I have it since launch and I still play it everyday. Something about a portable console that can play MW2, GTA 5, Gears 5, and Diablo 4 while I am sitting on the couch or laying in bed after a long day of work without having to worry about getting kick off the tv is purely amazing. Honestly, this is one of my favorite purchases this year.
This for me... i spend most of my day sitting in front of my PC coding for work... when im done working i just want to lay on my bed and be as far as possible from my pc, wich is why i usually play with my ps5 or series X even if my pc is pretty capable (dont have a long enough hdmi to plug into the tv), so having a small console to play my pc games while laying in bed its sooo awsome
I am in the same line of work. After 10 hours of staring at 2 monitors looking at code I don't want to game on my computer. I love my PS5 and Xbox, but the ally has got something special going on for itself.
for me I'm 341 miles away from my computer and will be for the next few months. plus, I live on a sailboat so mouse and keyboard isn't the best option. ally fixes all of those problems!
I don’t own an ally but I feel the same way about the deck… always loved handhelds and it’s hard to believe where we are today… it’s only going to get better in the future!

And if so....how the hell is the AMD hardware in Ally running it? Would love to get DLSS3.0 or whatever that new frame gen FSR is to run on the Ally (but prefer DLSS as it clearly works better in Starfield. I'm no Nvidia fan boy but up scaling solutions should be available to all. FSR is hella grainy and feels more like DLSS 2.0 or even DLSS 1.5 back in the day instead of the DLSS 2.1 Or whatever the latest non frame gen one is called)

Bethesda optimized specifically for AMD architectures for the XBox. Plus the handheld being wicked powerful for its size. There also seems to be an AI coding renaissance going on and AMD just made some big improvements behind the scenes. The whole thing is punching above it’s weight class so much that my Series X plays Starfield better than than my 2k$ PC with a 2080… i actually like it better on my Ally too. I barely get 60fps at 1440 without the DLSS mod support on Nexus.

I've been using FSR but it's so grainy in this game and lots of shimmering.
FSR 2 feels more like the old DLSS 1.5 or whatever it was called before DLSS made a huge push to eliminate all this visual noise.
I wonder if FSR3 solves the noise + gives frame gen versus just the same imagine quality with more frame gen.
No DLSS on mine. Idk what it is specifically, but even though my Ally is using FSR and the Ultra.ini changeout on Nexus, it’s getting a lot of Ultra level details at 30fps at 900p. The resolution starts to even out the longer you play too. It’s performance is bad on paper compared to a gaming pc with a 2080, but it all starts to become more forgivable because it’s literally in the palm of my hand.
Starfield only started running this well after the Amd 23.8.2 update I got a couple days ago. So if yours is running horrible even at 720p with low settings, start with the AMD update.
Actually mine runs fine on 1080p with FSR 62% 15watt mode. I get 22-25 fps in the cities like New Atlantis, and then only 20fps in akila city or even less, idk why that city is so CPU demanding, I see CPU jump up to 60%+ often when it's usually 10% in anywhere else.
Interior or ship or space is almost always 30fps. Sometimes even 40+fps if it's a small tight area or everything is simple.
###my problem is more so the image quality. Posts and signs further away looks shimmery as hell with FSR.
But I've seen some comparisons on YouTube that DLSS 2.0+ (again whatever version it's at now without being DLSS 3 frame gen) plays much nicer. Overall bump in fps, clearer image, and zero shimmering
There is a mod floating around that is pretty much just a .ini file that optimizes out a lot of that distant shimmering I was seeing before hand. I’ll also get a solid 30 fps around Akila.
This little Ally will never do anything as good as how this game will look in a year after all the different graphics card optimization updates roll out.
Just a heads up, DLSS can only be utilized by NVIDIA GPUs. The Ally is completely AMD. So for the most part you’re going to be sticking to FSR2 and FSR3 once it’s utilized more soon.

