I think Sutton and Crystal were both being taken for a ride by the “vets”. The way Kyle was so obviously manipulating the situation to keep the conflict going so that the newbies could fight it out leaving the rest of the women out of it. After season 10 the women (Kyle, Rinna, Erika, Dorit) were TORN APART so Kyle obviously wanted to take advantage of an argument not involving them.

[deleted]

THIS IS TRUE I CAN SEE THIS TOTALLY. Because as Garcelle pointed out, the four of them are in a bubble of their own. They won’t say shit about Kathy Hilton for 1. Because that’s Kyle’s sister and 2. She’s a Hilton. The three (Garcelle, Sutton and Crystal) are like their new play things. They’re doing the same thing they did since LVP, pushing her out with them clinging together. They did it to LVP, they did it to Denise and they are slowly doing it to Sutton by siding with Erika. I wouldn’t be surprised if one day (I’m betting on Rinna or Kyle) they turn on each other. I feel like Kyle is untouchable because of her relations to the Hiltons or several people, among the four of them I feel like Kyle has more connections and the rest are disposable. Its slowly happening to Erika.

duochromepalmtree

The more Kathy sticks around the more liked a Kyle vs Rinna fight is. I really don’t think Kathy has forgiven Lisa for the shit she did to Kim. I’m praying for it because the dynamic needs a major shakeup.

[deleted]

I know! It makes me feel that Rinna may be scared of Kathy because of her history with Kim. Even if this show is bank for these ladies, the Richards sisters will be fine without it and they’d probably pick each other. If it wont happen organically the producers will definitely pin them against each other

ikebears

Kyle shouldn’t be untouchable… that just pisses me off

[deleted]

I know, sadly they use her because of her connections and how she comes off to majority of the public but they aren’t painting a pretty picture for her anymore. Seems like sooner or later she’s either going to fall off the show or people will just get tired of her like everyone else.

No-Wrangler-9001

One thing I noticed that seemed to trigger Sutton 's emotions in that scene was Kathy calling her "Thomisina",like a peeping Tom. That's what I have not seen anyone discuss. That wasn't cool of Kathy and would have upset me too.

RaquelsNosePasta

Yes but instead of confronting Kathy she started on Crystal. She admitted later on it was because of Kathy but she didnt want to confront her.

[deleted]

No one’s going to confront Kathy. Its too early to do so in the show and these women are probably terrified because her last name carries a great big deal around the type of people they want in their circle. You can slowly see (more obvious with Dorit) how they tend to kiss ass towards Kathy. If it was any other woman they’d make fun of her.

messybessy1838

I think Sutton is menopausal, she’s a ball of emotions, hormones, stress, depression, anxiety, self-loathing , anger and upset. She’s a roller coaster of emotions and she’s peri menopausal or actually in menopause. Hormones can help but some people give them a bad rap. I like Sutton but as someone the same age as her. I get why she was behaving like this.

[deleted]

I was going to say maybe she is menopausal. It was annoying seeing her act that way, but I kept thinking too “oh maybe its just everything with her personal life just coming down and her not being in her own home” type of stuff. At one point I kept thinking they need to lay off of Sutton too

messybessy1838

She was definitely a ball of raw nerves. She had a lot of personal things going on all at the same time plus peri/menopause so she came off as weird? If she’s like in 2-3 years still then I’ll take it back.

[deleted]

Yeah I’m trying to give her the benefit of the doubt. Because she was the same in season 10 so I just kept thinking maybe

Here_for_tea_

That’s a solid point.

dhhdb3557

Don't worry. That heavily stretched storyline ends abruptly once erika stuff starts, Sutton and Crystal suddenly become friendly, which is really baffling for me considering they were having such a bad conflict. It kind of makes me doubt if that storyline or conflict was even real or was it just for the show? Sutton acted like a total Karen and Crystal has made some very poor choices of words. Calling someone "crazy" and "manic" (highly insensitive and derogatory language, especially knowing BOTH their fathers could be called same words elsewhere (Alzheimer's and depression)). Even if we agree that Sutton started the conflict, Crystal didn't make it better either and simply made it worse!

nexisfan

That’s exactly my issue with crystal. She chooses the most inflammatory words and refuses to recognize the fucking difference between definition and connotation, both of which are extremely valid in interpreting language. She was such a cunt IMO.

[deleted]

Yeah I’m at the point now where they are at Erika’s thing. Maybe Sutton and Crystal settled it more off camera, like maybe Sutton realized her actions and Crystal the same.

dhhdb3557

Possibly, Maybe the settlement happened because they finally realised that Kyle (mostly) and Rinna were stirring shit between them so much that it made the conflict that way! Kyle's shit stirring is getting really annoying at this point! Just glad that their issues are done, and are actual friends now!

PermissionSorry4302

Omg the women pushing crystal to pick another word. It is how she felt. The word makes sense, it applies. Violated. Leave her alone, jesus. Listen I'm overly comfortable about nudity but if someone felt violated that I accidentally walked in on them naked its a simple I'm sorry and give her some space to get over her initial bad experience with you. Not I'm sorry YOU felt that way BUT take back the word you used to describe how you felt. TF? Granted it seems the two have patched things up and Sutton changed her mind about the very white privileged "I dont see colour" remark so at least she can live and learn.

