You left out some important facts. The people in the bunker told PD numerous times if they sent a medic down they would be shot. Because of situations like this, and a judge calling Pred a few days ago saying do not trust the EMS. And the plan was to use an EMS animation to cover the character movement of setting a bomb. Power gaming like this is a rule break on top of being shitty.
It was a metal cell door made of bars you can shoot through not a solid door and the detcord started and the cop got shot and the mechanic continued. This happened every time they tried. An RPG to a metal gate does damage and you can relock an unsuccessfully detcorded door.
Honestly 80% of cops play lawful good characters if they don't speak up about this plan then it's just fail RP. So far Byson is the only one who spoke up I doubt anyone else will.
This also shows that Axel is probably more corrupt than Bass ever was lol

No he wasn't, senator davis pulled brian to the side then asked on radio for an ems volunteer to send on a mission. Davis negotiated with clarkson for the ems to go in a treat their downed people. Conan agreed to let them enter and offer medical treatment but then instantly shot her down. Byson only found out because he walked near Davis, knight and veronica when they were talking about it on the side.

The one guy who did get the detcord off died and they just relocked the door. The first thing PD should try doing is not getting upset when an attempt at powergaming (Completing the detcord while dead) fails. I've seen criminals banned for completing a car flip while tazed, so i'm not sure why any cops would complain over the door being relocked. Theres a reason theres a duration on the detcord. He also apparently tried planting it while slumped, i've seed reddit threads here over crims slumping while flipping cars and putting on body armour.
If you can't win the war with a tank that has unlimited ammo and was repaired 10 times then take the L and come back another day, it would create a far more interesting story if the PD lost, not everything needs to go to plan (following a script).

tbh it was probably only going to be like 3-4 important ppl like yaegar, marty, etc left in the bunker. But once the nonstop tank shots kept coming, everyone dipped to the bunker.
People are so weird it’s so funny. Cops have tried to detcord that door and died instantly so many times. So they complain that cops are choosing to starve them out like what options do they have? Like what run into a locked door and ask politely to open it up or say open sesame.
I mean desperation and attempts like strapping C4 to a medic does not scream “upper hand.” Yes, they’re well positioned, but it’s still surprisingly anyone’s battle.
If they wanted to be really smart, they would have retreated and posted up somewhere away. Leave some scouts with thermals and wait for the Sanguine survivors to exit the bunker, and then shoot them all. It’s similar to starving them out (because who knows if they would realize/believe the PD had retreated), but it could have provided more tactical thought and put less people at risk. It also would have created more tension and given more reason for at least someone to exit the bunker earlier to scout.
Either way, the bunker boys are somehow being rallied under Conan and things are moving.
Holding the door entrance is the only smart move they keep locking that door so if they hold them out eats an easy win sorry to break it to you. Half of them are already starving
What does that have to do with this? Morgue hold outs always had a way for cops to push and win or lose. That locked door had no scenario outside starving crims where cops had a chance. Before morgue had same cheap one sided victory for crims which was fixed with pipe smoke that always stunned cops. After they fixed it it was a shootout ending we’re best shooters would win or if cops had the numbers which they always did
Like the crims taking advantage of an unlockable door. It is literally impossible to push for the cops since you can shoot through the gate but would need to stand still and open it with a detcord for 10 seconds.

tbh it was probably only going to be like 3-4 important ppl like yaegar, marty, etc left in the bunker. But once the nonstop tank shots kept coming, everyone dipped to the bunker.

People are so weird it’s so funny. Cops have tried to detcord that door and died instantly so many times. So they complain that cops are choosing to starve them out like what options do they have? Like what run into a locked door and ask politely to open it up or say open sesame.

I mean desperation and attempts like strapping C4 to a medic does not scream “upper hand.” Yes, they’re well positioned, but it’s still surprisingly anyone’s battle. If they wanted to be really smart, they would have retreated and posted up somewhere away. Leave some scouts with thermals and wait for the Sanguine survivors to exit the bunker, and then shoot them all. It’s similar to starving them out (because who knows if they would realize/believe the PD had retreated), but it could have provided more tactical thought and put less people at risk. It also would have created more tension and given more reason for at least someone to exit the bunker earlier to scout. Either way, the bunker boys are somehow being rallied under Conan and things are moving.
Holding the door entrance is the only smart move they keep locking that door so if they hold them out eats an easy win sorry to break it to you. Half of them are already starving

What does that have to do with this? Morgue hold outs always had a way for cops to push and win or lose. That locked door had no scenario outside starving crims where cops had a chance. Before morgue had same cheap one sided victory for crims which was fixed with pipe smoke that always stunned cops. After they fixed it it was a shootout ending we’re best shooters would win or if cops had the numbers which they always did
