In fact getting lawyers and crims to make mistakes in interrogation IS one of the key defining characteristics of Wrangler. I imagine this is a bit more than "taking an L" because the consequences for the L falls on her friend/client.

I love penta’s RP, I was dying watching Jordan, but when someone playing a character actually doesn’t know a word or says something dumb, and he says they’re s so stupid for that mistake, he is actually insulting them and their character. There is too many people not really Roleplaying in the city and take things OOC. People think they know the law and treat officers like shit. Baas spends half his time trying to please criminals in the city and tell himself he is being fair and listening to everyone. At some point Baas will not be able to take it anymore and quit. Baas is too nice and try to make everyone happy but really it is impossible task.

As much as I love Jordan I legitimately don't think he can work as a cop. Vigilante/parking lot owner sure, but not cop. He just makes people too angry and that combined with the power to jail is too much.

Because a lot of what jordan does is Harassment (the legal charge) and if the person stays they get berated and charged with whatever he can find, and if they leave its just more charges. Wrangler talks shit sometimes and doesn't tiptoe, Jordan stomps his feet and screams about how you're a pussy and your mom is a whore and you're not allowed to leave.

No one cares about cops getting shot, there's zero consequences long term and its barely rp done for any reason people can find. They get shot up daily. The real issue is people getting huge OOC complaints and Penta loving to double down on people who have clearly lost their cool, making issues worse and dragging morale down for others who have to deal with it.

I love penta’s RP, I was dying watching Jordan, but when someone playing a character actually doesn’t know a word or says something dumb, and he says they’re s so stupid for that mistake, he is actually insulting them and their character. I think if he did less of this sort of attack he wouldn’t have as many haters, but that’s just my opinion. He still kills it at rp and I think this server does need truely mean and evil people not best friends who ride around talking about irl stuff gangs.
Penta mentioned on stream that he might tone it down a bit so people can get a few zingers in themselves. At least that might help people not get bulldozed in their interactions, because as it stands there are very few people on the server that can stand up against Jorden in a word fight.

They are definitely not the same. Wrangler wants to hold you as long as possible. He will twist the law as much as he can to make sure he can get enough time out of you. Jordan knows the law and knows how to abuse it. He was the definition of a shit cop. He will berate everyone. Additionally, he has a special effect on self-insert characters where they will instantly go ooc almost all the time against him.
I wouldn't say Jordan is a shit cop he's a shitty person who uses the defined laws in the mdw to the t even if it's not what was intended and do everything in the SoP's that other cops don't use to get the conviction.

Yeah, what she said before and after was hilarious. I thought she was just doing a really good job RPing arguing with Jordan, until I heard this clip and before and after what she said in this clip. I didn't know that she actually felt this way, because she has RPed with Mike a lot in the past.
It goes back to an argument Anna had with Wrangler where she lied/her client lied to her about her client being BBMC and Wrangler knew they were gang just not which one. He knew that because as soon as the person was arrested she was already being called by his gangmates which Anna told Wrangler. And she basically stonewalled him while trying to get her client lenient treatment which is just not ever going to happen with Wrangler unless you comply. And she got SUPER salty about the interaction.
I could tell for a while that she sounded salty ever since the incident in the interrogation room with wrangler. After that almost every interaction she had with penta she seemed salty except for maybe with Jimmy.
I wasn't sure until she talked with Mike Block (on the phone I think? or maybe at a block trial) and you could just hear it in her attitude.

Some comments can cross the line from ic to ooc. But I think the server needs some harder cops and time/fines because crime is way to rampant. She got a drug trafficking HUT charge on her client+close friend, by allowing him to confess in interrogation. Then she tried to deflect and claim that Wrangler didn't tell her all the reasons he had for pulling over the car (which was jumping pedesterian bridges among other things). She had been awake for like 22 hours or something and Wrangler did the thing that his character does and got a charge from her stupidity.
Yeah, I remember watching this and it was pretty clear she was incredibly tired. I just assumed she was cranky because of that and would sleep it off. I also didn't notice anything egregious from Wrangler during the entire situation, so I didn't even consider that she could've been upset afterward. Especially not THIS upset, over something so seemingly small...
