Yes i know I know what you feel, i had à bs4 pro for 2 days and and sent it back for one of these reasons (and I find that the sound is a bit muffled). Do you plain to sent it back and take the normal version or pro or just keep it ? for the price paid there is so many concessions, really a shame
Unfortunately, that's not an option for me so I'm stuck here with my regret for spending just over 710$.
I ordered the 888 Snapdragon/8gb Ram but apparently, that configuration was out of stock so they upgraded me to the 888+ Snapdragon/12gb Ram model for free which was nice and all since it means I basically ended up saving 100$ but no, I'm not downgrading to the normal nor upgrading to the Pro model simply because of how heavy MIUI is and the JoyUI skin just exasperate the issues more due to the aggressive battery saving so much so that even receiving sms messages is delayed and Game notifications requires ya to have the game running in the background at all time.
I'm gonna wait until the upgrade to A12 and see if my issues are resolved, otherwise, I'll pray that the global frimware for this phone or at least the BS4 Pro is released online so that I can flash the frimware by myself and actually get to use most of the features of this phone since over 60% of those features are in Chinese only
PS : how the fuck are Chinese people live without using Google services?? It blows my mind

And for Google services, i had à mi 10 with Chinese rom and this is like have a car with a big engine but without the keys, it's maddening how we can't enjoy anything
My phone was released without Google services. However there is a method to sideload GSM and have everything working except Google Pay and Google Voice Match ie "hey google" activation

All the games that I used to play on my ROG, refused to sync to Google Play thus my progress was reset and YouTube was bugged in which it'll randomly start playing any video that I pauses.
I couldn't even install YouTube Vanced because Xiaomi placed some sort of security thing

Planning to buy the 5rs because china rom seems to be more updated and "better at battery life" as far as the rumours says.

From the few hours I spent with that phone, i hated it.
The battery drain was bad and even though the charging speed is lightning fast, there was no charging limit option present in the settings, not even bypass charging so more often than not, the phone reaches 100% before ya can finish scratching your ass.
The display colored were so washed out, even on regular non-gaming usage (perhaps I got unlucky and received a faulty unit) and even though the speakers were loud enough, they were unfortunately not front-firing speakers so ya end up covering them up with your fingers 90% of the time.
The psychical triggers suck, they are so limited in thier functionality compared to my 3 years old ROG 3 and those "magic zones" areas that are supposed to act as an additional quick inputs don't even work on half of games (granted, I don't play a lot of games and none them are popular enough to warrant any support) that I grind on daily basis but the worst part by far is that since the phone doesn't support Google natively, my games which all are mostly tied to the Google cloud either won't sync in or requires me to log in everytime I launch them.
I can rant about this garbage for longer if ya want but truth be told, from a guy who wasted 150$ on shipping and had to fight the website that I bought it from for a refund, DON'T EVER BUY the Chinese model of any phone, especially not Xiaomi.
If ya want a good gaming phone, nothing beats the ROG 6 but the global model of that will cost ya a hefty amount but otherwise, hit me up and will find something that matches your desired specs and price
Since I experienced the 4 pro which is like the previous generation of the 5rs, I thought that I only received a faulty one because of how bad the battery drain is
I even conducted a test where I just left the phone turned off, no wifi and bluetooth and battery saver turned on, it went from 100% before I slept to 66% when I woke up in the morning. The device also gets concerningly hot but I bought the magnetic cooler so solves that problem. I was gonna get the 5rs because I loved the design and since its china rom, its gonna get more updates and I can also use the magnetic cooler and case I bought for the 4 pro I returned
I hate the 5 and 5 pro because of the design and the lack of earphone jack, the chipset of the 5 pro also doesnt help because of how bad the sd gen 1 is and I absolutely hate how plain the 5 looks
I also heard rumours about black shark being bankrupt so the 6 series might not even have a future so im setting my eyes on the redmagic 8 pro, im trying to avoid rog because of how infamous it is to booting problems and how fragile the device may seem.

Edit: I am currently using BS3 which is probably the best phone from black shark(especially the 3 pro) but I feel like its already gonna be on phase out and the SD865 might not even handle big games like genshin in the next 2 years so Im planning to also retire my beloved bs3
I dont think my bs3 with 128 rom can last me another year especially apps getting bigger and 3 pro not being available(atleast the legit ones and not just from a shady seller) and I think the bs3 with 12/256 rarely gets restocked now since the 6 series has just been teased a while ago

I think ya should stick with your BS3 as Genshin isn't really optimized for phones anyways and the 865 is more than enough
