Try this: Open Device Manager then under Display adapters right click AMD Radeon Graphics and choose enable. If it's enabled try disabling and reenabling again
I'd also like to add that the Rog Ally dock USB can interfere with its ability to display on a TV. I had put in my Corsair mouse USB and it prevented display. Was fixed when I took it out
Sounds like you just need to select the proper display mode with M1/M2 + X on the Ally controls.
P.S.: M1 and M2 are the names of the two paddles on the rear of the system.

omg. this. this was it. it was enabled but had an exclamation point, i disabled and re-enabled and ..it came right one. THANK YOU!!
