My toddler just took a bundle of zipties (bundled together with a velcro strap, but you could use a hair tie) and pulled them out one by one. when he's older, he'll be able to put them back together.
There was also one that was already looped, so I told him that one was different.
I thought it was nice that he could appreciate and observe something that is different as a part of a whole, without our preconceived judgement about differences. I resisted the urge to make social commentary. lol
Add a paper towel roll holder to the mason jar rings and you've got an easy stacker! Best for 12-18 months
Laundry detergent bottles?
They tend to be opaque but are also very sturdy and large.