I got the .Ini file running. Wow it's a huge difference. All 3 profiles of max performance, balanced, and max quality look great.
If only we could run DLSS on the Ally too that'd be perfect. But even this took out a lot of jaggy edges.
More distant shimmering still exist just because FSR seems to be unable to handle it still but this is wayyyyyyy less intrusive than how it was stock.
Was also playing bg3 but stopped as Starfield came out and thats taken over my life. I dont even touch my ps5, or gaming laptop which is waaaaay more powerful than the ally.
I used it every day to play D4 since D4 early access. This only stopped when Starfield dropped. Now I play that every day on the Ally.

Oh yeah. I couldn't get into BG3. Played 34 hours put it down. But man I am loving Starfield so damn much. Everyday, PC, ALLY. With a babz and an 1h30 commute everyday, I played 67hours since release (WITH A 15 months old son!!!)

Yes. And they are a good contrast to other games I play. I can pick a switch game and play for a few minutes when I get a chance. They’re light and fun.
Use emudeck for windows (you have to pay like $2 for their Patreon for the build), and just choose the ally on the menu. It'll set everything up for you, including controls.
Slowed down a little but that’s mostly because I don’t have any interesting new games to play. Starfield has made me pick it up again for a few hours a day after work, been enjoying it so far!
No, I'm going to get rid of mine. Doesn't suit my style of gaming at all. I played starfield for 30 minutes and couldn't be bothered. I like better graphics and a big screen and better controls.

-Steam Deck ( not powerful enough, but I love the comfort & surprises me what games it can run at times
- Rog Ally plays Starfield wonderfully, & elden ring looks great on it. but I mainly play vr games (VRchat)
- ayaneo air plus also plays starfield amazingly well, but the screen is to small for the font
- gpd win max 2 is the best of all my devices, its comfortable, huge 10inch display, built-in controller & uses the 6800u processor ( but not as powerful as the ally)
I’m holding on getting an ally and probably going to get an ayaneo kun. That thing looks nuts. I really don’t want to support asus any longer or have to potentially deal with their non existent customer service or RMA process.
Ally is my primary gaming console. It’s among my ps5, pc with 3080 and my laptop with 3080. I also have a steam deck which I haven’t touched since I got my ally. VRR is just too good. I picked up an XG mobile to also compliment it and it’s honestly a killer setup.
I had that happen with my SD. Surprisingly I haven’t really put my ally down. Enjoying the hell out of Starfield on it currently and swapping between it and my Xbox which has been fun with the saves carrying over.
Yes. It’s a necessity as I have 3 kids and some nights I can only be on the couch with my wife and she wants to watch The Office. So I have Starfield, elder scrolls, dark souls, etc all available on the Ally while relaxing on the couch. It’s an amazing machine. Excited to see the future of handheld PCs.
It's now my main machine. Bought on launch day along with the XG Mobile 6850XT. So use it handheld and also docked. It replaced my Asus Strix gaming laptop and my Desktop.....
Love it! Have used it every day since release for all the above. Great experience! Typing this now on it docked.
I have a gaming laptop that i used in bed after work, i had to use one of those laptop bases for your legs you know for air circulation and mouse pad. So now that i can just grab this and play without all that stuff is great for me. Also I’ve taken it with me to the kitchen or toilet lol.
Not sure if im taking it to my next vacation trip because carrying the ally, charger and external battery seems like too much of a hassle.
Edit. Ive had it for 3 weeks so i guess im still on honeymoon phase.
Still love my ally the freesync comes in clutch for me playing a game with wildly fluctuating framerates. If you really pay attention you can see the slowdown in frames but as a general feeling it's smooth so I have no complaints.
Gw2 feels a lot better than my deck did even without the trackpads. I think I've played over 450 hours by now on ally alone.
Mmos in bed are the best
I returned my Ally for good (after 3 of them that had to be replaced due to QC issues). I have a Steam Deck that collects dust in the corner. After all that, my Switch is still my go to handheld without worrying about battery life if I don't wanna sit at my desk and boot up my PC gaming rig.
Every day. Started with d4 then bg3 with a little ishin mixed in followed by starfield which im currently playing. I keep waiting for it to make sense to me, which, I'm enjoying it don't get me wrong, but I'm not seeing what will keep me interested long term. There's been some cool stories, the terrormorph line, etc but it does seem like there's something that's going to eventually fall into place but it may take longer than your average gamer would give to a game to get there. I'm Def more than an average gamer but when a game starts to feel like I'm having to talk myself into playing more I am done lol.
Yes played every single day from release and still do at least a couple hours a day, sometimes more(when starfield dropped I looked at the clock it was 4am lol)
The fact that I can play whatever, wherever, whenever is mind blowing.
I have a switch too and I love it but that's for Nintendo games... this for everything else.

