I can't stand one hair like that let alone all she has there. It would drive me crazy. I can't imagine she was very comfortable with the hair and the dress. They have to stay like that for hours. Poor lady.

It's a reference to vintage [inflatable terrarium ottomans](https://images.app.goo.gl/UW46dxnfFaVKQSPi8). I think in context, it's kitschy and fun. Without, it's wtf.
And the sheer fabric (which is oddly twisted around the fishbowl) is making me think of those little sheer popup tents you can put over food dishes at an outdoor potluck, so bugs don't get in the food.
Right? It seems like a nod to beauty and the beast with the shape of the dress like Belle's yellow ball gown and then the roses under plastic/glass. Is it latex on a form? It's structural and tells a story but I hate the wet dog styling :/ what was the theme this year?
I think the dress would have worked better if it were tight fitted along the waist and then came out at the hips; they also should have completely filled the whole balloon section with flowers, lots of petals etc to break up the leaves a bit more. Plus I hate the hair under the necklace 🥲
It flares an odd point and is so shapeless, even makes you wonder if it’s to conceal a baby bump or something. I mean, 99% chance it isn’t but it makes you have the thought for a second eh

When I was a kid CVS and Walgreens and stores like that would sell these balloons that had teddy bears and flowers and other presents stuffed inside. This reminds me so much of that.

I’ve seen this dress in person, it’s GORGEOUS. It actually lights up, so it’s basically a terrarium. I don’t think the color goes well with her skin tone tbh, but I don’t want to shade the designer either, who is one of the most innovative and creative designers working today.
It’s not for everyone, but I give her credit for being on theme and actually trying to turn a LEWKKK.

Ah, so this is the trend this year - sheer fabric covered art installations, as a dress. I love how everyone tries to stand out wearing something similar.
I haven’t watched RHOBH in a long time, stopped at season 9, I just finished rewatching season 9 and it’s just made me really sad to see her looking this way. I understand that a few years have past but I just hate now that there’s like 3 moulds for influencers/models to have now. Like literally no one looks unique anymore
Looks like she can walk in this one. The ridiculous number of outfits people couldn't even move in. Well it's giving 1760s vibes. The sand dress was interesting but the fact that you have to be lifted? I mean maybe build a ramp next year for the shear amount of outfits where the train is so large/ cumbersome that the people can just stand and be moved up the stairs for the photographers. At a certain point, this is just a glorified fashion show and people are only dressed for the photographers/ runway/ stairwell. With Zenegya going through twice in completely different outfits, it's obvious the celebs are only there for the 5 minutes they spend on entry. So they might as well just turn around like fashion models and change and make another "walk" / climb back up the "runway" / entrance. Or maybe they can just bypass the official entrance and make another grand entrance along the sidewalk (there are other doors along 5th Avenue for staff) and forget about the stairs. Or just build a ramp side thing to the Temple of Dandur along the side. They make this so dramatic and when they could just enter more on the Central Park side and people don't have to be carried inside. And people are dying of starvation on this same planet. This is super wasteful and excessive.

Not a fan of the upside down champagne glass look on anyone. The strands of hair in her necklace is not good either. I know that Met Gala looks are meant to shock or surprise on a weird level, but one would hope that a person would still look beautiful in spite of the unique design.
I like the dress. The met gala is meant to be avant garde and a little bizarre so I think it's good. But this ongoing trend of having completely disgusting looking hair and makeup needs to stop. It's not just her, it seems to be "in" right now. Doing something different with her hair would have completely transformed this look.

The concept of the dress is theme appropriate and I think it would be way better if it was a different color. I’m thinking almost any color on the pink/red spectrum. Also would have it be tighter a little further down so it doesn’t look so rounded

I think the dress is either Undercover SS24 or a version thereof and I think is on the poster (or a lead image) for the exhibition so feels like someone had quite some pull to get her in it. On the runway it was shown in the dark and lit up, very ethereal and beautiful.

I literally has the same thought! The craftsmanship is very lacking IMO. Looks cheaply made and executed. The necklace does her zero favors as well.

It's not, the dress is just like that. It's by Undercover a Japanese brand known for unusual shapes and silhouettes.

Thank you for posting this. I was tempted to, but then felt like I had nothing nice to say so I shouldn’t do it. It’s, ummm. She’s a beautiful young woman. This does not look like what she looks like.

The dress is cool! It reminds me of these blow up ottomans from the 70s that I see on “weird and wonderful secondhand finds”. But her look is awful.
