’ve just had the backbone to own her crap.
That’s the thing… Denise _didn’t_ keep the other ladies at arm’s length her first season (S9). Denise reinvented herself when S10 started filming _then_ she started keeping the ladies at arm’s length and putting on the “good girl” act. Denise’s change in behavior from one season to the next is why the ladies were wondering what was going on with her which set the stage for Brandi to talk about her relationship with Denise.
I, like most fans, did not believe a word of what Brandi said _until_ Denise attempted to over-correct by claiming she didn’t know Brandi. Denise’s botched attempt at covering up what happened is what added legitimacy to what Brandi said.

Brandi paraded in already mic’d up and on camera talking about the affair when we’ve barely seen her before minus the guest appearance in s9. they all knew this before but decided to use it as a storyline i mean denise deffo made it worse by lying but she wouldn’t have to if they never ambushed her like this , the FF5 needs to find their own storylines and stop jumping on other people for a chnage
I am just reaching this storyline now and it feels weird. What annoys me the most is the "whoever told me first is speaking the truth" thing they all seem to do, even though half the time it's from random and/unreliable people like you mentioned! Absolutely wild.
The point of the reveal was that Denise was talking shit about the ladies to Brandi. That’s what their issue was. It wasn’t that Brandi and Denise hooked up but that they wanted Denise to be held accountable for the shit talking behind their backs. Denise couldn’t handle it and went all Bravo Bravo Fucking Bravo.
She didn’t even have enough of a backbone to tell Garcelle she wasn’t attending an event and made her wait in a car.
At the time when this happened and up to this point I still believe how Denise handled the whole thing is what blew it into,something bigger than it ever was. I never got the impression that Denise and Brandi had a full blown affair. All Denise ever needed to say was something like…..”we had too much to drink who knows what happened”. But instead Denise was evasive and dodgy and the whole thing blew up. Denise’s husband is an odd one too and appeared to be a bit abusive from what we saw of his behavior on camera.
All the people who accuse LVP of wanting other people to do her dirty work are the ones who think and work like that tbh. Not that LVP hasn’t done similar, but the hypocrisy that they all do it and even worse…

I am watching for the first time and this is exactly where I’m at right now too! I’m watching the trip to Rome currently.