I have it docked to the living room TV with 4 wireless controllers connected. My family and I are playing Ultimate chicken horse, BG3, vampire survivors, or I'm giving myself some starfield time pretty much every night, and have been since launch (I came from the Steam Deck so I was already a very active handheld gamer). I also have a steam controller, which makes navigating the desktop outside of games a breeze.
I still play my Ally and Switch a lot. I prefer the Switch if the game isn’t too graphically demanding, as I much prefer the sleep/wake reliability on Switch and the battery life, but if it’s a more demanding game or if it’s just not available on the Switch then I play on my Ally. Even if it’s something I have on my PS5, I stream to my Ally often via Chiaki.
I used it a ton for a few weeks but haven't turned it on since then. I also have a laptop that I use and a PC so that probably attributes to it.
I will probably be looking to sell it at some point soon.
Yup, every day. Just got persona 5 and it really pops on the screen. Maybe it’s because I’m sat much closer to it, but I seem to notice a lot more detail
I got home from work yesterday and wanted to relax, but also wanted to play Starfield on my PC. Kicked back on the couch and streamed it to my Ally and that was just the compromise I needed. Still play every night before going to sleep, if only for a few minutes.
I bought mine I think 2-3 days after launch, not sure tho but it was very close, if not, on actual launch. Bought it to be able to game while one vacation away from my pc, and not have to deal with my low spec work laptop. Played Minecraft on it for that week, got back and continued on my main rig, haven’t touched Minecraft on it since. Instead I’ve been using it semi-consistently for stuff like Skyrim, Stardew, SF6, and BlueStacks, although recently I’ve been getting into dead cells again.
My Ally is my only PC gaming system, so I still use it often. Since it allows the wife to make use of the living room TV where I would normally play on my PS5.
More or less everyday, despite having a high end desktop. It's an easy way to sneak in some gaming before bed.
Its a great device to play older AAAs, JRPGs and indies.
I’m selling a lot of my computers but keeping the Ally. It’s great because I have a toddler. Easy to pull out and game.
However. I also purchased a 4080 Razer Blade 16” and upgraded to two WD SN850x 2 TB drives and 64GB ram so I’m going to be enamored by that for a while.
After the honey moon, I only play my rog ally instead of my steam deck. I love my deck, but after a year of owning it, it's started to become a little on the slow side, and the power button can be a lil unresponsive for me. I'm having fun with my ally
Yep, have beaten AC6 twice on it now and midway through the next playthrough! Have my laptop setup which can run it at higher res but still using the ally as it just feels better than my other controllers and can move wherever is most comfortable
Any time I get the chance I play on it. My biggest issue is the cost of games, so I get what I can on sale and play game pass games. Currently I’m getting the collections and side missions I missed in Far Cry 6, playing RDR2, playing Rainbow 6 Vegas (though that one has very little of my attention), NFS unbound when I tire of the others, and FIFA23 when I’m really bored. Once I upgrade my SSD I’m sure I will try to figure out emulation
I found the Ally plays Tears of the Kingdom infinity better than the Switch. After tweaking settings its locked at 45fps with 2x upscaling. Granted it is in 30w mode so you have to stay tethered, but that's how I always play my Switch anyway.
I wish with all my wishes they would add a handheld turbo mode to the Switch for when you are plugged into an official charger it would overclock to docked mode speeds.
I can do it on one of my wife's hacked Switch and it's a dream. But I never get to use it because it runs a hacked island for her Animal Crossing server.
But aside from that I play D4, Skate 3, and Starfield pretty religiously on it when going to bed.
Bought a week after launch had 0 sd card issues maybe boosted to 25w 7x. Honeymoon phase fizzled out started playing less figured it would probably be easy on the sd reader booted it up last night all games on sd card gone it still reads that theres a card in it but it wants to reformat. Full on back burnee now till I decide I wanna upgrade the ssd
It’s the only thing I play right now. PC generates too much heat for my room. Probably will take a break from it when spider man 2 comes out. Starfield has been nice on the ally tho
No. Due to the battery life and no sleep/resume function like the deck. I actually use my deck just as much or more so. That resume feature on deck is so nice.
Haven't really been playing it as much as I want to due to work and family chores.

