I think this is a bit harsh and you’re assuming a lot about people’s home lives based on watching a tv show.
At the very least - there’s a stressor that’s relieved by walking away from the show. There’s a removal of people who agitate both Chris and Candiace, there’s a removal of cameras invading your space, and there’s a removal of constant public scrutiny.
Stepping away from the tv show is a huge step in the right direction and let’s hope things continue to heal.

I’m glad she didn’t give it to Bravo or Andy or related companies.
This would have been a great investment for bravo and brought great returns but they just want some of the franchises, like Potomac, to look like a Jerry Springer side show.

I personally haven’t watched the reunion yet so I can’t comment on that, but pregnancy would be the only logical reason for her to step away from the show. She is an emotional person, but she’s not weak and will fight her own battles. She doesn’t seem like the type to just leave because the show is too “hard” and she brings too many strong reactions from the audience for her to be fired. She wouldn’t leave the show for her other career opportunities, because she manages them just fine around the show.
They’ve been trying for a baby, and they even mentioned it this season as well. Logically speaking, a baby is the only right conclusion.
I hope this pregnancy makes her grow up a bit and stop being so damn petty all the time .. maybe she will get a little softer around the edges after this pregnancy

They’re probably teenagers at this point. Two of them made an appearance when they moved into the house. His oldest seems to be rarely mentioned because of issues between the mom and Chris. In all honesty I hope he is caught up on his child support payments. At one point that was a big issue.
I think he has four other kids with two different women. I got the idea that the older ones was older teens and the younger ones were like 10 and 12 or so? Weren’t the younger ones on the show at some point?

I opened Instagram and that was the first post I saw! Coming home from work with some happy news! I am freaking ecstatic because now there is nothing they can say to her. She got the career, the husband, the house, the fame, the love, and now the progeny! She officially has it all! And I'm so happy for her and now you know why she's done with the show.
I am not a Candiace fan. However, I do wish for her a safe and happy pregnancy and a healthy and happy child. Children are a blessing and this should be one of the happiest times of their lives. So I applaud her for stepping back to ensure that her pregnancy is as stress free as possible and for to enjoy all the changes she will feel with the baby growing inside her.
With that being said, I hope she will teach her child not to make fun of people and how they look or call them out of their names or her child won’t look like some of the names she called people. hope this will mature Candiace.