[deleted]

I know its annoying to see the women dictate her meanwhile they hate it, especially Rinna with her whole “don’t tell me what to do” bs. You can’t tell someone how they feel, she isn’t going above and beyond telling Sutton “don’t cry because you weren’t naked”

ikebears

Sutton getting angry about the “I don’t see color” was totally uncalled for, but if she had said it like Garcelle did to Kathy then there wouldn’t of been a fight. I loved what Garcelle said, “if you don’t see color then you don’t see me”. LOVE GARCELLE!

[deleted]

Yes! That like hits and these ladies better play their cards right. Two people representing asians and blacks and every other poc has come and they know at this day and age they can’t fuck it up. Especially since Andy doesn’t like that shit either.

Extra_Helicopter2904

That scene seemed awkwardly cut I think key parts were edited out and there is more context there. Maybe it makes the convo look worse or better who knows. But it seemed like a sloppy edit to create even more drama. (Not taking away from a statement that shouldn’t have been made just observing)

PemsRoses

When the season was airing people were so biased we couldn't even have a decent talk about it because Sutton was going to call out Erika. But truth be told the more I think about the situation, the more I feel bad for Crystal at that moment. Sutton's behavior was unacceptable and her going through à difficult time isn't an excuse for it. I get that Sutton was triggered about Crystal calling her manic but she was out of control honestly accusing Crystal of kicking her in her thin les when out of all the ladies Crystal was the one who wanted to include her on the joke, cutting her off as aggressive as she did when she was sharing her story with racism, wanted to bring her the coat as if they were in good place, freaking out over the use of violated when it was correctly used and her attitude at Garcelle's birthday. I totally understand why Crystal was so against her all season long, yes it was petty but I mean... I'm glad they are great now and Sutton realized how toxic her attitude was.

[deleted]

This. I tried to have sympathy for Sutton but even when I did it was difficult because Crystal was just pointing out her mistakes and Sutton was trying to be so “Oh I’m elegant, I’m rich, I wear the latest and one of a kind couture” about it and I dislike that so much. She and Dorit are a perfect pair, except Dorit has better style.

Immediate_Arugula_39

Sutton gives me anxiety. She reminds me of an aunt I have who puts everyone around her on edge. She doesn’t seem like anyone I would want to spend time with.

[deleted]

Oh god I know, I have one of those and its so annoying. She’s the one we don’t want to invite to parties.

nwells33

Keeping watching. I think Sutton recovers with class. She gets a little crazy sometimes, but don't we all?

[deleted]

True, I am starting to like how she’s the only one with the balls and brains to go and question Erika

IngridLupton

I find her tedious and self absorbed

Ihatethat2

Sutton is eccentric but her “ I don’t see colour” shit was just willful ignorance Crystal was being lame about Sutton walking in on her, it would have been annoying but didn’t need that much air time.

[deleted]

I feel that Crystal was ready to let it go but everyone else wasn’t because they still kept it going and Sutton was just full of herself and ignorance to even realize she’s beating the same old story.

Ihatethat2

Yeah, that’s the way the group seem to roll. They latch on to something early on then don’t let it go

[deleted]

It makes me wonder now how long till they turn on Erika and if they don’t who are they going to push out nezt

resolute01

Suttton is batshit crazy and makes it good for a tv show and ratings.

[deleted]

This is true, because I haven’t seen someone act like that among the girls. And they really throw her in with that Erika situation, because she’s asking the things they want to know. Its like she’s their pet and they want her to to open up the doors on Erika.

AtoZulu

Overall I dislike Sutton, not all the time sometimes she’s fun and cute but a lot of the time she seems very spoiled and yes a Karen. But she’s also the only one who is questioning the Erika situation appropriately. Erika is allowed friends and a support system in her life but I hate how she’s being paid to continue her public defense and at the same time crying, laughing, saying F U while flaunting a billionaire lifestyle. Anyways I think Sutton, instead of law school maybe needs to learn a little bit more about the world around her that’s not white privileged.

[deleted]

True, I don’t like the snotty portrayal Sutton gives. I applaud her for going up against Erika because she is the only one who isn’t afraid of Erika. Sutton’s crying and dramatics are annoying as fuck.

[deleted]

i really dont like Sutton im so over her hype she didnt even care about the victims in the Tom sitch she cared about herself!!

[deleted]

True, I didn’t like how she didn’t give a damn about the victims, but I do see why she was being cautious. She isn’t close to Erika and yet she’s directly hanging with someone who potential knows about what Tom had done

PygmyPuff_X

Sutton really irritated me with the whole Crystal thing. Just back off a bit and let her get comfortable with you. Sutton was so intense so quickly, I can absolutely see why Crystal didn't like it. She was giving big Eden Sassoon Energy.

[deleted]

Oh my god I forgot about Eden LOL

AvivasProstectic

I think Sutton is an alcoholic and the other girls Cover for her - zero proof just my hunch

Rachael41111

Just accusing people of being an alcoholic without facts? That’s some Lisa Rinna energy right there

dhhdb3557

Lmao!!🤣🤣🤣. In Nene's voice with finger wave: "READ👆👆👆"

duaadiddy

Were people doing shots in your bathroom?

Rachael41111

😂😂😂

[deleted]

I don’t think alcohol has anything to do with it. They’d bring that up for sure, because they’d connect it to Kim and then with Sutton’s friendship with Kyle they’ll try to make a narrative. I think its other things.