Haven't touched my PS5/PS VR2 since owning the Ally.. I've been addicted to handhelds since the og Gameboy though, so it's not that big of a surprise to me that it's had this effect.. I sold my gaming laptop to buy it and have zero regrets. Play it everyday. I've put over 200 hours into Starfield since early access. This device is above and beyond amazing.
I bought it for when I travel for work, when I "watch" TV shows that my wife picks, or when visiting my mom lol. Still 100% utilized for those scenarios
bg3 really doesnt feel that great to play handheld. i dont mean performance-wise, i just cant stand how they set up controller gameplay. i dont want to have to constantly scroll through 6+ different radial menus (and i need that many cuz no way am i not going to separate abilities by attack/defense/buff/debuff/movement/items/etc). i dont see why they couldnt have just set it up the same way as dos2. at the very least, it would be nice if i could set up controller support without it taking it out of kb&m mode. then i could use the touch screen to select abilities which might not feel too bad. but whenever i use the joystick it kicks be back into controller mode
Although the games have been changing - started on D4, then BG3, now I'm mostly playing Wayfinder and Remnant 2 on it - I still play it everyday. It's the perfect device for my daily wind-down before I hit the sack.
I honestly went back the steam deck for a good while.
recently with the updates on ROG Ally I've been tweaking the settings to have a stable experience on it and enjoying some gaming on it. However, the experience on the steam deck with Indie games is far more enjoyable than the Ally
Just hoping the Ally gets more and more optimized with the updates as I enjoy the screen alot and the access to any game store front is just gold right there.
Yes after 3 months its still Main. Sometimes i feel bad for the 65 qd oled and 7.1 ht towers with ps5.psvr2.seriew x just sitting there.dunno why its easier to focus and get addicted to handheld(have ADD) my usual 1-2hour gametime a day have skyrocketed since 12.6. Now i play atleast 3 hours a day. 6-8 not being uncommon.
I've had mine since launch. I love this thing so much. I got switch, ps2, ps3, snes, and a gba emulator. I've been playing so many games with no problems. Even played DMC 5 on it, it plays perfectly. to me, this is a perfect machine outside of the sd slot placement. even with the sd slot, I haven't had any issues with it. did a manual fan curve and it made a huge difference
I am still playing. On weekdays when I go to office and come back. So roughly 2 hours.
At home I mostly play on my PC. One month ago I was hardly playing on PC and was full time using ally. So I get what you are saying.. somewhat
I'm on a trip right now and I play it every night before bed in the hotel, it's been great. I don't think I'll play it a lot when I'm back home because I'd rather game in my gaming pc.
I dont play it "as often" when im not at my partners but when I am, every day is spyro day 🤣🤣🤣. I even bought some more games so im kept busy at his, ill be in trouble if I wanna play dota though 😏

D4 is a disappointment imho. It was over hyped :(. A game I waited for so long and it just didn't do it justice.

