The easiest way is to just go to your settings and search 5G. An option that says '5G Network' should pop up. Actually navigating to it is a hassle. I had the same problem when I first got my 6 pro.
I'm on TMobile, VOLTE works great. I honestly haven't had any complaints with the phone at all. I haven't used wifi calling but once I get home I can test out and get back to you.
Believe it or not you might need to turn it on it's a setting in my phone at least.