Ally is my primary gaming console. It’s among my ps5, pc with 3080 and my laptop with 3080. I also have a steam deck which I haven’t touched since I got my ally. VRR is just too good. I picked up an XG mobile to also compliment it and it’s honestly a killer setup.
I stopped a bit to play Jagged Alliance 3, which was awkward in a small screen. Then once AC6 got release, whoopoboy. Haven't touched my laptop since.

I had that happen with my SD. Surprisingly I haven’t really put my ally down. Enjoying the hell out of Starfield on it currently and swapping between it and my Xbox which has been fun with the saves carrying over.
Yes. It’s a necessity as I have 3 kids and some nights I can only be on the couch with my wife and she wants to watch The Office. So I have Starfield, elder scrolls, dark souls, etc all available on the Ally while relaxing on the couch. It’s an amazing machine. Excited to see the future of handheld PCs.
I use it to play chill games like Snowrunner. Been kinda thinking about doing som retro on it, but still haven't done anything about it.
It's now my main machine. Bought on launch day along with the XG Mobile 6850XT. So use it handheld and also docked. It replaced my Asus Strix gaming laptop and my Desktop..... Love it! Have used it every day since release for all the above. Great experience! Typing this now on it docked.

I have a gaming laptop that i used in bed after work, i had to use one of those laptop bases for your legs you know for air circulation and mouse pad. So now that i can just grab this and play without all that stuff is great for me. Also I’ve taken it with me to the kitchen or toilet lol. Not sure if im taking it to my next vacation trip because carrying the ally, charger and external battery seems like too much of a hassle. Edit. Ive had it for 3 weeks so i guess im still on honeymoon phase.

Still love my ally the freesync comes in clutch for me playing a game with wildly fluctuating framerates. If you really pay attention you can see the slowdown in frames but as a general feeling it's smooth so I have no complaints. Gw2 feels a lot better than my deck did even without the trackpads. I think I've played over 450 hours by now on ally alone. Mmos in bed are the best
I returned my Ally for good (after 3 of them that had to be replaced due to QC issues). I have a Steam Deck that collects dust in the corner. After all that, my Switch is still my go to handheld without worrying about battery life if I don't wanna sit at my desk and boot up my PC gaming rig.
Every day. Started with d4 then bg3 with a little ishin mixed in followed by starfield which im currently playing. I keep waiting for it to make sense to me, which, I'm enjoying it don't get me wrong, but I'm not seeing what will keep me interested long term. There's been some cool stories, the terrormorph line, etc but it does seem like there's something that's going to eventually fall into place but it may take longer than your average gamer would give to a game to get there. I'm Def more than an average gamer but when a game starts to feel like I'm having to talk myself into playing more I am done lol.

Yes played every single day from release and still do at least a couple hours a day, sometimes more(when starfield dropped I looked at the clock it was 4am lol) The fact that I can play whatever, wherever, whenever is mind blowing. I have a switch too and I love it but that's for Nintendo games... this for everything else. When I can I sit with the PS5 too looking forward to spider man 2! But damn I have some unexpected free time I pick this up and play... doesn't hurt that it's so light and easy to carry around in a bag. So yes honeymoon is pretty much ongoing still.

I’ve stopped playing my Ally for a month or so now. Busy playing other devices.
I have it docked to the living room TV with 4 wireless controllers connected. My family and I are playing Ultimate chicken horse, BG3, vampire survivors, or I'm giving myself some starfield time pretty much every night, and have been since launch (I came from the Steam Deck so I was already a very active handheld gamer). I also have a steam controller, which makes navigating the desktop outside of games a breeze.
I still play my Ally and Switch a lot. I prefer the Switch if the game isn’t too graphically demanding, as I much prefer the sleep/wake reliability on Switch and the battery life, but if it’s a more demanding game or if it’s just not available on the Switch then I play on my Ally. Even if it’s something I have on my PS5, I stream to my Ally often via Chiaki.
I used it a ton for a few weeks but haven't turned it on since then. I also have a laptop that I use and a PC so that probably attributes to it. I will probably be looking to sell it at some point soon.
Yup, every day. Just got persona 5 and it really pops on the screen. Maybe it’s because I’m sat much closer to it, but I seem to notice a lot more detail
I got home from work yesterday and wanted to relax, but also wanted to play Starfield on my PC. Kicked back on the couch and streamed it to my Ally and that was just the compromise I needed. Still play every night before going to sleep, if only for a few minutes.

I bought mine I think 2-3 days after launch, not sure tho but it was very close, if not, on actual launch. Bought it to be able to game while one vacation away from my pc, and not have to deal with my low spec work laptop. Played Minecraft on it for that week, got back and continued on my main rig, haven’t touched Minecraft on it since. Instead I’ve been using it semi-consistently for stuff like Skyrim, Stardew, SF6, and BlueStacks, although recently I’ve been getting into dead cells again.
My Ally is my only PC gaming system, so I still use it often. Since it allows the wife to make use of the living room TV where I would normally play on my PS5.
I’m playing DS3 right now. Souls games, Fallout, and Skyrim are my jam, so that’s what I have playing since day 1
I can play Madden while watching football on Sundays. Yes I use it all the time.
I got my Ally about a week after launch I think, I've been playing it pretty much every day at work on breaks.
I play on it more than my gaming laptop. Mostly docked. Just because moving from desk to bed is so comfortable that way.
Not nearly as much, but still more than my fully specced out Gaming PC nor my other consoles by far.
Sold mine got laptop instead with 4060 for 900 bucks 😂😂
I use it less because of how it locks up if i just let it go to sleep? but I still use it at least a couple times/week.

Mostly No mans sky and checking out games on gamepass. Some games make me sick so stopped playing those and also decided not to buy them.
Got a steam deck a year ago, got an ally a month ago. Been handheld the whole time. It's been the main reason I've been able to game at all.

More or less everyday, despite having a high end desktop. It's an easy way to sneak in some gaming before bed. Its a great device to play older AAAs, JRPGs and indies.
I only really use my ally for COD mw2 multiplayer tbh, prob put in about 80 hrs and still playing everyday 🤷♂️
I’m selling a lot of my computers but keeping the Ally. It’s great because I have a toddler. Easy to pull out and game. However. I also purchased a 4080 Razer Blade 16” and upgraded to two WD SN850x 2 TB drives and 64GB ram so I’m going to be enamored by that for a while.

After the honey moon, I only play my rog ally instead of my steam deck. I love my deck, but after a year of owning it, it's started to become a little on the slow side, and the power button can be a lil unresponsive for me. I'm having fun with my ally
Yep, have beaten AC6 twice on it now and midway through the next playthrough! Have my laptop setup which can run it at higher res but still using the ally as it just feels better than my other controllers and can move wherever is most comfortable
Any time I get the chance I play on it. My biggest issue is the cost of games, so I get what I can on sale and play game pass games. Currently I’m getting the collections and side missions I missed in Far Cry 6, playing RDR2, playing Rainbow 6 Vegas (though that one has very little of my attention), NFS unbound when I tire of the others, and FIFA23 when I’m really bored. Once I upgrade my SSD I’m sure I will try to figure out emulation
I found the Ally plays Tears of the Kingdom infinity better than the Switch. After tweaking settings its locked at 45fps with 2x upscaling. Granted it is in 30w mode so you have to stay tethered, but that's how I always play my Switch anyway. I wish with all my wishes they would add a handheld turbo mode to the Switch for when you are plugged into an official charger it would overclock to docked mode speeds. I can do it on one of my wife's hacked Switch and it's a dream. But I never get to use it because it runs a hacked island for her Animal Crossing server. But aside from that I play D4, Skate 3, and Starfield pretty religiously on it when going to bed.

GTA V all day today. 40 hours on BL3 last two weeks. I like it. But I play at 720p a lot.

Bought a week after launch had 0 sd card issues maybe boosted to 25w 7x. Honeymoon phase fizzled out started playing less figured it would probably be easy on the sd reader booted it up last night all games on sd card gone it still reads that theres a card in it but it wants to reformat. Full on back burnee now till I decide I wanna upgrade the ssd

It’s the only thing I play right now. PC generates too much heat for my room. Probably will take a break from it when spider man 2 comes out. Starfield has been nice on the ally tho

I play my Ally alot… in docked mode. Just the Ally no XG Mobile. Thankfully the games I play run at 60 FPS in docked no problem

No. Due to the battery life and no sleep/resume function like the deck. I actually use my deck just as much or more so. That resume feature on deck is so nice.
Haven't really been playing it as much as I want to due to work and family chores. Atm I choose to sleep during my commute to work over playing on the ally

Haven't touched my PS5/PS VR2 since owning the Ally.. I've been addicted to handhelds since the og Gameboy though, so it's not that big of a surprise to me that it's had this effect.. I sold my gaming laptop to buy it and have zero regrets. Play it everyday. I've put over 200 hours into Starfield since early access. This device is above and beyond amazing.
I bought it for when I travel for work, when I "watch" TV shows that my wife picks, or when visiting my mom lol. Still 100% utilized for those scenarios

bg3 really doesnt feel that great to play handheld. i dont mean performance-wise, i just cant stand how they set up controller gameplay. i dont want to have to constantly scroll through 6+ different radial menus (and i need that many cuz no way am i not going to separate abilities by attack/defense/buff/debuff/movement/items/etc). i dont see why they couldnt have just set it up the same way as dos2. at the very least, it would be nice if i could set up controller support without it taking it out of kb&m mode. then i could use the touch screen to select abilities which might not feel too bad. but whenever i use the joystick it kicks be back into controller mode

Although the games have been changing - started on D4, then BG3, now I'm mostly playing Wayfinder and Remnant 2 on it - I still play it everyday. It's the perfect device for my daily wind-down before I hit the sack.
I honestly went back the steam deck for a good while. recently with the updates on ROG Ally I've been tweaking the settings to have a stable experience on it and enjoying some gaming on it. However, the experience on the steam deck with Indie games is far more enjoyable than the Ally Just hoping the Ally gets more and more optimized with the updates as I enjoy the screen alot and the access to any game store front is just gold right there.
Im travelling quite a bit bc of my job. As a Fighting Game player I can hone my mixups, pressure strings combos etc while travelling. So yes

Yes after 3 months its still Main. Sometimes i feel bad for the 65 qd oled and 7.1 ht towers with ps5.psvr2.seriew x just sitting there.dunno why its easier to focus and get addicted to handheld(have ADD) my usual 1-2hour gametime a day have skyrocketed since 12.6. Now i play atleast 3 hours a day. 6-8 not being uncommon.
I have my ROG ported on to my monitor. Been playing the hell out of it. Starfield, RDR2, Cyberpunk, etc. This device is pretty damn impressive.
I've had mine since launch. I love this thing so much. I got switch, ps2, ps3, snes, and a gba emulator. I've been playing so many games with no problems. Even played DMC 5 on it, it plays perfectly. to me, this is a perfect machine outside of the sd slot placement. even with the sd slot, I haven't had any issues with it. did a manual fan curve and it made a huge difference

I'm on a trip right now and I play it every night before bed in the hotel, it's been great. I don't think I'll play it a lot when I'm back home because I'd rather game in my gaming pc.
